Abstract

Bullying is social behaviour that commonly happened in educational environment. Bullying involves student as the actor, victim, and bystander. This behaviour stimulates various negative impacts not only for victim but also the actor. When bullying happens in early childhood education, educator plays essential role to recognise, identify, and prevent it. The present study aims to elaborate the important of educator role in preventing bullying that may occur in early childhood education. The present study uses literature review in order to gain information that are related to bullying in early childhood education. moreover, the present study also conducts interview with various educators to gain valid data regarding this behaviour. The present study shows that educators recognise violent acts that are conducted by their student but unfortunately they are not able to identify whether those actions can be determined as bullying toward early childhood children. Moreover, this violent action is a stimulus which can lead a children in conducting juvenile delinquency in the near future for the actor. Therefore, early childhood educator holds essential role in preventing bullying acts for early childhood children in order to prevent this behaviour becomes a habit.

Abstract

Morning fun is wrong one learning strategy that is applied to children in the morning as a transition activity from home to school with the concept of playing fun and according to the interests of the child.activities are Morning fun very important for children, because during the morning children need a pleasant atmosphere so that they can influence the learning process of children in school and aspects of child development. Morning fun aims to stimulate children to play together with friends, play independently, move freely, train children's fine motor skills. Morning Fun is an application between morning activities with anmodel independent learning. Morning journal is a transition process for children from home to school. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of social emotional abilities throughactivities morning fun at KB Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya. The research design used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were children aged 3-4 years at KB Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya. The results showed the average value of social emotional abilities before the application of morning fun (prasiklus) activities 54.25% and the average value of social emotional abilities after the application of morning fun activities (cycle II) 86.25%, thus obtaining an increase in social emotional abilities through morning fun activities as much as 32%. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in social emotional abilities through morning fun activities at KB Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya

Abstract

Role playing methods are how to teach carried out by the teacher by imitating the behavior of a social situation. Role playing methods place more emphasis on participation in students to play roles / plays in terms of imitating social problems. Social skills is a skill capable of being seen in action, able to search, choose and manage information, able to learn new things that can solve everyday problems, able to have communication skills both oral and written, understanding, appreciating, and being able to work together with other people who are plural, capable of transforming academic abilities and adapting to the development of society. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of social skills through role playing methods in children aged 3-4 years at PPT Tunas Prima Kebraon Surabaya. The research design used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were children aged 3-4 years at PPT Tunas Prima Kebraon Surabaya. The results showed the average value of social skills before the application of the role playing method (prasiklus) 54.25% and the average value of social skills after the application of the role playing method (cycle II) 86.25%, thus obtaining an increase in social skills through playing methods the role is 32%. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in social skills through role playing methods in children aged 3-4 years at PPT Tunas Prima Kebaon Surabaya.

Abstract

In children aged PAUD activeness in various activities is necessary for the development of large muscle and small muscle. In doing cheerful exercise is very helpful for the development of students in motoric physical activities. The research entitled ”Application of Cheerful Gymnastic Movement to Increase Students’Interest in Group B Physical Motoric Activities at Kartini Integrated Education Post” has the aim to describe the application of cheerful gymnartic movements that are used to increase student interest and explain the application of cheerful gymnastic movements can increase student interest. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The data collection method use observation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative and quantitative deskriptive percentages. The results of the study showed that (1) the application gymnastic movements to group B students was carried out continuously.(2) The results of the research in the first cycle and second cycle are known to have increased from 54,375% to 85% of the everage number of students. From these results it can be concluded that cheerful gymnastic can increase students’ interest in group B physical motor activities at the Surabaya Kartini Integrated Education Pos can be proven

Abstract

Brainstorming activity is a main factor that can give effect on students’ writing motivation. Teaching English writing by using brainstorming strategy is really important especially to increase students’ motivation. This research is aimed at investigating the effect of brainstorming and its relation to students’ motivation in English writing for the second semester students of Management Major of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, numbering 25 students in academic year 2018-2019. Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was applied in this research. Researcher could investigate and analyze brainstorming process by using this method. Applying brainstorming strategy, the participants (students) were more motivated in terms of writing, which at this time was English writing with a particular topic. Result of this study revealed that brainstorming strategy could improve students’ English Writing skill and their motivation in writing. They could produce good and effective words, and also interesting answers. Based on the fact, brainstorming strategy is suggested for teaching English Writing. Students’ motivation in writing much higher than without brainstorming strategy. Key Words: Brainstorming, Motivation, English Writing

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of children's honesty through the media ular tangga. This research was conducted on PAUD Cahaya Jembatan Merah Surabaya. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Subjects in this study are children PAUD Cahaya Jembatan Merah Surabaya, which consists of 9 children. Data analysis in this research used descriptive qualitative data analysis. Data collection techniques with observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. From the results of research known that from learning activities by using media ular tangga, Children are able to care and keep things together, Children are accustomed to tell the truth, want to admit mistakes, and want to apologize if wrong, and forgive friends who do wrong. So it can be concluded that the implementation of honesty through the media ular tangga is in accordance with the theory and practice in the field. Keywords: Honesty, teaching aids, snake stairs

Abstract

Play and games are what kids love, especially early childhood. Through playing a child can learnvarious new things that he did not know before. In this research the author wants to share ideas of gamesthat can be used by school teachers to train and stimulate early childhood development from variousaspects, one of which is to use monkey and tree games . This fun physical game not only makes childrenhealthy and strong muscles but many aspects that can be developed. This game of trees and monkeys canimprove children's abilities in religious and moral aspects, physical motoric, cognitive, language, socialemotional and artistic aspects. This type of research is descriptive narrative. The results are in accordancewith the opinions of experts regarding playing, this monkey and tree game can stimulate 6 aspects ofearly childhood development, namely cognitive, motoric, social emotional, language, art, moral andreligion.Key words: monkey and tree games, child development, play and games

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational application that is applied in Yapita Kindergarten Surabaya. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods. The author focuses on how to apply computer education applications to help students memorize the alphabet. The author made observations during the 3x meeting. Each meeting, they get a different computer education application game but the contents of the material are the same. The application has been installed on every school computer that has been adapted to the material being taught. The subject of the research was TK A, amounting to 30 students. Each student uses the computer provided at each meeting for 30 minutes. The results showed that learning media through varied computer programs in a game will make children more excited and enthusiastic to learn because it is not boring. However, for children who do not understand the alphabetical order, they will experience difficulties and confusion. Also, children who have poorly trained physics will experience difficulties when using the mouse. Keywords: : computer application, alphabetical, enthusiastic, soft motoric

Abstract

One of the obstacles that researchers encountered in PPT Mawar 01 is the lack of understanding of the child's cognitive to recognize geometric shapes and distinguish similar size. Researcher overcome this problem through the geometry beam game as it can be one attractive alternative as a learning medium. Result of the research using ClassAction Research indicates a gradual improvement in children's ability to recognize geometric shapes. Increased ability to know the geometric shapes seen on the indicator of the ability to know, understand, and apply the geometric shapes in play. Before the given action, the value of the average grade of 33%. After giving the action through learning by applying beam game in Cycle I value the class average increased to 60% and in Cycle II class average value increased by 87% to reach the 75% indicator of success. Its showed that learning with games beam geometry of color can enhance early childhood cognitive development on material familiar geometric shapes. Abstract

In wax plasticine activities, the researcher found a problem that the level of students' creativity was not optimal. He used teaching aids of plasticine wax as solution. This research aimed to increase the creativity of group B students aged 3-4 years. It used action research. It had 2 cycles. Each cycle had 3 meetings. Data collection techniques obtained observation and documentation. The result showed significant improvement after the students got cycle 1 and cycle 2.The data was as follows. Average class during pre-action was 43.9%. Then, it increased 53.8% in cycle 1. In cycle 2, there was a significant effect, it increased up to 80.3%. It included in the category of Very Good Development (BSB) and it considered that it was successful because it had exceeded the 70% value of the number of children in good category. Conclusion, the teaching aids of plasticine flour could increase the creativity of group B students aged 3-4 years at PPT Tunas Mulia Surabaya very well.
