Abstract

The advancement of the data communication technologies has increased the traffic of data exchange over the internet and at the same time created the opportunity of data attack by various party.  This paper present  Time Performance Analysis Of Advanced Encryption Standard And Data Encryption Standard  in Data Security Transaction. In this study we proposed an AES algorithm with  different key size, and different file format. Our aim is to safely to transfer the file for using the AES algorithm. Proposed algorithm has done by analyzing the different time taken for both AES and DES, experiments were done by three different file  format which were text, image, and voice. Each file format type was tested with five different file sizes. The result of each experiments were analysed and it was confirmed that  the AES algorithm have better performance in term of time taken as compared to DES.

Abstract

With the rapid development and application of RFID system, people would pay more attention to the security of RFID, which is the essential issue and key technology in RFID system. This paper establishes the evaluation index architecture of RFID security, then according to these indexes for the evaluation of the RFID system security which based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation model, this paper proposes a AHP (The Analytic Hierarchy Process) for weighs, and then applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for more accurate and effective evaluation results, which is used to evaluate the security of RFID system. Our security evaluation index architecture and evaluation model with RFID system is very practical and effective in the real life. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i6.5401

Abstract

The present teaching evaluation models are researched on and the evaluation criteria is designed automatically from the perspectives of experts and students. And then that is made to be a kind of scientific and reasonable criteria. By combining the approach weighted entropy and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the present model proposes a teaching comprehensive evaluation model. This software model solves some problems in conducting quantitative analysis of teaching equality. And at the same time, it avoids subjectivity in directly assigning weight to the results. A case study shows that this software model can improve fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with reliability, accuracy as well as objectivity. The model will be suggested to optimize teaching management and improve teaching quality. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2209

Abstract

Recently, matched bandstop filters had become a substantial part of modern RF and microwave systems. However, in these types of filters, the key problem in the couplings of any microstrip resonators to transmission microstrip line is the variation or tolerance of the coupling gap. It was found that the bandstop response is very sensitive to the gap size of the coupled line. Therefore, this paper presents parametric studies of dual-mode parallel coupled line and ring resonator for matched bandstop filter design. For parallel coupled line resonator, it was found that with careful design and proper circuit parametric study on the coupling spacing, very high notch and matched return loss response were obtained. In contrast, for ring resonator, based on the simulated result, it was found that a very high notch and matched return loss response were obtained with careful design and proper circuit parametric study on the coupling spacing, width at coupling lines, and perturbed stub length.

Abstract

This paper presents a visual detection of fingertips by using a classification technique based on the bag-of-words method. In this work, the fingertips are specifically of people who are are holding a therapy ball, as it is intended to be used in a hand rehabilitation project. Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) descriptors are used to generate feature vectors and then the bag-of-feature model is constructed by K-mean clustering which reduces the number of features. Finally, a Support Vector Machine (SVM) is trained to produce a classifier that distinguishes whether the feature vector belongs to a fingertip or not. A total of 4200 images, 2100 fingertip images and 2100 non-fingertip images, were used in the experiment. Our results show that the success rates for the fingertip detection are higher than 94% which demonstrates that the proposed method produces a promising result for fingertip detection for therapy-ball-holding hands.

Abstract

Intravenous therapy aims to inject fluids such as medicine or nutritions into the body via vein vessel. This procedure is needed in various cases whether in an ordinary or emergency. Every person has a different difficulty level thus a nurse usually encountered a problem when locating the position of vein vessel. A visualization device that able to work in realtime and have high mobility is really necessary for an emergency situation to speed up the intravenous access. In this study, a stand-alone veins visualization system was developed. The back-projection method that can adjust based on distance was used to speed up the visualization process. The distance between the device and the object is obtained by an ultrasonic distance sensor. The results of this projection method with a flat surface have maximum shift of 0.48 mm. While on various surfaces, projection shifts under 0.9 mm reach 89% from 140 measurement points. Projection shifts that reach more than 0.9 mm occurred due to the sensor readings are on steep curvature or large angles between segments and sensors.

Abstract

Electromagnetic leakage will happen in working information equipments; it could lead to information leakage. In order to discover the nature of information in electromagnetic leakage, this paper combined electromagnetic theory with information theory as an innovative research method. It outlines a systematic model of electromagnetic information leakage, which theoretically describes the process of information leakage, intercept and reproduction based on electromagnetic radiation, and analyzes amount of leakage information with formulas. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i2.4010

Abstract

Abstract: Aim at thecurrent status of automatic test system that focuses only on a single or thesame type of weapons' performance testing, a networked automatic test system basedon message-oriented middleware is proposed in this paper, and innerarchitecture and process of pus/sub in message-oriented middleware aredescribed. Basing on the message-oriented middleware, the networked automatictest system can shield the complexity and diversity of the bottom test systemand test equipment, and can realize cross-platform communication of varioustest data about weapons. Experiments show that the networked automatic test systembased on message-oriented middleware is an integrated test platform which can providecomprehensive performance test for coordinated engagement on a variety ofweapons.

Abstract

We propose an algorithm to separate black object in binary image. The algorithm is designed to perform vertical separation first, then followed with horizontal separation. This process is done only once (one layer). Results showed that the algorithm potentially could be developed into n-layer separation in a recursive function. The algorithm also potentially could be developed in adaptive to determine when to use a vertical or horizontal separation first. It could be expected to reduce the recursive number.

Abstract

In view of the limitation of the traditional Kalman filter with which the tracking has big calculation amount and low tracking precision base on the model of CV or CA movement, a algorithm is suggested in the present article which is the Interacting Multiple Models Kalman filter(IMM-KF) with the CV and CA model. Under keeping invariant of the tracking precision of linear motion, This method can make the tracking precision of curve motion approach the linear motion’s. The system simulation results show that this algorithm improved the tracking precision of system with the IMM-KF. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2851
