Abstract

This study aims to implement a convolution neural network algorithm to detect empty parking areas based on Raspberry Pi 4 and use the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method of the YOLO V5 model. This research consists of several stages, starting from the potential and problem stages, needs analysis, literacy studies, building prototypes, system design, and system testing. The datasets collected were taken using smartphone cameras and webcams with a total of 645 image datasets which were divided into two categories, namely training data and validation. System testing is carried out in two conditions, namely during the day and at night. The results of the detection test for observing variations in the position of filled and unfilled vehicles obtained the highest average accuracy during daytime conditions, while for observing cars entering and leaving the parking lot during day and night conditions, the results were the same percentage of success.

Abstract

People spend a lot of time with gadgets every day, and it cannot be denied that gadgets can facilitate people's activities in various fields. However, even though gadgets are very helpful, there are digital crimes that we must be aware of. One case that has received a lot of attention is the method of providing online invitations and package delivery receipts in the form of malware spread via the WhatsApp chat application. This has caused many losses, such as losing money in banking and also confidential data being accessed by criminals. The aim of this research is so that the public can anticipate this crime. Researchers use the Reverse Engineering method to find out the process, patterns, design, and how a program works in detail. The results obtained from this research are that there are many hacker attacks in the form of malware applications. This malware application will run when the victim downloads, installs, and grants access permission to the application. So people should always be alert and careful when using gadgets in everyday life.

Abstract

The research aims to design a system to repel rice pests in rice fields by moving the scarecrow using a servo motor while sounding the speaker according to the infrared signal detection from the PIR sensor. The research method used is the waterfall method, and the research implementation time is approximately three months, starting from the proposal seminar. The rice pest repellent test was carried out by testing the reading of the infrared signal received by the PIR sensor, then moving the servo and turning on the speaker to repel bird pests in the rice fields

Abstract

ITPLN's promotional target range extends to the entirety of Indonesia. At present, campus admissions only focus on 35 out of the 38 provinces, with a limited number of students from the remote and outlying areas. Several promotional techniques have been implemented, yielding satisfactory results; however, there is room for improvement. To enhance its efforts, ITPLN utilizes VR technology to showcase campus facilities through virtual media. The Virtual Reality laboratory at ITPLN offers virtual tours that introduce various laboratories in all faculties. These tours serve two important purposes: supporting lectures in the laboratory and promoting the campus. The integration of laboratory introductions as a promotional tool is deemed appropriate for several reasons, including wider coverage, more comprehensive information, and an immersive and interactive experience. Consequently, prospective ITPLN students no longer need to physically visit the campus to gain a comprehensive understanding of the laboratory and campus in general. The development of VR facilities followed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, and thorough testing was conducted to refine the existing VR resources. The outcome of this process is nine laboratory tours that highlight VR-based practical and research facilities, which can further enhance web-based learning and campus promotion.

Abstract

Changes in air temperature are a major challenge in Indonesian agriculture. Erratic air temperatures hurt plant growth, so farmers must adjust planting schedules and plant selection according to the air temperature at a certain period. The author aims to predict minimum and maximum air temperatures in Temanggung district in 2024 using the Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) method. Monthly air temperature data in Temanggung district for the period 2020 to 2023 is used for air temperature forecasting using the TES method. The analysis results show that the TES model can predict air temperature with fairly good accuracy. The minimum temperature is expected to be 23°C, maximum 26-27°C. The research results provide benefits for the agricultural sector in Temanggung. Farmers can use the results of air temperature predictions to adjust planting schedules based on crops that suit the air temperature to minimize the negative impact of air temperature on plant growth and agricultural yields.

Abstract

Manufacturing 3d printer filaments based on used plastic bottle waste is a promising solution in reducing environmental impact while utilizing excessive available resources. This research aims to evaluate the effect of variations in manufacturing temperature (210°C, 220°C, and 230°C) on the impact strength of 3D printer filament based on used bottle waste. The experimental method was carried out by printing filament samples at each printing temperature and testing the impact strength using the Charpy method. The research results show that printing temperature affects the impact strength of the filament, with a temperature of 230°C providing optimal results.

Abstract

RT 03/03 Tinggarjaya Village, Jatilawang District is one of the RTs in Tinggarjaya Village, Jatilawang District, Banyumas Regency. On RT 03/03, Ronda is held every night. So far, the system for writing patrol schedules and recapping Jimpitan data still uses manual or written by hand and does not use automatic computer storage. No website is still used to record resident data, Jimpitan data, and patrol schedules. This causes less efficiency in making data reports in these activities. This practical work aims to create a simple website that can make creating reports on citizen data, Jimpitan data, and patrol schedules easier. The Patrol Scheduling System was created using the Waterfall model. The application is a tool for creating citizen data reports, traffic jam data, and patrol schedules.

Abstract

Planting shallots is very dependent on rainfall. High rainfall when planting shallots can result in shallot plants not growing well, resulting in reduced selling value at harvest time and low rainfall. Therefore, this study aims to determine the rainfall forecasting process for planting shallot plants in Brebes District, Brebes Regency. The data used in rainfall forecasting is monthly data in Brebes District from January 2019 to December 2023 using the Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing method. Data sourced from NASA's Power Data Access Viewer. In the surface data, get the MAPE value0.05241. Earth Skin Temperature data gets a MAPE value of 2.34346. Wind Speed data gets a MAPE value of 14.5396. DataPrecipitationgot a value of 138.829583. These findings contribute to further understanding regarding rainfall forecasting in shallot planting, which can support the planting process so that the harvest is good and produces high selling value.
