Abstract

AbstrakJalan Nguter–Wonogiri adalah jalan provinsi dan termasuk kategori jalan kolektor dalam sistem jalan jaringan jalan primer yang menghubungkan ibukota provinsi dengan ibukota kabupaten/kota dan sebagai kawasan jalan strategis provinsi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kerusakan yang terjadi pada perkerasan jalan serta dapat memilah metode penanganan kerusakan yang tepat guna.Data yang dibutuhkan untuk penelitian adalah data lalu-lintas kendaraan harian, data dimensi, lokasi serta jenis kerusakan, peta jaringan jalan, data geometri jalan, data berat dan jenis kendaraan, serta panduan harga pekerja, bahan dan peralatan. Data tersebut diolah untuk menghitung nilai pertumbuhan lalu lintas ruas jalan Nguter – Wonogiri, untuk menghitung nilai (Indeks Tebal Perkerasan) ITPawal  dan nilai ITPexisting, menghitung nilai ESAL pada tahun 2007, 2008, dan 2010. Membandingkan nilai (Equivalent Single-Axle Load) ESAL setiap tahun dengan nilai ITP setiap tahun, serta dapat memilih metode perbaikan yang tepat dari sisi kualitas dan biaya konstruksi dengan cara membandingkan metode perbaikan Standar, Overlay, Rigid, (Cement Treated recycling Base) CTRB.ESAL pada ruas jalan Nguter – Wonogiri pada tahun 2007 = 129.044,54 standard axle, ESAL pada tahun 2008 = 130.812,69 standard axle, ESAL pada tahun 2010 =150.231,52 standard axle. Pertumbuhan lalu lintas dari tahun 2007 sampai tahun 2010 adalah 10,21 % per tahun. Indeks tebal perkerasan (ITP) di ruas jalan Nguter – Wonogiri mengalami penurunan akibat bertambahnya umur layak jalan.  ITP yang semula 5 pada awal umur rencana tahun 2007, saat ini  ITP  ruas jalan ini turun menjadi 3,25. Setiap tahun  ITP pada ruas jalan Nguter - Wonogiri mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,58 nilai ITP atau sekitar 11,6 %.Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ketiga metode diperoleh nilai  overlay sebesar 43, nilai perkerasan kaku (Rigid Pavement) sebesar 28, dan nilai CTRB lapis Laston sebesar 38. Maka  metode perbaikan yang paling optimal pada ruas jalan Nguter–Wonogiri yaitu Perbaikan dengan Overlay lapis laston MS 744 dengan tebal 20 cm dan tebal laston MS 340 dengan tebal 16 cm dengan biaya pelaksanaan sebesar Rp. 10.324.301.200,00. Kata kunci:  Indeks Tebal Perkerasan , Equivalent Single-Axle Load, Metode Perbaikan

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the ecosystem functions through vegetation and wildlife indicators.  Methods used are vegetation analysis and direct indirect method to count wildlife .  Results show that the dominant type of land coverage in Gunung Ambang Nature Reserve is open secondary forest, where shrubs, rattan, and epiphytes dominated.  This might lead to vulnerability of the site toward disturbance.  Furthermore, it was indicated that this area still contains local wildlife species such as Babyrousa babyrussa celebensis.  Eventhough land degradation has become a significant issue, the status of Gunung Ambang as nature reserve has limited restoration attempts both vegetatively and mechanically.

Abstract

AbstrakMasyarakat nelayan P. Rimau Balak di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, merupakan salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang hidup dalam kondisi miskin. Ada dua faktor yang menyebabkan kemiskinan, yakni; faktor yang bersifat alamiah, dan yang bersifat non-alamiah atau faktor struktural. Faktor alamiah  meliputi, degradasi lingkungan perairan, cuaca yang tidak menentu dan perubahan iklim, serta kondisi tangkap lebih (over fishing). Faktor yang bersifat struktural meliputi, sedang faktor struktural meliputi; terbatasnya akses modal, terbatasnya teknologi alat tangkap, kebijakan pemerintah, dan ketidakadilan dalam lembaga sistem bagi hasil. Studi ini bertujuan ingin menjelaskan bagaimana kommunitas masyarakat nelayan P. Rimau Balak dapat bertahan hidup. Sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, pengumpulan dokumen, observasi, dan buku-buku literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara vertikal nelayan memiliki hubungan baik dengan pihak yang menguasai sumber ekonomi, melibatkan keluarga dalam mencari nafkah, serta menghemat pengeluaran. Kemiskinan nelayan bersifat multi-dimensi, sehingga penanganannya tidak secara tambal sulam. AbstractThe fishermen community in Rimau Balak island South Lampung Regencies, is one of the fisherman community which lifing in poverty condition. There are two factors that coused of poverty, namely; natural and non-natural or structural factor. The natural factor are weather uncertinity and climate change, degradation of sea resource and over fishing condition. The factor structural are, low of education and unskill of the fisherman community, limitation of the access of capital,  limitation  of the technology fishing gear, the gouvermen policy,  and unequity institutions sharing sistem. This study  aims to exsplain how the fishermen community in Rimau Balak island can be survival life? This article  has been written  by descriptive qualitatif aproach. Source of data  obtained  trough indepth interview, document colection, observation, and books litterature. This article is a byproduct of the Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program (COREMAP) survey,  that has been done by Population Research Center in Indonesia Institute of Sciences (P2K – LIPI) on Aprill 22 – 30 – 2015.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masih kurang  minatnya siswa dalam belajar khususnya pelajaran matematika,  salah satu sebab adalah  metode yang digunakan oleh guru masih konvensional dan siswa bekerja secara individu, sehingga siswa yang kurang mampu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dengan benar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat dengan  model problem posing pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Batu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  (Classroom Action Research),  pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang datanya tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari pelaksanaan tindakan mulai siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 2 dan berdasarkan hasil observasi tiap-tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan prestasi yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari KKM dari 17 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, mengalami peningkatan siswa yang mendapat nilai memenuhi KKM dari 18 menjadi 27 siswa, dan rata-rata tes siswa dari  62,29 menjadi 71,76 mengalami kenaikan 2,47%, serta prosentase ketuntasa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,6% menjadi 79,4% meningkat 30,8%.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan model problem posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan hasil belajar, Bilangan berpangkat, Problem Posing ABSTRACT The lack of student’s study interest especially on mathematics, one of the reason is the method is still conventional and students work individually, with the result that students harder to understanding the concept correctly. The purpose of this research is improving learning outcome on exponential numbers with problem posing model in 3rd years students on State Junior High School Batu. This research using Classroom Action Research design and qualitative approach, which is the research that not using statistics technique. This Classroom Action Research executed in two cycle. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on data that obtained from the 1st cycle until 2nd cycle and based on observation from every cycle there is an achievement increase that is students that having under the minimum learning mastery standard from the initial is 17 students increase to 7 students, then there is increase the numbers of students that having on the minimum learning mastery standard from 18 to 27 students, and the average of students’ test from 62,29 to 71,76 (increasing 2,47%), so the percentage of learning mastery increased from 48,6% to 79,4% increase for about 30,8%. This shows that Problem Posing approach can increasing student’s study result especially on exponential numbers subject. Keyword: Increase of study result, Exponential numbers, Problem Posing

Abstract

Background: In the process of work to gain the maximum results, a radiologist needs a viewing box tool to read radiographs. Aims: to create a viewing box tool by using a potentiometer system. Methods: This study used applied research method by creating and using the design of viewing box tool by using a potentiometer system and testing the viewing box tool created by using a Lux meter and 15 respondents consisting of five radiologists and 10 radiographers who should fulfill the questionnaire form. Results: The mean of viewing box illumination reached 220 lux. The results of the questionnaire showed that 100% radiologist gave an A (excellent) and expressed that the viewing box tool created could be used properly and 90% radiographers provided an A (excellent) and expressed that the viewing box tool created could be used properly, while 10% radiographer gave a value of B (moderate). Conclusion: viewing box tool created could be used properly and obtained optimal results as a tool in reading radiographs. Potentiometer system contained in the viewing box was very helpful in reading radiographs because it allowed to adjust the light intensity according to user needs.

Abstract

Background: The main idea of designing an assisting tool for immobilization in pediatric thorax and abdomen examinations is that there are radiographer’ s difficulties while performing radiographs, especially pediatric thorax and abdomen. Aims: This study aims to design of appliance assist for immobilization thorax and abdomen examination on pediatric patients. Methods: This study was an exploratory experiment by designing, applying and testing the construction of an assisting tool for immobilization in thorax and abdomen examination on pediatric patients. The methods used in data collection were interview and observation. Function test results were analyzed based on the check list of the respondents regarding the feasibility of the tool. Results: an assisting tool for immobilization in thorax and abdomen examination on pediatric patients was designed in examination table-shaped made of basic materials such as acrylic, hollow steel and Eser steel plate. Function test on the work of the assisting tool was performed by 6 respondents who applied it to the patient. Based on the function test results, there was of 89,5% respondents who stated that the tool for immobilization in thorax and abdomen examination on pediatric patients could help the performance of the radiographer in positioning and reducing the patient’s movement and there was no artifact in the radiographs. Conclusion: Function test results showed that the tool design could reduce the movement of patients and may replace the function of others to resist the movement of the patient. An assisting tool for immobilization in thorax and abdomen examination on pediatric patients should be improved further especially in choosing the material used, so that the toll will be lighter and can better reduce the patient’s mobility and the size should consider the average height of the pediatric patients.

Abstract

Background: Thick Slab is a technique used in the MRCP examination to acquire the image of the biliary system by using oblique slices in taking some parts of the image at different angles. Image quality with a thick slab technique is considered better than the thin slice since the image visualization of the bile ducts system in various parts appear more clearly. Aims: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the scan time and image information on the MRCP and determine the most informative image with the most effective scan time as possible. Methods: This study type was an experimental study conducted in St. Elisabeth hospital Semarang. The data were in the form of 90 MRI images of biliary tract of 3 patients with 5 variations of Thick Slab (6, 12, 18, 24, 30). The image assessment was taken by 5 respondents regarding the information of the objects of Right Hepatic Duct, Left Hepatic Duct, Common Hepatic Duct, Pancreatic Duct, Cystic Duct, Common Bile Duct and Gallbladder. Data analysis was conducted by regression test and cross tabulation. Results: The study results showed that there was an effect of varying the amount of thick slab on the scan time. The effect of varying the amount of thick slab on the image information can be seen from the statistical test that there was no effect, however descriptively there was a different on the specific per object. The image of thick slab variation of 12 was an image that had the highest value of information with the mean value of 1,988, the total value of 13.936 and a scan time of 0.46 S so that the most informative image with the most effective scan time was on the thick slab number variation of 12. Conclusion: There was an effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the scan time. More variation of the number of thick slab was followed by an increase in the value of the scan time. But there was no effect of variation in the number of thick slab on the image information, however descriptively there was a different on the specific per object which showed that the highest score for the Right Hepatic Duct, Common Hepatic Duct were in the thick slab of 12 and 30, respectively

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the needs and wants of production and management team to improve the machine and performance maintenance. Voice of the Customer (VOC) method was used to capture the needs and wants of production and management team. Meanwhile, the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was used to translate the needs and wants of production and management to the technical requirement that should be done to improve machine and performance maintenance. Moreover, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) was a part of technical requirement. From the result, it is known that long breakdown machine, huge inventory of spare part, and high cost of maintenance become the first of priority of maintenance team to achieve customer satisfaction. To develop the performance maintenance, the company should standardize the procedure, identify the critical spare part, reduce the time to purchase critical spare part, and increase lifetime of spare part.

Abstract

This article discusses water scarcity that occured in West Nusa Tenggara Province, particularly in West Lombok District. The main cause of this nature calamity was the forest destruction at the upstream area. To overcome this problem, the West Lombok District Government have issued water resource management policy, popularly known as “Green Economy Policy”. According to the UNEP, the concept of green economy is one effort to improve human well-being and social equity, while at the same time may significantly reduce environmental risks and ecological scarcities. In other words, green economy is the new paradigm of nature resource management, which shifts this sectoral approach to integrated management. Implementation of this programs are as follows; reforestation at the water catchment area, planting of mangrove trees, village self-help energy program (program desa mandiri energi), thousand blue programs (program seribu biru), and environment public services program. How this program is carried out by the West Lombok District Government? This article aims to answer the question. Keywords: water scarcity, water resource management, green economy.
