The development era demands the skills of teachers to meet needs and adjust. This means that the teacher's ability to upgrade is needed. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the up-skilling that must be done by vocational school teachers with world-standard work era 4.0; and (2) knowing the concrete steps that must be taken by vocational schools teachers in re-skilling the world-standard work era 4.0. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The technique of determining participants using purposive sampling. Participants in this study were vocational school teachers, vocational schools service branches, and widyaiswara. Data collection techniques using structured interviews by preparing interview guidelines. Data analysis using Creswell case study data analysis model, namely (1) data management; (2) memoing; (3) exposure; (4) classification; and (5) interpretation. Data analysis in the study was carried out with the assistance of Software Altas. ti version 8. The results of this study are (1) up-skilling of industrial standard vocational school teachers in the era of 4.0 needs to be done with three components, namely (a) develop new skills; (b) time-to-hire; (c) competency assessment. Meanwhile, (2) re-skilling of vocational schools teachers with industrial standard era 4.0 consists of three components, namely (a) intelligent digital tools; (b) create new tasks and occupations; and (c) coaching programs. This implication can be used for widyaiswara in providing training to vocational school teachers.

The results showed that: (1) Based on the test, the results of the research proved that the Training Method (X1) proved to have a positive effect on the Work Ability of Training Graduates at UPTD BLK Wonogiri (Y); (2) Based on the test, it turns out that the results of the study prove that the Instructor / Trainer (X2) has no positive effect on the Work Ability of Training Graduates at UPTD BLK Wonogiri (Y); (3) Based on the test, it turns out that the research results prove that the Instructor / Trainer (X3) has a positive effect on the Work Ability of Training Graduates at UPTD BLK Wonogiri; (4) Based on the test, it turns out that the research results prove that the Method of Facilities and Infrastructure (X4) has a positive effect on the Work Ability of Training Graduates at UPTD BLK Wonogiri (Y); (5) Based on the test, it turns out that the research results prove that the certificate (X5) is proven to have a positive effect on the Work Ability of Training Graduates at UPTD BLK Wonogiri (Y); (6) Based on testing simultaneously (Test F), it turns out that the results of the research prove that all variables of Training Methods, Instructors / Trainers, Training Materials and Facilities and Infrastructure as well as certificates together or simultaneously prove to have a positive effect on the factor formation of the variables. Vocational education is seen as an integral part of the educational system, either at the school level or at a post-secondary level. It is indicated that vocational education has immensely influenced life and plays a vital role in evolving societies worldwide. Thus, analysing these scientific domains evolution and creation are essential. This study discusses the bibliometric review of scholarly research performed in higher vocational education in recent years. The study uses the Scopus database and a wide variety of bibliometric metrics, including publications, citations, and publishing patterns. A graphical visualisation of bibliographic details using the VOS viewer software is also presented. Results show that the number of studies covering this subject has fluctuated, with the highest number of publications being 65 in 2020. Often, by reviewing publications and research areas, it can be construed that higher vocational education research is diverse, including social sciences, computer science, and engineering. The bibliometric review conducted offers a rigorous and thorough view of higher vocational education research that may benefit higher vocational education practitioners and researchers keen on the pursuit of enhancing or discovering new knowledge in this field.

The increasing technology as changed the learning methods nowadays which clearly presents a new challenge to educators. Moreover, following the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world at this time completely inhibits the teaching and learning process to be done entirely online. This clearly presents difficulties to teachers and students, as there are subjects that require practice to improve skills and better understanding. Among the limited access for teachers during the online learning and teaching process is that teachers can only explain and display pictures and show videos. At the same time, students need skills and understanding related to a subject studied. Also, students may not be able to accurately identify the types of systems found in the subjects studied. For example, for aquaculture subjects, the process of online teaching and learning can actually be done. However, this subject also requires practical and field work for students. In aquaculture subjects, in particular, teaching aids play an important role in understanding the cage farming system concept in the teaching process because there are various farming systems used in the aquaculture industry. The development of teaching aid is a crucial phase to make sure the teaching aids develop in accordance with the objectives and topics learning. Therefore, it is important to have an expert perception of the development and usability of the Teaching Aids kit mini model (Cage system). This study consisted of 9 experts as an evaluator consisting of experienced lecturers in the technical field of Faculty Technical. This study uses a quantitative assessment method (questionnaire).  A set of questionnaires was distributed to the experts to obtain the required information and data. All data obtained were analyzed using computer software' Statistical Package For Social Science SPSS version 24 to obtain the frequency, percentage and mean through descriptive statistic. The study's findings show that the level of experts' perception of “Teaching Aids kit mini model (Cage system) development and usability is necessary and positive. The study's conclusion illustrates the need for the development of a teaching aids kit mini model (cage system) for teachers to increase the level of understanding and skills of individual students in the teaching and learning process for aquaculture subjects.

Research by developing an information system is a research that aims to produce and develop an information service system design in the form of website-based rooms lending using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database that will be used at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in-room management as room loan, room loan schedule, room loan data, and room information. This study uses the waterfall development model, with 5 (five) stages of development including the stages of communication, planning, modelling, construction and deployment. This research used Alpha and Beta testing to 3 (three) media experts and 31 (thirty-one) users including 1 (one) admin and 30 (thirty) students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and dissemination of research instruments. With data analysis in the form of a feasibility test using a Likert scale instrument of 4 (four) assessment scores to media experts and respondents. The final product produced is a website for rooms loaning information system, by average score by media experts (Alpha Testing) of 71.6 with the "very feasible" category. The results of the feasibility test by users (Beta Testing) were 34.32 with the "very feasible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based room loan information system is very feasible to use.

The objectives of this study were to: (1) develop a blended learning model using Android-based learning media for basic electrical electronics subjects; and (2) determine the effectiveness and level of student satisfaction with the developed model. This study used the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model which consisted of defining, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating stages. The research subjects consisted of 2 media expert validators, 2 material expert validators, and 31 product trial students. The research instrument used a questionnaire for media experts and material experts, as well as tests and questionnaires for students. The level of student satisfaction with the developed model was determined by the percentage technique, while the product testing was carried out with an experimental design (before-after) and a one group pretest-posttest pattern. This study produces a blended learning model using educational game media based on android for basic electrical electronics subjects. The results showed that the product developed obtained a validity score of 82.5% from media experts who were on valid criteria and a score of 93.7% from material experts was in very valid criteria. The model developed can be used effectively for basic learning of electronic electricity in vocational schools, which is shown by the post-test average score of 80.97, which is higher than the pre-test average score of 64.09. The level of student satisfaction with the product developed was very good with an average score of 85.8 on a scale of 100.

This study aims (1) to know the positive effect of internship on work readiness of vocational students; (2) to know the positive effect of vocational guidance on vocational students work readiness; (3) to know the positive effect of achievement motivation on vocational students work readiness; (4) know the positive and significant influence together between fieldwork practices, vocational guidance, achievement motivation for student work readiness. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all vocational students majoring in accounting in Majenang, the sampling technique used was random sampling with an error rate of 5%. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire with a Likert scale and five alternative answers. The validity test uses the Pearson product-moment formula, while the reliability test uses the Alpha formula. Data analysis methods are simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study stated that there was a positive influence of internship on vocational students work readiness of 0.687 and it was found that internship could contribute to job readiness by 37.2%, there was a positive influence on vocational guidance on vocational work readiness of 0.765 students and obtained that guidance vocational can contribute to student work readiness by 4.7%, there is a positive influence of achievement motivation on vocational student work readiness by 1,053 and it is found that achievement motivation can contribute to student work readiness by 6%, there is a positive influence jointly between an internship, vocational guidance, achievement motivation to work readiness of vocational students by 47.9% means that together the contribution of all independent variables to the dependent variable is 47.9% the remaining 52.1% by variables and other factors outside this study that is not explained by pen elite

This study aims to identify and describe the strategy for implementing work-based learning through fieldwork practices in vocational high schools which include (1) WBL-FWP implementation strategy planning; (2) WBL-FWP implementation strategy; (3) Evaluation of the WBL-FWP implementation strategy; (4) Supporting and inhibiting factors for WBL-FWP Implementation, and (5) Impact on WBL-FWP implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is Multi Cases, the research was conducted at VHS Turen and VHS Islam 1 Blitar. Sources of data were obtained from the principal, vice-principal for public relations, the Chair of the WBL-FWP Working Group, the WBL-FWP Supervisor, and the WBL-FWP Instructor. Collecting data using free and in-depth interviews, study documentation, and observation. The findings show that: (1) WBL-FWP implementation strategy planning is carried out by MoU with linear industry, WBL-FWP supporting industrial practice equipment, and student preparation with WBL-FWP program socialization and debriefing; (2) The WBL-FWP implementation strategy is carried out structurally, the WBL-FWP is implemented for 6 months and there is a pick-up after students complete the WBL-FWP; (3) Evaluation of the WBL-FWP implementation strategy includes the assessment of industrial work results and the assessment of supervisors; (4) The supporting and implementing factors of WBL-FWP are the enthusiasm and full support of all school residents and the limitations of the industry as the location of WBL-FWP, the presence of students to improve products, teachers gain experience and apply learning in schools, and students gain competence in industry; (5) The impact of the existence of WBL-FWP is that the name of VHS will be better known, and students will also gain knowledge outside and know more about how to communicate, socialize with those around them.

This manuscript aims at discussing the issues and challenges facing the teaching and learning of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Next, the manuscript discussed how stakeholders (e.g. governments, parents as well as TVET managers, lecturers and students can seize the opportunity to revamp TVET programme in the post COVID-19 era. Finally, the manuscript discussed the possible ways to overcome the issues and challenges facing TVET programmes in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Consequently, the authors drew logical conclusions on the discussions arising from the subject matter.

This study aimed to determine the effect of project-based learning on student learning outcomes and creative thinking skills in computer numeric control subjects at SMK KAL-1 Surabaya. This study used a quasi-experimental factorial research design with a 2-way ANOVA test technique. In this study, 66 students from class XI of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program were divided into experimental groups (n= 33) and a control group (n= 33). The instrument used in this research is in the form of test sheets and observations to measure the level of students creative thinking and their learning outcomes. This study found that student learning outcomes using project-based learning are significantly higher than students who taught using direct learning models in computer numeric control subjects. Furthermore, the learning outcomes of students who have a high level of creative thinking are significantly higher than those of students who have a low level of creative thinking. Moreover, there is an interaction between using learning models and creative thinking on three domains of learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) in computer numeric control subjects.
