<![CDATA[Glasses / mugs and plates have a function as tableware, it also has a function as souvenirs that we can adjust to the desired character and look attractive, so that it has high value to sell. The method used to make souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates is by means of a screen printing technique with digital printing. Screen printing techniques with digital printing on glasses / mugs and plates are done by a press machine, so that they can be decorated by using names, images according to the desired order. The development of souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates in Jember is still rarely found. It can be proved, in each shop there are only a few which sell it, but are not produced by themselves. This has become an attractive and beneficial business opportunity for the economic development of the Handycraft Group and the Sekar Kartini Women's Cooperative members whose businesses have been declining recently. Thus, the specific target to be achieved is the establishment of a business unit for souvenirs of character glasses / mugs and plates by using appropriate technology, namely screen-printing presses and digital printing, and marketing management with the help of information technology (social media).]]>

<![CDATA[Madura Island besides producing salt, it turns out that it is also the producer of the craft written batik. One of the regions that have batik-producing SMEs is in Tanjung Bumi Bangkalan Madura District. In Tanjung Bumi Subdistrict there are very many batik craftsmen with a distinctive bird motif. However, although there are many batik SMEs, there are also many craftsmen who close their businesses due to having several problems in their business. One of the problems is not having a good marketing concept and not being able to utilize information technology through the internet in marketing activities. This can be seen from the sales activities that still rely on shops and also just waiting for suppliers or buyers from outside the city such as from Surabaya. With the competition of batik sales outside the city, such as Surabaya, causing the number of buyers from Surabaya is currently decreasing. The decline finally drastically impacted the decline in sales of Tanjung Bumi written batik. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and insight into designing 4P marketing mix concepts (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and determining STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) and making SME partners begin to take advantage of internet technology for online advertising. The method used in this activity is to train to create marketing concepts and train the use of online media and social media to advertise. <![CDATA[Home Industry “Sale pisang” Banyuwangi UD. Della Sale is one of the many UMKM producers of Banyuwangi souvenirs. The home industry faces several problems, namely (1) the shelf life of the fried “sale pisang” product is relatively short because of draining oil process is not maximal. (2) Product marketing is still limited. Maharani Community seeks to increase the income of its assisted people by cooperating with UD. Della Sale and acts as a distributor of “sale pisang” products. However, members of the Maharani Community do not have the knowledge and skills of financial management and marketing, so it makes difficult to develop. Therefore, this activity aims to improve the quality of production and increase the demand for “sale pisang” products through Supply Chan Management to face competition in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA). In this PKM activity, there are 3 (three) activities with the following objectives: The first activity aims to provide appropriate technology in the form of Spinner machines for draining oil to prevent changes in taste and quality of “sale pisang”. And the packaging machine is a vacuum sealer to make the product more durable and long lasting. The second activity is designing e-commerce websites and providing knowledge and assistance for product marketing. The third activity aims to provide knowledge about financial management by providing financial management materials with UMKM accounting standards.]]>

<![CDATA[During the rainy season traditional production activities for sale and banana chips cannot be done because the processed raw material for bananas must be dried in the sun for three consecutive days so that the quality is good. This condition is experienced by mother’s wife of former employees of layoffs PT Kertas Leces Faizzah Probolinggo in SMEs, especially at the height of the rainy season in December and January. The weather forecast for BMKG in Probolinggo Regency in January 2017 shows high rainfall of more than 400 mm lasted until March. Therefore, this activity aims to apply a vacuum frying frying machine so that partners can still produce with good quality when it is rainy or cloudy. Vacuum frying can fry the raw material of wet bananas into high quality products and banana chips. The advantages of the vacuum frying method are non-charred products, the nutrient content does not disappear, the taste and aroma according to the original ingredients, crisp, do not need preservatives and artificial flavor enhancers. Whereas the Surya Makmur Farmer Group faces the problem of the price of slash and the location of banana plants below the market price. So that the specific target to be achieved is the strengthening of business units providing processed sale and banana chips with sustainable production and managed by financial management and retail-based marketing by IKM Faizzat, as well as the availability of banana supply at market prices from farmers in the Farmers' Group. The solution provided by the Implementing Team is in the form of machine procurement and testing, production training and mentoring, and socialization. The procurement and testing of vacuum frying machines as frying machines, and spinner machines as oil residues are left over in sale products and banana chips. The training activity begins with the production of standard operating procedures, production training and machine maintenance documents. Socialization activities are given to partners so that they can be continued in the production of various banana processed products independent.]]>

<![CDATA[The NU PLUS vocational school (SMK) located in Sidoarjo Regency as a forum for nation generation, always applies various methods and development of learning media to answer the demands of the era to produce high-quality human resources, the problem facing this school is that the ability of teachers is still lacking in analyzing research data using statistical tests. Therefore, it is necessary to increase human resources concerning research through data analysis training. One way to help teach teachers in conducting research is to provide training in research data analysis using SPSS software. SPSS software is a software that can help process research data making it easier for researchers to analyze the data. This training aims to solve the problems faced by Sidoarjo Vocational High School teachers as partners, by providing training and mentoring methods of data analysis which include: 1) Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistics; 2) Methods of Quantitative data analysis using parametric statistics; 3) Qualitative Data Analysis Method using non-parametric statistics; 4) Research Methods, Classroom Action Research. The training design above is expected to improve some of the abilities and skills of the Sidoarjo Vocational High School teachers, including the following: 1) Processing research data using descriptive statistics; 2) Quantitative data processing using parametric statistics; 3) Processing of qualitative data using non-parametric statistics; 4) Mastering Research methods with Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches; 5) Able to carry out Classroom Action Research. The expected target of the community service activities in Sidoarjo Plus Vocational School includes: 1) Increased understanding, ability, and skills in analyzing data using descriptive statistics; 2) Increasing understanding, ability and skills in analyzing quantitative data by utilizing various kinds of parametric statistical tests that are tailored to the problem; 3) Improve understanding, ability and skills in analyzing qualitative data by utilizing various kinds of non-parametric statistical tests that are tailored to the problem; 4) Training manual; 5) Certificates and posters; 6) Scientific Publication in the Journal]]>

<![CDATA[Most of the livelihoods of Sukodono Village’s people, Pujer District, Bondowoso Regency are farming; various kinds of agricultural products produced by the residents of Sukodono Village are white AC sweet potato. But, the yield of many white AC sweet potatoes which is not sold well causes decays and makes farmers give up. When I was a field supervisor of KKN Unmuh Jember, the KKN students and I promoted the Nafiah Posdaya which had once been formed. With the hope to overcome the problem of the white AC sweet potato farmers, namely by processing white AC sweet potato into chips and cupcakes manually. Because of the limited manual equipment, the white AC sweet potato used for the basic ingredients of chips and cupcakes is still in small quantities. Also, chips which are produced manually are not crunchy; contain lots of oil, long time production process and small amount of production. To overcome this, product innovation needs to be done by making white ac sweet potato chips with vacuum frying and spinner technology as well as making white ac sweet potato cupcakes with an electric mixer to mix dough and oven it. The problem is those partners do not have the knowledge, skills and capital to develop and be innovation product white ac sweet potato. There are four main activities in the Community Partnership Program dedication activities that are carried out by providing material training and practicing (1) implementing vacuum frying and spinner machines to make white AC sweet potato chips (2) packing with beautiful package (3) making cupcake with basic ingredients from white AC sweet potato (4) marketing model based on E-commerce Web-based Information Technology. The results of this training are crispy white AC sweet potato chips with a distinctive sweet potato taste because the slices are thicker than the other chips and delicious white ac sweet potato cupcake with attractive toping is a promising market opportunity. It is expected that the Community Partnership Program activities can improve the welfare of partners.]]>

<![CDATA[The more rapid growth of technology allows humans to work effectively and efficiently. Technology proves the way humans change patterns of significant social change, from those that initially used human power to machines. The way humans use machines is inseparable from the ways and techniques of its use which are effective and efficient. One of the technologies used is the technology of crop cultivation without using soil as a planting medium. The technology introduced is hydroponics. Hydroponics as a way of farming is an approach that has several advantages, namely the use of agricultural land that is not extensive, and the system is not too complicated. The introduction of this technology aims to provide insight and knowledge to the public about the technology of crop cultivation in addition to conventional farming systems. This activity was carried out in Rayung gumuk Village, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency. The hydroponic system that we introduce is the NFT hydroponic system (Nutrient Film Technique). The goal is because the hydroponic system is easily applied and has several significant advantages. The first method of implementation is socialization.This is done to find out the extent to which people's insights and knowledge about hydroponics and the interests and interests of the community towards hydroponic using the NFT system. Moreover, the second is training. It aims to provide techniques and methods for assembling NFT hydroponic installations. From the results of our activities, the community's response to hydroponics is still minimal because some of them still consider hydroponic use too costly and their disinterest in agriculture.]]>

<![CDATA[Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have an important role in the economy of a country, including in Indonesia. Although SMEs have contributed to economic growth, in their development there have been various problems. The problem faced by SMEs in Gresik Regency is that they do not understand the use of preservatives food and beverage that are safe for health and limited market access. In solving the problems faced by these SMEs, the community service team transferred knowledge and technology through workshops and mentoring. Workshop material includes methods of processing and preserving food, types of natural preservatives, and ways to promote, market, and sell products through online marketing media (e-commerce). While mentoring was carried out after the workshop was completed. With the completion of community service activities, it is expected that SMEs can increase product durability and product quality by using natural preservatives that are safe for health, and SMEs are able to run and manage e-commerce applications that have been developed.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the quality of learning English using the media of clamshell waste in Asem Manis Hamlet, Ngawen Village, sub-district Sidayu, Gresik.Classroom learning must be done optimally, but the teaching staff still cannot be maximally applied, if this can be maximized, then this can improve the quality of educational products that have outcomings for stakeholders. Because of its relevance, it is essential for the teacher to make breakthroughs in learning, one of which is the creativity of the teacher to make learning media by using waste that is around the environment. Participants were grade 3 students of MI Al-Fath, totaling 11 people. This research method uses the instrument pre-test, and post-test conducted to retrieve data. Then using the learning by doing method that is applied in the classroom, students not only listen to the teacher speak but also practice it in the classroom. Although it looks, shy students can do these activities well The results show that participants were happy to use Edushell's media in their learning. The results of the research given by the authors are the application of the media can improve the English language skills of students and be able to provide variations in indoor learning that are not only fixed on the Package Books and Student Worksheets (LKS). <![CDATA[The newest students in university often have difficulty with pronunciation in English. This article is based on the study on students’ pronunciation of Wijaya putra Surabaya University in the first semester. The purpose of this study is to improve the sudents’ pronunciation achievement by using Joox as a media. The subjects were 15 students of wijaya Putra University in the first semester. The data of the study were collected by interview, observation and test. The design of this study was classroom action research which consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. In analyzing the data, researcher compared the result of all instruments (interview, observation and test) and concluded it. The result showed that Jooox had positive effect to improve students’ pronunciation achievement.]]>
