The study aims to find out the factors related to the readiness of adolescent girls to face menarche at SDN 03 Cikodom Gunung Sindur Bogor. This study employs a quantitative research method  with a crossectional study approach. The research will be carried out in December 2023 - February 2024. The population and sample were all female students in grades IV and V totaling 60 people with a total sampling technique. Analysis used chi square Test. Results: there was a relationship between age p = 0.019, knowledge p = 0.011, availability of information p = 0.000, maternal role p = 0.000 and peer support p = 0.019 with the readiness of adolescent girls in facing menarche. Abstract

Until now, the MMR in Indonesia has not met the set target, with a maternal mortality rate of 305 per 100,000 live births in 2015. Meanwhile, the target to be achieved is 183 per 100,000 live births by 2024 (Kemenkes RI, 2021). The data regarding maternal mortality cases in Madiun Regency, which have continued to increase in the last two years, are very worrying. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of seriousness, barriers, vulnerability and benefits with the prevention of pregnancy complications. This research method uses correlational quantitative research, the sample amounted to 30 pregnant women. The results showed that the four variables were statistically tested and significant with a Nagelkerke R2 value of 81%, meaning that the four independent variables (perceived seriousness, perceived barriers, perceived vulnerability and perceived benefits) were able to explain the pregnancy examination by 81.5% and the remaining 18.5% was explained by other factors outside the research model. The conclusion of this study is that perceptions of seriousness, barriers, vulnerability and benefits affect the prevention of pregnancy complications.

Abstract

Postpartum depression (PPD) is a condition that can affect mothers after childbirth, leading to negative impacts on both mental and physical well-being. Although often considered an extension of the baby blues, PPD has more serious consequences and requires medical attention. This study aims to analyze maternal factors associated with the occurrence of postpartum depression in Banten Province. Using an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach and purposive sampling technique, the study involved 116 respondents. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) questionnaire. Data analysis using the Chi-square test revealed a significant association between parity and abortion history with the occurrence of postpartum depression (p < 0.001; OR 5.21; 95% CI 2.685-10.109 for parity, and p < 0.001; OR 3.92; 95% CI 1.788-8.596 for abortion history). However, no significant association was found between age, a history of depression, and spousal support with postpartum depression (p > 0.05). These findings underscore the importance of parity and abortion history as key factors in predicting the risk of PPD, which can be used to design targeted prevention and intervention programs for mothers in Banten Province.
