Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of different concentration of Spirulina platensis supplementation on artificial feed for zebrafish (Danio rerio) to increase growth performance and immunity from environmental pressure. The experimental research was carried out from October until November 2020. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of S. platensis different concentration supplementation on artificial feed for zebrafish (Danio rerio) to increase growth performance and immunity from environmental pressure. The experimental research was carried out from October 2020 until November 2020 at Aquaculture Laboratory, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Serang, Banten. This research used a complete randomized design (CRD) consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Control was commercial pellet which no S. platensis enriched (A), pellet enriched with 3% of S.platensis (B), pellet enriched with 6% of  S. platensis(C), and last treatment were pellet enriched with 9% of  S.platensis (D). The results showed that treatment C was the best dosage of S. platensis for zebrafish rearing for 40 days both growth and immunity performance. Absolute length, Specific growth rate of length, Absolute weight, Specific growth rate of weight were significantly different, but survival rate were not significantly different which were 0.646±0.112g, 0.714±0.10g, 0.102±0.020%, 1.422±0.215%, 100% respectively. Immunity performance was shown by the stress test at low pH. It was also significantly different when exposed to pH at 5 ppt among the treatment. Treatment C was the highest survival rate which was 63.33±5.77% after stress test at low pH.

Abstract

This Research aim to know technically about effort management spinach farming evaluated from technical aspect in Abumbun Jaya Village Sungai Tabuk Subdistrict  Banjarbaru City South Kalimantan Province  and to know  about cost, acceptance, revenue and spinach farming Feasibility.  Pursuant to result of seen from technical management spinach farming  still relative modestly, this seen from farm processing until the conservancy. Production obtained from 25 spinach farmer  responder with wide mean equal to 352.236,45kg/ farmer. Productivity 1.030,64kg. Total  Revenue with mean Rp. 5.668.520 per farmer. RCR Value spinach farming 1.67 competent so that to be feasible (RCR >1).

Abstract

Guava leaves can be used as a natural preservative in quail carcass because they contain antimicrobial compounds such as flavonoid and tannin. This study studied the effect of using guava leaves infusion on quail carcass on the total bacteria, Enterobacteriaceae, and early spoilage.  The research used an experimental method with a completely randomized design, 3 treatments of guava leaves infusion concentration, namely P1 = 25%, P2 = 50%. And P3 = 75%, each treatment was repeated 6 times.  The application of infusion to quail carcass was carried out by immersion for 15 minutes.  Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Turkey’s test.  The results showed that the total bacteria and Enterobacteriaceae before immersion were 3.80 x 107 cfu/g and 1.90 x 104 cfu/g, respectively.  Soaking quail carcass in guava leaves infusion was able to reduce the total bacteria and Enterobacteriaceae to 72.15% and 78.50%, respectively.  The early spoilage was inversely proportional to the total bacteria and Enterobacteriaceae resulted in longer shelf life.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the fertility variable that is an obstacle in Bilah Hulu Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Regency by evaluating the status of soil fertility and assessing alternative management in accordance with the status of soil fertility found in the Center of the People's Palm Oil Plantation, N Satu Aek Nabara Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency with a height of ± 80 meters above sea level. This research is a phenomenological qualitative descriptive study with a land survey and is supported by a qualitative laboratory analysis. Soil sampling is carried out in the survey area sequentially based on where the estimated nature of the soil is different from the purposive random sampling method, so the results of the soil analysis obtained are expected to reflect the true value. 60 cm and recording the coordinates using global Positioning System. Whereas soil management information is obtained by direct field observation and in-depth interviews with farmers in a snow ball aiming to obtain complete information from farmers. Soil chemical properties analyzed in C-organic laboratory, CEC, Base Saturation. To determine the chemical properties of the soil with certain criteria that have been determined. Based on Technical Instructions for Evaluating Soil Fertility. Soil fertility parameters that become obstacles in the status of soil fertility in N Satu Aek Nabara Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency are low soil organic matter content and very low soil fertility. The direction of management of soil fertility for sloping land units in the lower, palm, and peak areas of palm oil is in the form of adding organic matter with compost and fertilizer and inorganic substances in accordance with recommendations to improve soil fertility status.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair FPUKT-1 terhadap hasil tanaman cabai besar var. Darmais F1. Penelitian disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan analisis faktorial perlakuan pupuk organik cair FPUKT-1 terdiri dari 8 taraf dan diulang sebanyak tiga kali yang terdiri dari p0 = (kontrol), p1 = (20 ml L-1 air), p2 = (40 ml L-1 air), p3 = (60 ml L-1 air), p4 = (80 ml L-1 air), p5 = (100 ml L-1 air), p6 = (120 ml L-1 air), p7 = (140 ml L-1 air). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  pemberian pupuk organik cair FPUKT-1 berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rata-rata umur tanaman berbunga dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah pertanaman, serta berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap rata-rata hasil buah pertanaman dan hasil buah segar  perhektar. Hasil buah segar perhektar tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan p6 (120 ml L-1 air) dengan rata-rata yaitu 4,45 t ha-1, sedangkan yang terendah di peroleh pada perlakuan p0 (kontrol) dengan rata-rata 2,18 t ha-1.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know, level of labor efficiency of rice farm effort. A survey with an observation technique was used as a method, where farmers follow the example of taken at random modestly as much as 29 farmers. Result of research obtained by the story, level of productivity equal to  2.081,44 kg/ha, and acceptance equal to Rp 16.651.538,46 /ha. Distribution of external  labour family( TKLK)  88,73  % and family labour ( TKDK)  11,27  % from totalizing the labour effusing. while the allocation for labor cost equals to75,85  % to total cost representing a group of biggest expense rice. Count efficiency of labor from the facet of labor productivity obtained value17,18 kg/HKO, from facet labor Productivity Index Obtained Rp 84.046,71  /HKO and from wide facet equal to 82,54  m2/HKO.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to the effect of row spacing on the growth of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) Adan Krayan; and to find row spacing for better growth of upland rice Adan Krayan.The research carried out from July to October 2020 in Liang Bua Village,  Krayan Barat su-district, Nunukan Regency.The research used Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with four treatment of row spacing and five replications namely: no uniform as control (p0), 30 cm x 30 cm (p1), 40 cm x 40 cm (p2), and 50 cm x 50 cm (p3).   The result of the research revealed that : (1) row spacing treatment affected significantly to very significantly on the plant height, number of leaf and number of a tiller at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting, and (2) the best of the growth was produced in 40 cm x 40 cm.

Abstract

Land use change indirectly affects soil biological fertility. Changes in forest land use into land use have an impact on the impact of soil organic matter which will affect the microorganism population. Microorganisms and carbon in general are more sensitive to changes in land use. Microorganism biomass changes more rapidly after land use changes. The research objective was to detect soil fungi and bacteria on different land uses, namely mixed forest, seasonal crop farming, and former coal mining land. This research will be conducted for 1 (one) fiscal year. This research includes the following stages: soil survey for sampling, and bacterial and fungal surveys conducted in the laboratory. The research method for observing soil properties is random sampling of soil at each land use, namely seasonal crop land, mixed garden land, secondary forest, and former coal mining land. Random sampling of soil by means of a composite. Composite soil samples were taken from 5 sub-samples at a depth of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm, in order to obtain one composite sample for each different land use and soil depth. The results showed that the fungi found were Mucor and Trichoderma with the highest total fungal population of 3.2 x 104 Cfu / gr found in seasonal crop fields with a depth of 30-60 cm. The bacteria found were from the Genus Azotobacteraceae with the highest total population of 1.5 x 105 Cfu / gr found in seasonal plantations and secondary forest with a depth of 30-60 cm.

Abstract

Tanaman Adaptif Untuk Reklamasi Lahan Bekas Tambang (Studi Kasus Reklamasi Lahan Bekas Tambang PT. Binuang Mitra Bersama Blok Dua, Kab. Tapin, Kalsel); Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan karakteristik tanaman yang efektif dan adaptif serta mengetahui jenis tanaman yang cocok untuk reklamasi lahan bekas tambang. Metode Penelitian adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dan data diperoleh dengan melakukan participant obsevation. Karakteristik tanaman yang adaptif dan sesuai dengan rekomendasi untuk ditanam di lahan bekas tambang adalah tanaman berkayu yang tidak berbuah, memiliki pertumbuhan yang cepat dan dapat sintas di lahan marginal. Terdapat 20 jenis tanaman yang dibudidayakan di kebun nursery yang terbagi menjadi tiga kelompok yaitu tanaman pokok reklamasi, tanaman sisipan, dan tanaman pelengkap. Dua spesies tanaman yang menjadi tanaman pokok paling adaptif yaitu tanaman trambesi dan tanaman sengon laut.

Abstract

This study was aim to determine the different pellet feed source on the growth and survival rate of Nile tilapia. The purpose of this research was to provide information of the best feed for the growth and survival rate of Nile tilapia.Completely Randomized Design, with 3 treatments ( treatment A: community-made pellet, treatment B: commercial pellet PF500; treatment C: commercial pellet 885) and 3 replicate was used for the research. Nile tilapia with 3-4 cm length placed in nine aquariums with stocking density 6 fishes/L. Feeding treatment given twice a day at level 3 %/ body weight.  The parameters observed include growth rates, survival, and feed conversion. Supporting data was observed for water quality. Observation was carried out for 30 days.The results showed that the average weight, in treatment A was 101,66 g, treatment B was 118.33 g, and treatment C was 128.33 g. The average yield of relative growth in treatment A was 111.44%, treatment B was 134.23%, and treatment C was 135.76%. Treatment C shows the highest value, then treatment B and treatment A. The average yield of feed conversion, treatment A was 1.11; treatment B 3.21; and treatment C was 3.37. Survival rate of all treatments was 100%.
