Abstract

PT Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (DPS) is one of several strategic BUMN in marine field. With BUMN restructurisation and efficiency program from Government, PT DPS is liable to improve its production system efficiency. Many problems that faced by PT DPS to improve its production system efficiency are : (1)There is waste work shop such as work in process, waiting time, and flow time at fabrication process in PT DPS, (2) Because waste work shop is still big, shop production process efficiency has not reached maximally yet, (3)Layout and facilities of PT DPS today is already suitable with concept of Product Oriented Work Breakdown Structure (PBWS), but it is limited at simple construction form. At this research, there is ship production process design with Process Lane Construction and Zone Outfitting method or it is known with Group Technology Layout (Manufacturing Cell System) term in order to solve inefficiency problem at ship production process in PT DPS. Design process is performed by integrating Simulation method, Taguchi, Response Surface Methodology, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Simulation method is used to model designed manufacturing cell system, meanwhile Taguchi method and Response Surface Methodology are used for experiment and optimization at manufacturing system simulation model. In order to measure the performanceof designed manufacturing cell system, multivariate measurement method is used, that is by measuring work in process, waiting time, and flow time with smaller the better criteria. Multi response becomes single response by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. From research result with Taguchi Method and Response Surface Methodology know that in fabrication stage optimal layout is second tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lot size is 16 tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in subassembly stage optimal layout is first tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lotsize is 10 tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in assembly stage optimal layout is first tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lotsize is 6tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in erection stage optimal layout is second tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lot size is 6 tons, optimal loading interval is 480 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %.

Abstract

Penerimaan mahasiswa baru Universitas WR. Supratman Surabaya masih menggunakan cara manual dan melalui proses yang memakan waktu. Hal ini terkadang masih terdapat kekurangan-kekurangan, seperti sering terjadinya duplikasi data, keterlambatan laporan, dll. Oleh karena itu, perlu Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen penerimaan mahasiswa baru Universitas WR. Supratman Surabaya yang berguna meningkatkan mutu pelayanan dan pengolahan data yang lebih baik serta memiliki keakuratan yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini menggambarkan prosedur Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru pada Universitas WR. Supratman Surabaya, kemudian menentukan file-file database sampai atribut-atribut yang diperlukan pada sistem tersebut. Kemudian membuat suatu program pengolahan datadengan mempergunakan bahasa Visual Foxpro 6.0 sebagai fasilitas penunjang Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru pada Universitas WR. Supratman Surabaya.

Abstract

Alat potong bahan baku keripik pisang modifikasi yang merupakan hasil kreasi dari kondisi alat potong yang digunakan saat ini masih sederhana, kurang efisien dan kurang efektif. Alat yang berfungsi sebagai pemotong adalah berupa alat potong yang biasa digunakan untuk mengolah bahan – bahan yang akan dimasak menjadi sayur. Metode rekayasa nilai digunakan sebagai metode untuk memilih satu alternatif modifikasi pada alat potong modifikasi dan menganalisanya melalui tahapan lima rencana kerja. Pada tahap analisa dipilih 3 alternatif modifikasi dari perbaikan mesin ditambah 1 desain awal, dimana desain awal digunakan sebagai patokan dalam penilaian performansi. Hasil penentuan nilai pada tahap pengembangan diperoleh bahwa alternatif modifikasi ke 1 mempunyai nilai 0.79 dengan performansi 172.072 dengan memberikan keuntungan yaitu : proses pemotongan lebih cepat, perawatan mudah, hasilpotongan relatif bersih dan rapi, langkah potong lancar dan ringan, keselamatan operator lebih baik

Abstract

PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) merupakan salah satu BUMN strategis yang mempunyai core business di bidang ship building, ship repair, ship conversion dan sudah berstandart internasional serta berstandart ISO 9001 sejak 1997.Dalam menghadapi pesatnya permintaan dan kebutuhan sektor bangunan kapal baru, guna memperkuat armada kapal nasional dan perekonomian nasional dimasa mendatang, maka PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya berencana membangun galangan kapal baru di daerah Lamongan, tepatnya di daerah pantai Brondong Lamongan. Rencana pembangunan galangan di daerah pantai Brondong Lamongan digunakan untuk membangun kapal baru, terutama untuk jenis kapal tanker karena kedalaman lautnya mencapai sekitar 8 meter hingga 10 meter. Sementara galangan di Tanjung Perak Surabaya akan diprioritaskan untuk reparasi kapal karena kedalaman laut yang terbatas.Perencanaan tata letak fasilitas yang baik dalam proses pembangunan galangan kapal tersebut sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu program pemerintah dalam meningkatkan efisiensi secara keseluruhan dan pengendalian manajemen yang lebih baik. Banyak metode-metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan perencanaan tata letak dan fasilitas. Salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode fixed position layout dan untuk metode perpindahan material menggunakan metode straight line.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah (PPPUD) ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang telah dilaksanakan tahun 2019. Dari observasi dan wawancara, teridentifikasi masalah pada 3 bidang, yaitu Produksi, Manajemen, dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Berbagai kegiatan dirancang untuk tujuan: 1) peningkatan hasil produksi; 2) memiliki merek dagang resmi dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan; 3) peningkatan keahlian dan kompetensi SDM di bidang produksi dan manajeman; 4) teridentifikasinya lebih banyak motif khas Sekardangan; 5) lebih dikenalnya batik tulis Sekardangan; 6) peningkatan daya saing pengrajin; 7) eksistensi batik tulis Sekardangan; 8) mendukung implementasi program OVOP yang telah ditetapkan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan, meliputi; 1) observasi dan wawancara; 2) identifikasi masalah, 3) pengambilan data: FGD dengan para ahli di bidangnya; 4) mendesain ulang (inovasi) beberapa peralatan membatik, 5) membuat modul pelatihan, 6) pelatihan dan pendampingan; 7) pembuatan laporan hasil pelatihan, laporan kemajuan, laporan akhir dan laporan keuangan, 8) publikasi media massa online; 10) Youtube; 11) pembuatan artikel jurnal nasional ber-ISSN; 12) pendaftaran HKI; 13) pembuatan buku referensi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah terwujudnya semua target kegiatan, terjalin kerja sama yang baik dan berkelanjutan serta peningkatan daya saing batik tulis sebagai produk unggulan daerah.Abstract: The Regional Superior Product Development Program (PPPUD) is a continuation of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which has been implemented in 2019. From observations and interviews, identified problems in 3 areas, namely Production, Management, and Human Resources (HR). Various activities are designed for the purpose of: 1) increased production; 2) has an official trademark from the Industry and Trade Office; 3) increased expertise and competence of human resources in the field of production and management; 4) identification of more typical motifs Sekardangan; 5) better known Sekardangan batik; 6) increasing the competitiveness of craftsmen; 7) the existence of Sekardangan handmade batik; 8) supports the implementation of predetermined OVOP programs. Methods of carrying out activities, including; 1) observation and interview; 2) identification of problems, 3) data collection: FGD with experts in their fields; 4) redesigning (innovation) some batik equipment; 5) making training modules; 6) training and mentoring; 7) making training report, progress report, final report and financial report; 8) online mass media publication; 10) Youtube; 11) preparation of ISSN national journal articles; 12) registration of IPR; 13) making reference books. The results of the implementation of the activities are the realization of all activity targets, good and sustainable cooperation established as well as increasing the competitiveness of written batik as a regional superior product.

Abstract

Family income can be added through a manufacture industry e.g. Kripik Tempe Geti. The purpose of this article is to analyze the process of Kripik Tempe Geti business advisability and the role of Kripik Tempe Geti industry in the territory economy. This research was held in Ngawi on 2007. The collecting data is done by intensive interview to the Kri[pik Tempe Geti industry. The data collected was analyzed in a descriptive quantitative. The analysis shows that Keripik Tempe Geti industry has a big chance to be expanded. The process of Kripik Tempe Geti is suitable done by score Benefit/Cost at 0.62 ratio. As seen from the growth of territory economy, Kripik Tempe Geti industry has given working chance for the people in Ngawi, just like from the supplying of the row material, production process, or from the marketing side. The increase of the household income from Kripik Tempe Geti industry reach out at 2,064,375 Rupiahs per months, besides it also can increase the income of the market doer such as motorcycle driver (ojek) or food small shop.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have an important role in the economy of a country, including in Indonesia. Although SMEs have contributed to economic growth, in their development there have been various problems. The problem faced by SMEs in Gresik Regency is that they do not understand the use of preservatives food and beverage that are safe for health and limited market access. In solving the problems faced by these SMEs, the community service team transferred knowledge and technology through workshops and mentoring. Workshop material includes methods of processing and preserving food, types of natural preservatives, and ways to promote, market, and sell products through online marketing media (e-commerce). While mentoring was carried out after the workshop was completed. With the completion of community service activities, it is expected that SMEs can increase product durability and product quality by using natural preservatives that are safe for health, and SMEs are able to run and manage e-commerce applications that have been developed.

Abstract

Surabaya is one of the cities in Indonesia that has problems on garbage. In handling the garbage, the city government of Surabaya issued a large enough budget to transport the waste to the landfill (TPA). This can be reduced if the waste from the source can be managed properly. Lack of public awareness in RT. 019, RW. 04 Kelurahan Wonokromo Surabaya City in managing household waste, it can be seen from the community disposing of waste is not sorted and do not know how to recycle the waste. By recycling waste into compost, in addition to helping the government in reducing the waste can also green the environment with the resulting compost fertilizer. Community service is done to members of the PKK in RT. 019, RW. 04, Wonokromo urban village of Surabaya, and implemented on April 1 -November 31, 2015. The method used in community service is counseling and training in managing household waste. The result of community service is that most PKK members can sort waste and manage their household waste into compost, and the community environment becomes green from the resulting compost.

Abstract

Even though good regulations and work procedures have been made, the Zero Lost Time Injury program and the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), work risks and accidents still occur in the production division of PT. XYZ. The purpose of this research is to identify the dangers arising from work accidents and to know the risks of work accidents and the hazards and their impacts. HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method. by identifying risks, how to assess risk control risk. Data collection is carried out by field observations, interviews, and analysis of standard operating procedure documents. Accident risks and dangers are found in many activities in transportation and unloading of materials, activities for determining finish good into drums, unloading filter paper activities, there are many risks of accidents and hazards including: material fall, being hit by raw material, pinched feet when unloading etc. The impacts include: Minor Injury, P.A.K, Permanent Disability, Major Material Losses, and even Fatality. Strict action against workers who violate regulations and do not use PPE according to standards.
