Abstract

Employee productivity is a critical factor in the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study explores the influence of the work environment, job skills, and work engagement on employee productivity. MSMEs are instrumental in economic development, yet they face challenges such as fluctuating market demand, competition, and workforce management. A positive work environment and high employee engagement are essential for sustaining productivity, while job skills play a foundational role in task performance. The research employed a quantitative approach, gathering data from 107 employees through questionnaires, field observations, and secondary sources. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to evaluate the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that the work environment and work engagement have significant positive effects on employee productivity, whereas job skills show no statistically significant impact. This suggests that while technical and non-technical abilities are important, they are insufficient without supportive environmental and psychological factors. The study highlights the need for MSMEs to prioritize creating a conducive work environment that fosters collaboration, comfort, and safety. Employee engagement should also be enhanced through participatory decision-making and recognition programs to instill a sense of ownership and commitment. Furthermore, regular training programs should align job skills with operational requirements, ensuring employees are well-equipped to meet organizational goals.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are the process that consumers do when choosing and buying products or services. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence purchasing decisions on Tokopedia e-commerce, focusing on e-trust, experiential marketing, and advertising. The purpose of this study is to determine how E-trust, Experiential Marketing and Advertising can play a role in purchasing decisions. The study used a quantitative approach involving 107 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The results showed that e-trust did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions on Tokopedia. This indicates that the electronic trust factor does not have a direct impact on consumer decisions on this platform. In contrast, experiential marketing and advertising have been shown to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The experience provided to consumers through interesting interactions and effective advertising can increase consumer interest in buying products. These findings indicate that although e-trust does not have much influence, good consumer experience and appropriate promotion through advertising can be key factors in driving purchasing decisions on Tokopedia. This study provides important insights for e-commerce managers to design more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Investors often find it challenging to track stock price fluctuations, especially when making decisions about buying and selling stocks. This study confirms and validates the Elliott wave scenario in analyzing the patterns of future stock price movements for PT Bank Central Asia Tbk and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. The primary focus is on the effectiveness of technical analysis in measuring medium-term price changes from 2020 to 2025, utilizing the Elliott wave oscillator and Fibonacci retracement tools. The findings indicate that BBCA's stock price in 2025 is likely to undergo a correction pattern, with a potential support area at the 50.00% retracement level of IDR 7,600. Meanwhile, BBRI's stock price movement in 2025 is expected to exhibit a bearish trend, with a support area at the 61.80% retracement level of IDR 3,770. Looking ahead, further research into stock price forecasting techniques would significantly contribute to the existing literature and provide valuable insights for investors and traders in predicting stock price movements.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of liquidity, capital structure, and profitability on dividend policy with company size as a moderating variable in consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and associative methods. Data were obtained from the company's financial and annual reports, analyzed using Microsoft Excel and EViews. The sample consisted of 19 companies selected through the Non-Probability Sampling technique, with a total of 95 observations. The results of the analysis show that the classical assumption test has been met, including data normality, free from heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation. Partially, liquidity and capital structure have no effect on dividend policy, while profitability has a positive effect. Company size is unable to moderate the relationship between independent variables and dividend policy. These findings indicate that financial factors remain dominant in determining dividend policy, but future research is advised to consider non-financial factors and a longer period to obtain more accurate results.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence the profitability of conventional banks in Indonesia with Return on Assets (ROA) as the main measure. This study uses a quantitative method with panel data regression to examine the effect of Non-Interest Income (NII), bank size, Loan Loss Provision (LLP), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and overhead costs on the profitability of conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2019–2024. Data were obtained from annual financial reports and other secondary sources such as IDX, Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank. The results showed that NII did not have a significant effect on profitability, indicating that conventional banks still rely on interest income as the main source of profit. Bank size has a positive effect on ROA, with larger banks benefiting from economies of scale and operational efficiency. LLP has a negative effect on profitability, indicating that increasing loan loss provisions reduce bank profits. CAR has a positive effect, indicating that strong capitalization increases investor confidence and financial stability. Meanwhile, overhead costs have a negative effect on ROA, emphasizing the importance of operational efficiency in increasing profitability. This study recommends further research considering Islamic banks and macroeconomic factors for a more comprehensive understanding of banking profitability in Indonesia.

Abstract

Organizations or companies cannot operate optimally without the presence of Human Resources (HR), who are tasked with producing, developing, and ensuring operational continuity. Organizational success can be achieved if employees not only complete their core tasks but also take an active role in activities such as collaborating, supporting each other, and providing input. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) refers to voluntary behavior intended to benefit others and involves factors such as psychological capital and perceived organizational support. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between psychological capital and perceptions of organizational support in relation to OCB among employees of PT DK. This study employs quantitative research methods using both primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through questionnaires administered to 70 respondents. Secondary data sources include information from journals, books, and data obtained from PT DK. The implications of this study provide an overview of psychological capital and perceptions of organizational support in relation to OCB. The results show a very significant relationship between psychological capital and perceptions of organizational support with organizational citizenship behavior. This indicates that individuals who possess psychological capital and perceive strong organizational support are more likely to exhibit OCB.

Abstract

Companies often use loans or bonds to finance their operations, so effective debt management is important to maintain financial stability and prevent adverse impacts such as asset inclusion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of board direction on financial performance with risk management as a mediating variable in the food and beverage subsector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study reveals the role of board directors in improving financial performance in the Indonesian food and beverage (F&B) manufacturing sector, with risk management as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from F&B companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023 using purposive sampling. Panel data regression analysis was conducted using EViews 9 software to examine the relationship between board characteristics, management risk, and financial performance, as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The results showed that board size, board ownership, CEO tenure, CEO duality, and board independence showed weak or insignificant correlations with financial performance. Furthermore, risk management does not significantly mediate this relationship, suggesting that other corporate governance factors and management strategies may play a more dominant role in shaping financial outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesia's entry into the Education 4.0 era emphasizes integrating cyber technology into learning, as reflected in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which aims to foster the Pancasila Student Profile. Despite this, low student motivation and interest, particularly in mathematics, remain key challenges. This study aims to design an interactive learning application tailored to elementary school students to address these issues. Using the Design Thinking methodology, five stages—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—were employed, involving questionnaires, interviews, usability testing via Maze.co, and user experience evaluation (UEQ). The findings reveal that the application includes structured curriculum-based materials, customizable quizzes, and discussion forums. Usability testing achieved a success rate exceeding 80%, and UEQ results ranged from above average to excellent. Although the application effectively increases engagement and learning outcomes, improvements in visual elements, such as color selection and illustrations, are recommended to enhance the user experience further. This research underscores the significance of user-centered design in creating impactful educational tools that motivate and engage students while supporting educators' instructional goals.

Abstract

Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium (NPK) fertilizer production in Indonesia is dominated by private producers and imported products, making PT Pupuk Indonesia's market share for NPK Phonska Plus relatively small. To increase sales and market penetration, companies need to understand distributor preferences as an important part of the supply chain. The study aims to identify purchasing preferences and distributor behavior that have a significant impact on product marketing. This study was conducted by surveying 212 distributors in East Java, which is the largest market for NPK Phonska Plus. Using observation and survey methods, data was processed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach, targeting distributors in non-city areas of East Java. The results of the study provide an in-depth overview of the factors that influence distributor decisions, such as product quality, price, and service support. Strategic recommendations are formulated to increase competitiveness, strengthen relationships with distributors, and expand the company's market share. With this data-based marketing strategy, PT Pupuk Indonesia can strengthen its position in the domestic market, especially for its flagship product NPK Phonska Plus, facing the challenges of competition in the fertilizer industry in Indonesia.
