Abstract

The research was conducted in the building material manufacturing industry. Research focus onplanning and controlling raw fiber roof fiber cement raw material using the Material Requirement Planning method. Problems that occur because of fluctuations in stock. By evaluating the planning process, calculating raw material requirements and then reviewing the most efficient Lotsizing techniques between Fixed Order Quantity, Economic Order Quantity, Lot for Lot, Period Order Quantity. Besides that, a strategy is also studied so that MRP can be applied. From the application of the lot sizing technique, the most efficient lotting method is obtained from the Lot for Lot method at a cost of Rp. 5.29 billion. The application of MRP also has an impact on improving inventory performance, changes in minimum and maximum stock changes that are adjusted to production activities. Efficient purchase costs from total raw material needs with an average value of Rp 8.33 billion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the business model with Business Model Canvas on KJPP Yanuar Bey and Partners (Y&R) engaged in the Appraisal and Consultant. The objectives of this study are: (1) Identifying the business model at Y&R using BMC, (2) Creating a business model improvement on Y&R. The Business Model will be reviewed on every BMC element consisting of customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structures with SWOT Analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Data collection was carried out using interviews and observation techniques. This research is focused on creating a new business model with a BMC approach that looks at Y&R through the nine elements of BMC. The results of this study indicate that the business model that has been carried out by Y&R found weaknesses in the nine elements of BMC, therefore it is necessary to improve all elements.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the largest bottled drinking water company (AMDK) in Indonesia. Implementation of the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in a good company include: Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Fairness, and Independence are effective as a tool for internal control of the company. So the company can supervise and ensure the performance of management can be controlled properly and lead to the achievement of increasing company value. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the principles of Good Corporate Governance applied at PT. Aqua Golden Mississippi Tbk. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that in practice PT. Aqua Golden Mississippi Tbk is not maximized in the running principles of Good Corporate Governance There are still many constraints on the implementation of Good Corporate Governance, including corporate organs that do not yet have independence, besides that law enforcement in Indonesia is still not firm, and there are still many KKN practices that are one of the obstacles to the enforcement of Good Corporate Governance.

Abstract

The research carried out at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) aims to find out how the implementation of Good Corporate Governance and what obstacles are encountered in its implementation. The results of the study stated that PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) received an excellent rating based on the assessment. The implementation of Good Corporate Governance in the company is demonstrated by the implementation of the principles of Good Corporate Governance, namely the principle of Openness with transparency regarding the appointment process of the Directors through due diligence and compliance, the principle of Accountability with clarity of functions and responsibilities of corporate organs through the organizational structure, the principle of Responsibility for the existence of the program corporate social responsibility, the Independent principle by setting an independent auditor the Public Accountant Office to audit the financial statements and finally the Fairness principle is indicated by the existence of different regulations regarding company management. As for the obstacles faced, there is no transparency in the process of selecting members of the Board of Commissioners, the reward and punishment system has not been implemented by the company, the minutes of the meeting have not met the dynamics of the meeting, not yet published.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of leadership style to employee performance (study on English language education department). This study was quantitative research. The data of collecting used questioner. The population is seventeen and as sample. The analysis data of technique descriptive analysis and Likert scale. The result of this study shown that The four variables (leadership style) have an important influence to Y (employee performance). This can be seen from sales above almost all respondents answer strongly agree of category. This means that leadership style has big influence to employee performance in English Education Language Department, State of Islamic (STAIN) Mandaling Natal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of bond rating for case studies on consumer finance companies listed on the IDX. The factors studied are firm size, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and growth. The sample collection technique uses a purposive sampling method. The data used descriptive statistical analysis with total 22 sample companies. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that firmsize and liquidity had a significant positive effect, while the leverage had a negative effect on bond rating. Profitability and growth had no effect on bond rating. The implication of this study is that investors can make information related to bond rating as one of the references before making an investment and to minimize the risk of default. In order for bonds to remain competitive and attractive to investors, companies need to improve company performance and bond rating. In addition, companies also need to increase assets and strengthen capital for business turnover. These ways have been proven affecting the company's obligation rating. For further study, it is expected to be able to test other variables that are determinants of bond rating because the coefficient of determination of this study is 63.70%, which means the remaining 36.30% bond rating are influenced by factors outside this study.

Abstract

Unemployment in Indonesia continues to increase every year. One cause of the unemployment problem is school graduates who have the goal of finding jobs, not developing more jobs. One step in reducing unemployment and increasing employment is by entrepreneurship through entrepreneurship education. An Najiyah Tangerang Vocational School is one of the schools that provide the entrepreneurial understanding and hands-on learning practice. This study aims to determine the effect of internal and external factors on entrepreneurial interest mediated by entrepreneurship education on students of An Najiyah Vocational School Tangerang. This study used a quantitative approach with data analysis in testing the measurement model and the structural model using SmartPLS software version 3.2.8. The results showed that internal and external factors had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial interest on students of An Najiyah Vocational School. If the internal and external factors were mediated by the variable of entrepreneurship education, the effect was significant on entrepreneurial interest. In addition, entrepreneurship education also has a significant positive effect on the entrepreneurial interest of An Najiyah Vocational School.

Abstract

This research aimed to show a close relationship between: 1) The ability of verbal reasoning and the writing scientific papers skill; 2) Understanding of word selection and the writing scientific papers skill; 3) The ability to use cohesion devices and the writing scientific papers skill; 4) The ability of verbal reasoning, understanding of word selection, ability to use cohesion devices together with the writing scientific papers skill of Jambi FEO. This research used the method of survey with correlational technique. The sample of this research was 50 people who were the Civil Servants FEO, working at the Jambi Provincial Extension Office in 2019. The results showed a significant and linear relationship between 1. The verbal reasoning ability and the writing scientific papers skill, shown by the equation: ? = 23,15 + 0,81 X1 2. Understanding of word selection and the writing scientific papers skill, shown by the equation: ?=39,32 + 0,55 X2 3. The ability to use cohesion devices and the writing scientific papers skill, shown by the equation: ? = 40,02 + 0,57 X3 4. The verbal reasoning ability, understanding of word selection, ability to use cohesion devices together with the writing scientific papers skill, shown by the equation: ? = 21, 09 + 0,421 X1 + 0,16 X2 + 0,27 X3. The multiple correlation coefficient was Ry123 = 0.85, and the determination coefficient was R2 = 0.72, which means that 72% of variations in the scientific papers writing skill can be explained by the verbal reasoning ability, understanding of word selection, and the ability to use cohesion tools.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the influences of product quality, promotion and location on the customer loyalty either directly or through the customer satisfaction as the mediator variable and also to know and analyze the influence of customer satisfaction on the customer loyalty at hypermarket Lottemart of Taman Surya. Data collection is conducted through questionnaire. Sample used in this study consists of 400 respondents of customers of hypermarket Lottemart of Taman Surya Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research uses non probability sampling technique. The method of analysis used is Partial Least Square (PLS) assisted with SmartPLS application. The results of the research reveal that quality product, promotion and location have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Product quality, promotion and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty but location has no significant effect on customer loyalty.
