Abstract

Karsinoma nasofaring merupakan keganasan pada kepala dan leher yang terletak di nasofaring. Penyakit ini ditandai oleh serangkaian fitur geografis, etiologis dan biologis yang unik yang berbeda dari kanker kepala dan leher lainnya. Lanskap molekuler kanker nasofaring ditentukan oleh serangkaian variasi epigenetik genetik dan familial dan somatik, yang sebagian besar kanker nasofaring bercampur dengan infeksi virus Epstein-Barr (EBV) laten menghasilkan fenotipe ganas. Ada beberapa cara untuk mengobati kanker nasofaring, salah satunya adalah radioterapi. Penelitian ini akan membentuk model matematis empat persamaan diferensial biasa dengan empat variabel. Analisis stabilitas dalam penelitian ini adalah mempelajari suatu sistem dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kestabilan titik-titik kesetimbangan pada masing-masing komponen titik kesetimbangan dalam model, sehingga dapat diketahui kapan komponenn titik-titik ekuibrium dari populasi sel laten, populasi sel yang terinfeksi, populasi invasif karsinoma, dan konsentrasi Radioterapi mencapai titik penyembuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua titik kesetimbangan yaitu titik kesetimbangan bebas penyakit dengan dan titik ekuilibrium endemik untuk kanker nasofaring dengan memberikan dosis tertentu.

Abstract

Violence against women is one of the cases that often gets attention and news in various mass media and electronic media today. In Komnas Perempuan's Annual Records, there were 406,178 cases of violence against women reported and handled throughout 2018. This number increased compared to the previous year's 348,466 cases. This study was conducted to try to group 35 districts/cities in Central Java into 3 clusters based on the number of women (age 18+) victims of violence. Grouping is done using the k-means cluster method. The regencies/cities in Central Java are grouped into 3 clusters, namely: cluster 1 there is 1 Regency/City with a high number of women (age 18+) victims of violence, cluster 2 there are 4 Regency/City with a high number of victims of violence. female (age 18+) victims of violence. moderate, and cluster 3 there are 30 districts/cities with a low number of women (age 18+) victims of violence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking and mathematical communication skills Algebra material TIMSS type of question. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were taken by 3 students each with high, medium and low math abilities in class VIII of SMPN 1 Jepara 2021/2022. Data was collected by means of critical thinking tests, mathematical communication, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The technique of checking the validity of the data is using the triangulation method. Critical thinking analysis, 1 student with high mathematical ability who fulfills all indicators while the other 2 students only meet 2 critical thinking indicators. Students with moderate mathematical ability 3 students who are only able to fulfill 1 indicator of critical thinking. Students with low mathematical abilities, 1 student who is only able to fulfill 1 indicator while the other 2 students are not able to fulfill all critical thinking indicators. For mathematical communication, students with high mathematical ability met 5 indicators of mathematical communication, 2 students with moderate mathematical ability met 3 indicators but the indicators achieved were different while 1 other student met 4 indicators of mathematical communication. 2 students with low mathematical ability met 1 indicator and 1 other student was not able to fulfill all mathematical communication indicators.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of student’s mathematical communication and the instructional package used has not provided opportunities for students to construct student’s creative ideas in understanding concepts and discovering principles. This research aims to obtain a guided discovery-based mathematics instructional package to improve mathematical communication of VIII grade junior high school students that is valid and practical. The instructional package developed is the lesson plans and student worksheets. This type of research is research and development. The development model used in this research is the Plomp model, which consists of 3 phases, namely the preliminary research phase, the development or prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. In the preliminary research phase, the analysis required for the development of guided discovery-based instructional package was carried out. In the development or prototyping phase, the design of guided discovery-based mathematics instructional package was carried out by paying attention to aspects of the feasibility of content and presentation, language, and graphics. In the development or prototyping, formative evaluation was carried out, namely self-evaluation, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. In the assessment phase, it was carried out by giving a practicality test questionnaire based on guided discovery to mathematics teachers and VIII grade students. The test subjects in this study were students of VIII.2 grade of SMPN 12 Padang in the academic year 2020/2021. The instruments used in the preliminary research phase were observation sheets, interview guides with teachers, and student questionnaires. The validity instruments were the self-evaluation sheet and the lesson plans and student worksheets validation sheet. The practical instruments were observation sheets of lesson plans, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The results of the analysis of the data from the lesson plans and student worksheets validation sheets show that the guided discovery-based mathematics instructional package developed is valid in terms of content and presentation, language, and graphics according to the expert judgment. Guided discovery-based mathematics instructional package are practical in terms of ease of use and time. This was obtained based on the results of observations of the implementation of the lesson plans, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Lokasi Automatic Teller Machine Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (ATM BSI) dapat dianalisis dengan mengambil beberapa data sesuai dengan faktor pendukung yang akan digunakan. Faktor pendukung yang sesuai dianalisis dengan salah satu metode klasifikasi data mining yaitu Desicion Tree untuk menentukan lokasi strategis ATM BSI yang sudah didirikan. Desicion Tree adalah salah satu metode klasifikasi pada data mining berupa pohon keputusan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diperoleh dan menghasilkan aturan-aturan yang dapat dijadikan sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode Desicion Tree diperoleh akurasi sesuai dengan tabel confusion matrix untuk data training 100% dengan nilai AUC 1 dan data testing 100% dengan nilai AUC 1 dengan aturan pohon keputusan berdasarkan variabel jumlah penduduk dan jarak ATM ke SPBU. Hasil akurasi menunjukkan sangat baik dan akurat serta model Desicion Tree mampu memprediksi lokasi strategis dan tidak strategis berdasarkan data lokasi yang digunakan. Kata Kunci: Lokasi strategis, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), Metode Desicion Tree.

Abstract

Least Square Method is one of methods for estimating of parameters of regression model. Model of least square methods is not valid if there are some disobeydiance in classical assumptions, for example, there are outliers. To resolve the problem, robust regression method is usually used. The method is used because it can detect the outliers and give stable results. In this research, data used is data for human development index of districts in Central Java from 2019 to 2020. Estimation for robust regression method chosen is estimation-M and estimation-s with Tukey Bisquare as a weight function. Criterions for choosing the best model are based on adjusted R-Squared value and mean square error (MSE). The result shows that robust regression model with estimation-M is a better model since it has adjusted R-Squared value tending to one and the least MSE.

Abstract

The Rastrigin function is a multimodal function. It is difficult to find a global minimum of the function because it has many local minimums. So, we need an effective and efficient algorithm to find a solution to the global minimum of the function without being trapped by the local minimum. The flower pollination algorithm is a metaheuristic algorithm, it is expected to be capable of solving multimodal function optimization problems. In this study flower pollination algorithm is used to find the global minimum of the Rastrigin function of two variables with MATLAB. The Rastrigin function of two variables is used as objective function for the flower pollination algorithm. The parameters are divided into three configurations based on the difference amount of pollen gamets, the probability switch, and the search domain, with two different iterations 300 and 1500. In order, to get the best results each configuration is running for 10 times. The best results from the flower pollination algorithm are obtained from the first configuration and 1500 iterations

Abstract

In this paper, we study about the problem of stationary infiltration on several types of homogeneous soil from a single trapezoidal channel. A governing equation in this problem is in the form of a nonlinear differential equation and is called the Richards’ equation. The equation can be solved more easily by transforming it into a modified Helmholtz equation. In this study, Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Method (DRBEM) was used to solve the modified Helmholtz equation numerically. Then, using the obtained solution, the numerical values of the Matric Flux Potential (MFP) for each soil type were computed and then compared.

Abstract

The use of optimal intervention strategies to prevent the spread of Nipah virus (NiV) by applying optimal control approaches is discussed in this article. To begin, we developed a dynamic model of NiV infection as well as three control strategies: public awareness, treatment, and quarantine. The study's goal was to lower the number of affected patients while lowering the three control costs. The Pontryagin maximum concept will be used to characterize optimal control, followed by numerical simulations using the Runge Kutta method of order 4. The simulation findings suggest that the optimal control technique is effective in reducing the appropriate cost of infected individuals while also providing three ideal controls. Early control measures can also effectively prevent the spread of the Nipah virus, according to numerical simulations

Abstract

Hill Cipher is a symmetric cryptographic algorithm that can be used to encrypt and decrypt. Hill Cipher has several advantages including the key used to encrypt and decrypt is a square matrix of size n x n which has a multiplicative inverse because the inverse is the key used to decrypt. This study discusses the design of encryption and decryption program using with Java. The resulting program is capable of encrypting and decrypting with key 2 x 2, 3 x 3 , and 4 x 4.
