Background: Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual syndrome disorder that generally occurs in women of reproductive age before or during menstruation in a form of pain and discomfort around the pelvis, lower abdomen, and back. One of dysmenorrhea factors is the lack of daily physical activity (sedentary lifestyle). Sedentary lifestyle can cause ischemia that blocks the blood flow to the reproductive organs and the production of endorphins which help in reducing pain during menstruation. Objectives: To find out the correlation between sedentary lifestyle and the dysmenorrhea intensity among midwifery students, Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University.Method: This study used a quantitative method by applying a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were 107 midwifery students. The sampling used a purposive sampling technique with the result of 85 respondents. The univariate data analysis used frequency distribution, while the bivariate analysis used Spearman Rank test with ?-value < 0.05.Result: The result showed that the majority of midwifery students of Medical Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, with low sedentary lifestyle were 52 respondents (61.2%) and the majority of the students with low dysmenorrhea intensity were 53 respondents (63%). There was a significant and strong connection between sedentary lifestyle and dysmenorrhea intensity among midwifery students (ρ-value=0.000) and (r=0.930).Conclusion: The positive value of the correlation showed a unidirectional relation between two variables where the higher sedentary lifestyle was, the higher dysmenorrhea intensity that would be experienced. There is a correlation between sedentary lifestyle and dysmenorrhea intensity.

Background: Sectio Caesarea (SC) surgery causes anxiety, postoperative pain, and feelings of fear, which causes late mobilization, resulting in complaints of flatulence. Objectives: To find out more about the effect of mobilization on the incidence of flatulence in post section caesarea patients. Method: This study used observational analytical studies, cross-sectional design, mothers who gave birth in January-February 2024, a population of 67 people; samples were taken by purposive sampling; mothers giving birth by SC (cito and elective). A sample of 55 respondents was obtained (SC ERACS 12 respondents, and non-ERACS 43 respondents).Result: The results found that there were as many as 13 respondents (81.3%) who experienced flatulence due to late mobilization. While in mothers who mobilized early, there was only 1 respondent (2.6%) who experienced flatulence. The results of statistical tests obtained a p value of 0.000, and it can be concluded that there is a difference in the proportion of flatulence of SC postoperative patients in mothers who do late mobilization and early mobilization (there is a significant effectiveness between mobilization and flatulence of SC postoperative patients). From the results of the analysis, the value of OR = 0.006 was also obtained, meaning that mothers who mobilize late have a 1 chance of experiencing postoperative flatulence compared to mothers who mobilize early. Conclusion: Early mobilization can reduce flatulence complaints in post-SC patients. Increasing education about the importance of postoperative mobilization to recover faster and avoid other complications that can arise due to postoperative SC, create interesting educational media to increase maternal knowledge.

Background: Anemia occurs in 1 in 3 toddlers in Indonesia. Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is one of the most common causes of anemia in toddlers. Iron deficiency affects the synthesis of DNA, neurotransmitters, and mitochondrial cytochrome. Lacking nutrition can cause health problems in toddlers. This is characterized by the nutritional status of toddlers classified as short or underweight. This study aims to determine the correlation between IDA and nutritional status in toddlers.Method: This research is an analytical observational study with a cross sectional approach. The population for this study were toddlers who had been treated at UNS Hospital from 2021 to 2023. The samples in this study were taken using purposive sampling, totaling 115 toddlers. The independent variable is IDA and the dependent variable is the toddler's nutritional status. Data analysis used the Spearman test with SPSS version 25.Result: This study showed 75 IDA toddlers and 40 others had normal hemoglobin. The toddlers were tested with 2 z-score indicators. The highest number of test results with the Weight/Length indicator was -2SD to 2SD (good nutrition) with a total of 87 toddlers and the Length/Age indicator was -2SD to 2SD (normal) with a total of 67 toddlers. It was analyzed using the Spearman test and a significant value of 0.235 for the Weight/Length indicator and 0.140 for the Length/Age indicator. Both indicators show results of more than 0.05 (p > 0.05).Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between iron deficiency anemia and nutritional status in toddlers at UNS Hospital.

Background: Health workers are social beings with personal perceptions and opinions about standards of sexual normality. Sexual minorities are vulnerable in accessing health services. Minority groups in Singapore are considered criminals and are not generally accepted by society and health workers such as doctors. Whereas in Taiwan, although the government has legalized same-sex marriage, minority groups still experience rejection by the community and health workers such as nurses. This is due to stigma, homophobia, and heterosexism. Objectives: Reviewing literature that discusses health workers perceptions of sexual minorities in providing health services. Methods: This scoping review used the H. Arksey & L. O'Malley framework with a journal article selection process using PRISMA. The search for journal articles used the Proquest, Pubmed, Sage Pub, Wiley, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases, 21.019 articles were obtained from all databases and 3 journals were selected for analysisResults: Based on 3 selected articles with a cross-sectional study design. The results of the study revealed themes that were grouped based on the factors supporting positive attitudes and causing negative attitudes of health workers in Taiwan and Singapore towards homosexuality. Conclusion: Health workers have two different attitudes towards sexual minority groups; health workers who have a positive attitude supported by adherence to the code of ethics, level of social tolerance, and religiosity status of health workers. And health workers who have a negative attitude caused by education level and age, religious status, and socio-demographic factors.

Background: The type of anemia that often occurs in pregnancy is caused by a deficiency of iron (Fe) which can be called iron nutritional anemia. The incidence of anemia in pregnant women at PMB Diya Amanatur Rohmah is still relatively high, namely around 60%. Compliance is obedience to fulfill the recommendations of health workers without coercion. The low compliance with iron supplementation is supported by the percentage of compliance carried out by previous researchers. Of the 43 respondents who complied with consuming Fe tablets, there were 69.8% of respondents. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between adherence to consuming Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women. This research uses quantitative research methods. Method: This cross-sectional study involved pregnant women receiving care at BPM Diya Amanatur Rohmah, Kesamben, Jombang. A total of 34 respondents were selected through purposive sampling between January 8 and 30, 2023. Data collection was conducted using a compliance questionnaire, and analysis was performed using the chi-square test. Results: The results of the study used the chi-square test and obtained p-value = 0.000. Because the p-value < α (0.05), there is a relationship between adherence to consuming Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant womenConclusion: Health workers can provide education about anemia by giving a health education about the benefits of Fe tablets and the importance of being obedient to consuming Fe

Background: Bronchopneumonia, one of the variants of pneumonia that commonly affects the bronchi and alveoli, especially in toddlers, is often caused by exposure to cigarette smoke in the surrounding environment. In 2019, there were 2,157 cases of bronchopneumonia in toddlers in Aceh Province. The presence of family members who smoke increases the risk of bronchopneumonia in toddlers because cigarette smoke can disrupt lung defense mechanisms. This research aims to determine the influence of family members' smoking behavior on the incidence of bronchopneumonia in toddlers in the pediatric ward of RSUD dr. H. Yuliddin Away Tapaktuan, South Aceh. Methods: This research design is quantitative with a cross-sectional study approach. The study population consisted of 71 toddlers, with 41 respondents selected as samples using purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted from February 7 to 15, 2024, using interview instruments and examination sheets to assess bronchopneumonia criteria. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test. Results: The research findings indicate that the average family members of toddlers who smoked the most were the toddlers' parents, with a percentage of 56%, and smoking habits indoors reached 68.3%, while the proximity of smokers to toddlers reached 90.2%. The chi-square test analysis showed the influence of family members' smoking behavior on the incidence of bronchopneumonia in toddlers, with a p-value of 0.007 (< α = 0.05).Conclusion: The smoking behavior of family members can cause respiratory disorders in toddlers and thus increasing the risk of bronchopneumonia
