Abstract

One of the problems experienced by farmers community fish ponds in the village of Kalirejo, Dukun Sub-district, Gresik Regency is the value of the selling price of fish that tend to be cheaper and the lack of information systems in marketing. So far, people only sell milkfish to the local dukun market and lack of innovation done in sales promotion. The community is less fond of milkfish because it has a lot of thorns, but on the side of excess milkfish has many high nutrients, especially omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids and protein content of 20. In connection with this, this activity aims to increase the selling value of milkfish in the market through training activities to pull out the fish's milkfish and diversification products. The method used is training and mentoring activities to pull out the milkfish spines to produce products that have higher selling value, this activity is done by the villagers Kalirejo especially women and housewives, as well as the surrounding community who have the desire to entrepreneurship. The result is a fish without briber can be sold to consumers or processed into new products that are more popular, such as meatballs, nugets, elephant legs and so forth. The conclusion is that unbraced banding fish has a very lucrative business opportunity with the increase of selling price if it can innovate by pulling out milkfish spines and in making a new product, so as to increase the appeal of people to consume milkfish without the need to think about the thorns that exist in the flesh of milkfish, as well as increasing the income of the fish farmers in Kalirejo Village, Dukun Sub-district, Gresik Regency.

The media used are zeloid stone, activated carbon and charcoal husk. Filtering is the process of irrigation or purification of water to produce clean water, free of odors, organic materials and inorganic materials contained therein. The media used are fibers, sand, and krikil. In addition to processing liquid waste tempe with adsorption method and filtering of liquid waste tempe can be utilized as Liquid Fertilizer Productive (PCP). Productive Liquid Fertilizer (PCP) is a way of utilizing tempe liquid waste with highorganic content to improve soil chemical properties to be better so that the productivity of the plant has increased. For materials used in the manufacture of Liquid Fertilizer is liquid waste tempe and fluid starter EM4. By using appropriate tools for liquid waste processing and utilization of tempe liquid waste into a productive Liquid Fertilizer (PCP) on an ongoing basis can create the integration of appropriate waste treatment, and environmentally friendly

Abstract

One of the factors that influence on plant development is watering. Watering is an indispensable thing in keeping and caring for the plants to thrive. In Banyuurip Village, the entrepreneurs are still doing manual methods by using a water hose that is considered to be time consuming and less efficient. Adequate water demand is one of the most important things. If this is not addressed then it will be fatal for the development of the crop itself. The results of the work program organized by the Group 6 Industrial Engineering course by implementing an ergonomic garden sprinkler application can assist entrepreneurs in shortening time and more efficiently. It is recommended that ornamental garden or gardening equipment can be applied by all entrepreneurs of ornamental plants, and also the village government should be able to conduct an in-depth review so as to provide progress and mutual benefit for both community and government

Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead of educational success. Learning will be enhanced if the teacher is able to provide fun learning and meaningful activities. However, to be a fun teacher is not an easy task to create and implement. There are so many issues that often emerge, one of them is the inability of teachers to detect learning modality as the first step in determining the appropriate learning strategies in the classroom. This misunderstanding ultimately leads to uniform learning that causes problems in learning. In addition, the lack of understanding and use of ice breaking as one way to break the ice in the class and selection of ice breaking activities in accordance with teaching materials is worth contributing. Thus, these two things are still very necessary to understand in managing the class because thesetwo things lead to pedagogic competence that must be owned by teachers according to Law no 4 of 2005. Able to understand learners, designing learning and evaluating learning outcomes. The purpose of this Workshop activity is (1) the teacher is able to detect learning modality to jump-start learners' learning potential (2) Teachers are able to master ice breaking as a trick to create a fun class. Because mastering these two things will help teachers in creating and managing the class become fun. This devotion was held at Darul Hasan Foundation in Padang Sidempuan City, followed by 50 teachers. The result of the GURAME workshop is that the participants have been able to detect learning modality, understand the application of ice breaking in the classroom as well as motivated to keep learning to be fun

Abstract

Language is a skill that insists approach and certain strategy to master it. ESA (Engaged-Study-Activate) is an approach used in learning foreign language based on the theory that the success of learning language is determined by the factor of involvement in learned language environment. Therefore, the ideal way of learning language is that it is done in the country in which the language is used as the first language. When it is difficult to be achieved, it needs the availability of artificial learning atmosphere that gives situation as if the students are in English speaking community. This training needed three main activities: involvement, study, and language-based activities. By using those three main activities, the program of English skill improvement for the teachers of Islamic Junior high school in Tugu and Ngaliyan District was held. The result of the study through guidance shows that participants’ English skills increased. Although it is not too significant, the improvement of their English skills proves that ESA approach was appropriate to be used to maximize participants’ learning achievement. Its less significance was caused by several factors, they are: learning activities (offline learning) was held in every Friday, at the time teachers had felt tired. The offline program was also only held once a week although they were facilitated with online learning program. Another important factor that must be considered is that the teachers had many other activities related to their Islamic social organization activity. However, they still had high motivation in joining the program. They also had a good commitment to learn English. This factor had good effect towards the learning achievement improvement although it is not too high

Abstract

The main objective of the Technology for the Society (IbM) is aimed at addressing the main problems faced by approximately 200 urban poor, namely: (1) The location of the residence located on the edge of the city with a distance society of about 10 km from urban areas. (2) Low economic level or low income about Rp.600.000 / month so it can not meet the basic needs and lift the economy of the surrounding community. The specific target in this IbM program is to apply Batako engine utilization technology to improve the quality and quantity of local Batako production of marginalized urban communities which originally produced only Batako blocks of about 200 seeds to 1000 seeds per day and increased concrete compressive strength. from 175 Kg / cm2 to 225 Kg / cm2, thereby increasing employment for the surrounding communities and increasing the income of business actors and partner workers. The method of implementation to solve the problems of the program partners of IbM is to increase the added value of community income through the utilization of Batako chili type which includes the stages: (a) Thesocialization of Batako IbM program; (b) Preparing social prerequisites, such as strengthening rural community groups, groups and forums as a medium to meet and solve problems faced by farmers or the poor; (c) Implementation of Batako IbM program, supported by related institutions (Dinas Cipta Karya Kabupaten Lumajang and University (Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Jember), and (d) Monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
