Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the extraction of lemon liquid (citrus limon) using Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology against increasing the immunity of puerperal mothers. The method used is true experiment with randomized pretest and posttest with control group design. The results showed that the average increase in immunity of postpartum mothers in the pretest intervention group was 264.66 and posttest was 328.16 while in the control group the average result of increasing immunity was 208.76 and posttest was 137.05. The conclusion of giving the results of the extraction of lemon liquid (citrus limon) using Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology at a dose of 7grams / 175ml given for 14 days was proven to have an effect on increasing the immunity of postpartum mothers with a p value of <0.05. Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of skin-to-skin contact for LBW, which includes an analysis of when it is fastest to start, how long it lasts, and what the impact is. The research method used was a systematic review through searches in electronic databases, namely Proquest, Scopus, EBSCOhost, Clinical Key, and Clinical Key for Nursing from 2013 to 2023. The study results showed that early skin-to-skin contact for LBW was safe from eight research articles. Starting in the first 24 hours of life, including mild to moderate unstable conditions, still using a breathing apparatus and IV line (umbilical or central). The initial duration starts from 40 minutes to 16 hours per day. The impact is in the form of a higher rate of weight gain, reduced need for parenteral nutrition, longer duration of breastfeeding, better immunological function and lung function, better sleep patterns, lower prolonged crying patterns, lower markers of stress in babies and mothers, and mortality rates. In the first month, it was quieter. In conclusion, skin-to-skin contact for LBW is safe to do from an early age, including for unstable LBW in the mild to moderate category; the duration starts from 40 minutes and is increased gradually according to the baby's tolerance and has been proven to have many positive impacts on both the baby and the mother. Abstract

This study aims to explain nursing care by providing music therapy for acute pain nursing problems in leukemia patients. The method used is to analyze the nursing care that has been provided, namely music therapy to treat pain in leukemia patients. The results of the study showed that there was a decrease in pain levels in leukemia patients before and after the music therapy intervention was given. The music the patient listens to helps the patient feel relaxed and calm, so that after listening to music he can calm himself down and forget for a moment the pain or pain the patient is experiencing. In conclusion, even though music does not affect the disease itself, this therapy makes patients forget about the condition and pain by focusing on breathing and the music they listen to, even if only for a moment.
