This study aims to produce an encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment and to find out the feasibility of the encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment developed as a biology learning resource for high school students. This study included research and development (R & D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) developed by Reiser and Mollenda in the 1990s. This research is limited only to the implementation stage (limited or small scale implementation), then limited testing is conducted to 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 2 biology teachers and 4 peer reviewers and 20 students' responses to the product developed to determine the quality/feasibility of the product. The research instrument was in the form of a check list questionnaire using a Likert scale. The design of this study uses a descriptive qualitative research design with the type of data in the form of qualitative and quantitative data to determine the quality/feasibility of the product being developed. the results showed that: encyclopedia products of biology laboratory equipment were developed with the ADDIE model. The quality/feasibility of the encyclopedia is developed based on the assessment of material experts with a percentage of 80% including the good category (B); media experts at 85.6% including the excellent category (SB); biology teachers at 91% including the excellent category (SB); peer reviewers at 86.8% including the excellent category (SB); and student responses of 87.6% included very feasible categories. Thus it can be concluded that the encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment developed having very decent quality is used as a reference for teachers in biology laboratory as well as can be used by high school students as one of the learning resources of biology.

Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan handout sistem ekskresi dengan integrasi nilai Islam pada siswa kelas XI. Pengembangan handout ini sebagai sumber belajar diharapkan mampu memberikan inovasi baru untuk memperkaya pengetahuan siswa dan mendukung bahan ajar lainnya. Serta mengembangkan ranah sikap spiritual dalam melahirkan generasi muda yang berakhlak mulia. Handout tersebut sebagai bahan ajar alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk belajar secara mandiri, sehingga mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan nilai spiritual siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model pengembangan versi ADDIE dan mengadopsi metodologi Nada Aldoobie. Handout dikembangkan dengan Microsoft Word 2013 dan Corel draw X7 Graphic Suite. Hasil penilaian kelayakan sebagai sumber belajar dengan persentase 82% dari ahli materi, 71% dari integrasi nilai Islam, 83% dari ahli media, 85% dari Guru Biologi dan 82% dari tanggapan siswa, sehingga jumlah rerata persentase sebesar 81% menunjukkan kriteria sangat layak, yang berarti handout sistem ekskresi sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

The use of instructional media is one of the teacher's efforts to create maximum teaching and learning processes. Research on the use of integrated audio media Ya Lal Wathan in this study was carried out because the media used were new and had never been used by previous studies. This study aims to compare the effect of Ya Lal Wathan's integrated audio media and power point media on the cognitive abilities of high school students on Kingdom Plantae material. The study design used the Non-equivalent Control Group Design using a purposive sampling technique. We took all of students in MAN 1 Semarang as population and 2 classes as sample. The instruments used were 20 pre-test questions and 20 post-test questions given in power point and integrated audio class. Data were analyzed by Sign Test. The result of the study showed that there was an equally significant effect between two classes. However, students taught by integrated audio got an average grade in the post-test that is higher than the control class so there is a positive tendency that integrated audio media with Ya Lal Wathan is good for application in learning. It is necessary to innovate our audio media for further research.

Qalb education (heart education) becomes one of the keys to cultivating and nurturing human characters. The focus of this research is to examine the concept of heart education from the perspective of KH. Sholeh Darat (1820-1903), the role of the heart in education, and the function of heart health in cultivating humans' characters. This research uses library research methods focusing on KH. Sholeh Darat’s Minhāju Al-Atqiyā'i fī Syarḥi Ma’rifati Al-Ażkiyā'i ilā Ṭarīqi Al-Auliyā'i using hermeneutic and historical approaches. The study found that the concept of heart education from KH. Sholeh Darat's perspective eliminates ignorance and seeks knowledge to make humans appreciate the understanding and implement it. Heart education is centered on two main things: mulāzamati al-Zikri (continuous dhikr) and mulāzamati tilāwati kitābullāh (continuous reading of the Qur'an). In addition, the physical transformation of education needs to be supported with humans' healthy and pure hearts. Heart therapies to support heart education include reading the Qur'an, emptying one's stomach, night prayers, tadharru' (pleading) at suhoor time, and mujālasah (gathering) with pious people. Lastly, noble teachers can accomplish heart education with perfect guidance (tarbiyatu al-shaykh al-mursyīd al-kāmil).

Language is a skill that insists approach and certain strategy to master it. ESA (Engaged-Study-Activate) is an approach used in learning foreign language based on the theory that the success of learning language is determined by the factor of involvement in learned language environment. Therefore, the ideal way of learning language is that it is done in the country in which the language is used as the first language. When it is difficult to be achieved, it needs the availability of artificial learning atmosphere that gives situation as if the students are in English speaking community. This training needed three main activities: involvement, study, and language-based activities. By using those three main activities, the program of English skill improvement for the teachers of Islamic Junior high school in Tugu and Ngaliyan District was held. The result of the study through guidance shows that participants’ English skills increased. Although it is not too significant, the improvement of their English skills proves that ESA approach was appropriate to be used to maximize participants’ learning achievement. Its less significance was caused by several factors, they are: learning activities (offline learning) was held in every Friday, at the time teachers had felt tired. The offline program was also only held once a week although they were facilitated with online learning program. Another important factor that must be considered is that the teachers had many other activities related to their Islamic social organization activity. However, they still had high motivation in joining the program. They also had a good commitment to learn English. This factor had good effect towards the learning achievement improvement although it is not too high

The Reformation era in Indonesia presents a political ecosystem that has an impact on the development of Nahdlatul Ulama Universities (PTNU). The development of PTNU is important to study so that there is a better understanding of the development of education in NU, which has long been known for its religious education model, both in the form of pesantren and madrasah. Specifically, this study aims to map the changes that have occurred in PTNU since the reform era in Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research using data collection including documents, interviews, and observations. This research found that there was an attempt to centralize management with the establishment of the Nahdlatul Ulama Higher Education Institution by the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU), a significant increase in the number of general study programs, and demographic changes on the PTNU campus so that it became more heterogeneous from a religious background. The conclusion of this research is that the reform era became an era of change in PTNU from the management of educational institutions on a local scale to a national scale, changes in the type of religious universities towards general universities, and changes in campus residents who were originally homogeneous to heterogeneous. The development and changing trends in PTNU are evidence of the appropriation process in PTNU which absorbs external values and is modified so that PTNU can grow and develop in line with the times.

This study aims to develop an Islamic integrated biology e-module on the excretory system material for grade XI high school to empower students' critical thinking skills. The product is developed using a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The instrument used is a questionnaire. The research subjects comprised 30 class XI IPA students from MA Darul Ulum Semarang. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and qualitative techniques. The study resulted in the development of valid e-module products, with validity criteria of 75% from material experts, 85% from Islamic integration experts, and 62.5% from media experts. Additionally, the results showed that practical e-modules were utilized with a practicality percentage of 77.94% based on responses from Biology Teachers and 86.66% from students.

Tingkat kesadaran generasi muda yang rendah terhadap urgensi pelestarian alam dan budaya serta belum adanya ketersediaan kurikulum beserta pengembangan sumber belajar khusus berbasis Unity of Sciences (UOS) berupa kajian etnobotani dan Islam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kawasan Krapyak, Pekalongan dan MAN 1 Kota Pekalongan dengan subjek penelitian tokoh dan masyarakat Krapyak serta siswa MAN 1 Kota Pekalongan. Penelitian ini berfokus dengan mengembangkan e-modul etnobotani berbasis Unity of Sciences (UOS) menggunakan power point show. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze,Design, Development, Impementation, Evaluation), tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya terbatas sampai uji kelayakan. Penilaian kelayakan e-modul menunjukkan hasil validasi materi sebesar 79%, UOS Islam sebesar 95%, UOS kearifan lokal sebesar 94%, media sebesar 90% dan uji skala kecil sebesar 88%. Dari data tersebut diambil rata-rata kelayakan e-modul sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil validasi tersebut menunjukkan korelasi pengetahuan etnobotani dengan nilai Islam. Keduanya memutus dikotomi pengetahuan yang terjadi di kehidupan.
