Abstract

Bogor, one of Indonesia's oldest cities, is renowned for its distinctive culture and rich historical heritage, including the Batutulis area. This area holds significant remnants of the Sundanese Kingdom's history and has been designated as a historical and cultural tourism destination in Bogor. Effective development of a tourism area necessitates collaboration among various stakeholders. However, in the case of Batutulis, insufficient communication and cooperation have led to misunderstandings among stakeholders. To address these issues, appropriate strategies are essential in the non-physical planning of the Batutulis Tourism Area, including stakeholder roles, tourism product development, and marketing strategies to ensure comprehensive and well-structured tourism planning. This research aims to identify, classify, and analyze the relationships between stakeholders involved in developing the Batutulis Tourism Area. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, integrating stakeholder and SWOT analyses. Data collection techniques included observations, interviews, and document reviews, with interviews conducted with stakeholders identified through the Pentahelix Strategy. The successful development of the Batutulis Tourism Area depends on strategic planning and collaboration among stakeholders, emphasizing the need for synergy in coordination, communication, and cooperation. Abstract

PT XYZ has attempted to protect its employees from work accidents through Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) risk assessments, safety transformation, and the digitalization of safety management. However, the company has not achieved zero accidents due to factors such as the large area, many workers, diverse types of work, an unsafe work culture, and budget constraints. Therefore, risk mitigation is crucial for effective safety management. This study uses a combined method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)- Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)- Bow Tie Analysis (BTA)- Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to select the appropriate risk mitigation strategies. The results showed that disruption handling work carries the highest risk, with 14 risks identified, including 7 high risks, 4 medium risks, and 3 low risks. A total of 79 mitigations have been effective, while 127 mitigations need to be implemented as a priority. The highest priority mitigations to reduce the risk of work accidents include the use of volt detectors, routine vehicle inspections, installation of warning signs, SCADA integration, checking climbing ladders, installing grounding, and using personal protective equipment. With the right mitigation steps, PT XYZ is expected to achieve optimal work safety and zero accidents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of board characteristics and ownership structure on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The study uses secondary data in the form of financial and annual reports from banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2023. The variables in this study are CSR as the dependent variable, women on board, board size, board meetings, ownership concentration, and managerial ownership as independent variables, and liquidity, firm age, profitability, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) as control variables. The sample was selected based on specific criteria, resulting in 34 companies from the banking industry. The data analysis used for hypothesis testing was panel data regression with E-Views 9 software. The results show that board size, liquidity, and firm age have a significant negative effect on CSR. Ownership concentration and profitability have a significant positive effect on CSR. Meanwhile, women on board, board meetings, managerial ownership, and CAR do not show any significant effect on CSR. The implication of this research is that to improve CSR performance, management needs to pay attention to board size, ownership concentration, liquidity, firm size, and profitability.

Abstract

In the culinary world, fusion cuisine is becoming increasingly popular, especially in terms of transforming traditional recipes to suit modern tastes. This concept includes the creation of innovative and appealing dishes by combining elements from various culinary traditions, both local and international. In the context of Indonesia, fusion food not only offers a variety of flavors but also introduces more appealing presentation styles that align with the preferences of the younger generation. Modification of traditional recipes such as soto, satay, and fried rice is a real example of culinary fusion. For example, Lamongan Soto, which is usually simple, can be transformed by adding seafood and salted eggs, giving it a richer flavor and a more luxurious appearance. Like fried rice, molecular gastronomy techniques can be used to create sambal in the form of pearl-like beads that are more visually appealing and flavorful. Fusion cuisine also attracts tourists. Chefs can expand the culinary market by adapting traditional Indonesian dishes into forms that are more palatable to international tastes, such as rendang burgers or sushi burgers. This increases interest in local cuisine and allows chefs to innovate and build a reputation worldwide. Although it offers many opportunities, implementing fusion cuisine has several challenges. When making modifications, maintaining the authenticity and identity of traditional food is a major challenge. Overall, culinary fusion provides a platform for innovation in the culinary world by combining tradition and modernity. This not only enriches the culinary experience but also allows chefs to conduct in-depth research on the characteristics of ingredients and cooking techniques from various cultures to ensure that the final result remains harmonious and delicious. This process involves repeated experimentation to achieve the ideal flavor combination without losing the essence of the original cuisine. Abstract

The Central Halmahera Regency Government has established a Management Information System to enhance service provision across various sectors. A primary focus is the creative economy, which is rapidly evolving alongside the designation of this region as a national strategic industrial area. The development of the creative economy in Central Halmahera emphasizes enhancing competitiveness, improving the capacity of human resources for creative economy stakeholders, strengthening digital-based creative enterprises, and promoting comprehensive digital transformation. This study aims to assess the implementation of the management information system in monitoring the creative economy's development and to identify the challenges encountered during this implementation. Employing a descriptive qualitative methodology, data collection involved direct interviews, observations, and documentation studies to gather both primary and secondary data. The findings indicate that the implementation of the management information system in Central Halmahera is suboptimal, primarily due to insufficient telecommunications infrastructure support at the village level and a lack of digital literacy among stakeholders. Although the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations have established websites as digital platforms for monitoring the creative economy, systematic and integrated monitoring based on information technology has yet to be achieved. There is a pressing need to enhance the monitoring of the creative economy by developing a digital-based monitoring system. The regional government must devise an appropriate scheme and framework to create an integrated Management Information System that streamlines the collection of levies, thereby enabling this sector to contribute to the enhancement of regional financial capacity through the optimization of Regional Original Income.

Abstract

Village funds are allocations of money to support government activities, development projects, community activities, and community empowerment. Accountability is the obligation to report and be responsible for the success or failure of the organization's mission in achieving previously set results, through periodic accountability media. Accountability in village fund management is the obligation to report and be responsible for the village funds managed for the benefit of village development and the welfare of the village community. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of village apparatus, community participation, and the educational background of village heads on the accountability of village fund management with leadership style as a moderating variable. This research is a quantitative study with a population of all village officials in Electoral District 6, Bogor Regency, totaling 671 people. The research sample consisted of 87 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error and with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square approach (PLS). The research results indicate that the knowledge, skills, and experience of village officials have a negative and significant impact on the accountability of village fund management, possibly due to a lack of skills or potential fraud. On the contrary, community participation has a positive impact, indicating that public involvement increases social pressure and oversight of the village government. The educational background of the village head also has a positive impact, strengthening accountability through a better understanding of financial management. However, when community participation is moderated by leadership style, the impact becomes negative, highlighting the importance of effective leadership. A good leadership style reinforces the positive impact of village head education. Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing web-based technology in inventory management to support the sustainability of batik businesses in Kampung Batik Laweyan, Surakarta. Unlike companies that have good inventory records, batik entrepreneurs in this area still use manual records with demand-based production. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field study method to gain an in-depth understanding of the inventory management problems faced by batik entrepreneurs. Data collection was conducted through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The results of the study indicate that inventory management is not optimal due to the absence of an effective control method. Purchases of raw materials are still based on estimates without careful planning, and there is no classification of inventory costs. The implementation of the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method has been shown to increase efficiency by determining the optimal order quantity and the right time to reorder. The implementation of a technology-based system has been shown to be more effective than manual records, with benefits such as increased data accuracy, operational efficiency, and reduced risk of recording errors. Overall, a technology-based system is an important strategy in increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of batik businesses in the digital era.
