This paper scrutinizes the influence of deployment scenarios on the energy performance of fifth-generation (5G) network at various backhaul wireless frequency bands. An innovative network architecture, the hybrid centric-distributed, is employed and its energy efficiency (EE) model is analyzed. The obtained results confirm that the EE of the 5G network increases with an increasing number of small cells and degrades with an increasing frequency of wireless backhaul and radius of small cells regardless of the network architectures. Moreover, the hybrid centric-distributed architecture augments the EE when compared with the distributed architecture.

This paper in existence a complete system connected to all situations power quality event, which has been achieved using MATLAB/SIMULINK and utilizing parametric equations. In electrical energy allocation system, the disturbances of power quality have emerged as an important matter for usefulness and customers. This design incorporates distribution two capacitor bank, line fault, starting of induction motor, non-linear load and transformer energizing that are usage to simulate diverse kind of voltage sag. In simulate voltage provisional through distribution network produced as a result of effect capacitor bank switching version in the general model. For clarity, this model is advanced with an integrated block and setting in which all event situations are organized for energy quality without scarifying the gist it. This model Integrated is too beneficial to simulate different energy quality waveforms. The performance of the brand new automated categorization algorithms received are appropriate for checking waveforms of power quality.

Open data are available from various private and public institutions in different resource formats. There are already great number of open data that are published using open data portals, where datasets and resources are mainly presented in tabular or sheet formats. However, such formats have some barriers with application developments and web standards. One of the web recommenced standards for semantic web application is RDF. There are various research efforts have been focused on presenting open data in RDF formats. However, no framework has transformed tabular open data into RDFs considering the HTML tags and properties of the resources and datasets. Therefore, a methodology is required to generate RDF resources from this type of open data resources. This methodology applies data transformations of open data from a tabular format to RDF files for the Saudi Open Data Portal. The methodology successfully transforms open data resources in sheet format into RDF resources. Recommendations and future work are given to enhance the development of building open data.

A WS provides the communication between heterogeneous systems. While performing this operation, we need to focus on QoS of consumer, provider and registry directory. There will be some parameters like WS selection, prediction and rank these are parameters need to consider while QoS implementation in web services. While performing integration in web services we need to focus on QoS requirements regarding server and network performance. Performance of WS is related to locations i.e the network distance and the Internet connections between consumer and provider. There will be more QoS approach which works on consumers collected QoS data, based on this data system can predict the QoS of WS. Throughput and response time are the QoS of WS. In this paper, we have proposed parallel XML parser, by which we can parse UDDI, WSDL and SOAP XML files parallel by which it will improve the response time and throughput of WS.

Thanks to its wide bandwidth, pulsed eddy current (PEC) has attracted researchers of various backgrounds in the attempt to exploit its benefits in Non-destructive Testing (NDT). The ability of modelling PEC problems would be a precious tool in this attempt as it would help improve the understanding of the interaction between the transient magnetic field and the specimen, among others. In this work, a Finite Element Modelling (FEM) has been developed and experimental test data have been gathered for its validation. The investigated cases were simulated surface cracks of different sizes and angles. The study involved looking at time-domain PEC signals at different spatial distances from the cracks’ faces, which would particularly be useful for modelling scanning PEC probes. The obtained results show a good agreement between the FEM and experiment, demonstrating that the modelling technique can be used with confidence for solving similar problems.

Over the last decade there has been an increase in number of E-mails or comments to a company via social media sites, to satisfy their customers, the company must take in to consideration these messages and comments and know whether the customers are satisfied with what the company offers or not. Several techniques have been proposed to analyze the sentiment of the comment writer. Dealing with the Arabic language is faced with many challenges, such as it is a morphologically rich language and how to return the word to its original root. In this paper the challenges of dealing with the Arabic language were reviewed and a framework was also established to analyze the comments in Arabic and classify it into positive, negative or neutral sentiment. The framework was trained and tested and then the con-clusions were drawn based on its work.

Functionality, usability, and pleasure are the three elements that influence consumers decision-making and behavioral intentions. This study attempts to fill in the gap in the web design literature by justifying the Kansei-based engineering technique by embedding emotional cues in Higher Learning website designs. This study aims to test the effectiveness of a Kansei-based website that was designed in accordance with the Kansei-based standards for web design. Using an online Geneva Emotion Wheel survey, the results suggest that the Kansei-based website elicit favorable positive emotion from users

Data mining approach has been successfully implemented in higher education and emerge as an interesting area in educational data mining research. The approach is intended for identification and extraction of new and potentially valuable knowledge from the data. Predictive model developed using supervised data mining approach can derive conclusion on students' academic success. The ability to predict student’s performance can be beneficial for innovation in modern educational systems. The main objective of this paper is to develop predictive models using classification algorithm to predict student’s performance at selected university in Malaysia. The prediction model developed can be used to identify the most important attributes in the data. Several predictive modelling techniques of K-Nearest Neighbor, Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree and Logistic Regression Model models were used to predict student’s performance whether excellent or non-excellent. Based on accuracy measure, precision, recall and ROC curve, results show that the Naïve Bayes outperform other classification algorithm. The Naïve Bayes reveals that the most significant factors contributing to prediction of excellent students is when the student scores A+ and A in Multivariate Analysis; A+, A and A- in SAS Programming and A, A- and B+ in ITS 472.

This work presents a novel method for detecting straight lines in an image at a very high speed with optimum number of processors and their functionalities. The method can be used to extract straight lines directly from an image without noise removal and pre-processing. First the square image is converted to a binary edge image using a parallel edge detection mechanism. The parallel edge detection mechanism used in this work is capable of producing edge image within a short time. Then the binary square image is transferred to a system having large number of Processing Elements (PEs). A PE has only limited jobs such as pixel scanning, compare line length with nearby PEs and transmit data to the Main Control Unit (MCU). The MCU collects data from all PEs and evaluates straight lines. Even if the number of PEs is high, it is comparatively very much less than the parallel Hough Transform method and practically implementable using recent ULSI technologies.

This study have outlined numerical investigation of V shaped three element resonator. The stability parameter is measured against back mirror curvature radius, back mirror phase angle, focusing length, focusing mirror phase angle, folding range in both S plane and T plane. The stability parameter is changed in positive and negative trend under the operating system parameters. The stability parameter should be optimized in order to achieve high performance efficiency of resonator system. Beam radius variations are also measured versus focusing range, folding range, and back mirror phase angle. It is clear that the negative effects of increasing system parameters on beam radius variation in both S plane and T plane.
