Abstract

The Faculty of Biology and Agriculture of the National University has a zoological research laboratory that is used in terms of collecting, analyzing, and storing data on various types of organisms, laboratory services, and carrying out various lab activities such as research, publications, experiments, and research. However, there is no information system or website that can bridge the dissemination of this information. Current laboratory service management is still paper-based, such as recording book, tool, and place borrowing services where the manager must record it in a book. Therefore, an information system or website will be designed for zoological research laboratories that can assist in the dissemination of information and laboratory management using the extreme programming method. The results of the test get a positive response and in SUS testing (system usability testing) get an average score of 82 which is in the "Good" category with grade "B".

Abstract

Abstract

This research implements Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology in the process of assessing Al-Qur'an memorization to overcome the problem of the increasing number of people who cannot read the Al-Qur'an fluently. With ASR, computers can recognize and transcribe human speech accurately, thereby improving the quality and accuracy of pronunciation and providing constructive feedback to learners. An Android-based application that uses the ASR service from the Google Speech API allows users to recite verses from the Koran and automatically recognize and evaluate what they have memorized. The hope is that the use of ASR technology can improve the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an more effectively and flexibly without requiring direct teacher assistance. This system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with Blackbox Testing.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the management system of social and public facilities will assist in improving the performance of the sub-district government. Currently, the Pasar Kemis District office does not yet have a web-based infrastructure and facility management system to overcome the problem of collecting data on social and public facilities that still use a semi-computer system, namely recording infrastructure and facility data using paper, then recapitulation is carried out to make reports on social facilities. And general. This system still has shortcomings such as difficulty in finding data, allowing errors in data collection, data piling up and requiring a long time in the reporting process. To overcome the problems faced, the authors propose a web-based social and public facility management system so that data collection on facilities becomes easier, shortens time, is organized in data storage. The author uses the method of Observation, Interview, and Literature Study in collecting data. All data are summarized and then clearly described in the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Making a prototype system using Adobe XD application and in analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the system, the researcher uses the SWOT method. This system is made using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework. The system was tested using the Black Box Testing method. The computerized system makes it easier to manage infrastructure and facilities data so as to assist in the data collection process, data retrieval and reporting of social and public facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' perceptions of assessment practices in social studies subjects consisting of Economics, Geography, History and Sociology at SMAN 2 Tanggul and their implications for teaching and learning. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews and classroom observations. A total of 30 students from grades X, XI, and XII were purposively selected to ensure the diversity of their experiences and views. The results showed that students tend to favour formative assessments that provide constructive feedback and opportunities to improve over summative assessments that are often perceived as adding pressure. Positive perceptions of formative assessment were associated with increased motivation to learn and active participation in class. In contrast, negative perceptions of summative assessments that are perceived as unfair and overly pressurised negatively impact student motivation and confidence. This research reveals that diverse and innovative assessment practices are needed to accommodate students' learning needs more effectively. The implications of these findings emphasise the importance for teachers to develop assessment strategies that are fair, useful and responsive to students' needs, which can ultimately improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes in social studies classes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify whether recipients of disability assistance are eligible to receive aid based on the Governor of DKI Jakarta Regulation Number 44 of 2022 concerning the Provision of Social Assistance for Protection. This study uses a qualitative approach with Python and takes a real case study using a dataset from the DKI Jakarta Social Service in 2020. The study involves two machine learning algorithms: Decision Tree to classify eligibility and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) to visualize the recipients of assistance who fall into the eligible and non-eligible groups. The large number of recorded disabled individuals has created challenges for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service in identifying them. The high population, along with limited resources and funds, presents a significant challenge for the Social Service to ensure that assistance is distributed accurately and effectively. One of the efforts that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service can undertake is to issue the Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ). The results of this study show that the classification with the Decision Tree algorithm achieved an accuracy score of 0.78, indicating that the developed system is capable of providing recommendations with a high level of accuracy in determining aid recipients, thereby improving efficiency in the decision-making process related to aid distribution.

Abstract

The aim of the research aimed at this research is to clarify efforts to increase teacher capabilities with the title "activator school". This type of research refers to a qualitative descriptive approach carried out at one of the activator schools, namely SDN Cibaga 2, Serang district. Sampling used purposive sampling. The primary data collection carried out was obtained from observations accompanied by discussions with several teachers. Meanwhile, the selunder data uses previous references from various sources in the form of articles indexed by SINTA to internationally. In conducting interviews, it is carried out by providing a semi-structured form, after which the data results are analyzed using reduction and drawing conclusions. This research obtained results showing that activator schools strive to develop learning activities that embody the character of Pancasila for their students. One element that needs to be improved is the teacher's ability to innovate lesson plans that contain the character of Pancasila. Online training steps carried out in a short time are a concern for activator teachers, because they limit training possibilities for the development and application of indicators. Schools are encouraged to seek information from relevant educational institutions.
