Abstract

Abstrak— PLC mikro berbasis prosesor ARM Cortex yang telahdihasilkan pada penelitian sebelumnya memiliki 32 port I/Odigital dan 6 port I/O analog. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah portI/O baik analog maupun digital tanpa menambah jumlah PLC,maka perlu ditambahkan extended module I/O. Paper inimenjelaskan bagaimana extended module I/O dirancang sampaidengan direalisasikan bersama dengan PLC mikro. Adapun hasilyang diperoleh dari hasil rancangan adalah extended module I/Odigital 20 input dan 12 output, yang bekerja pada range tegangan2-24 Vdc. Serta extended module I/O analog 4 input dan 2 output,yang bekerja pada range tegangan 0-5 Vdc. Keduanya bekerjadengan konsumsi daya yang rendah.Kata Kunci—Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), ExtendedModule PLC, Analog I/O, Digital I/O

Abstract

Abstrak— Sebagai upaya penelitian dan pengembangan bidang elektronika dan control, telah dirancang dan direalisasikan PLC mikro berbasis prosesor ARM Cortex di Fakultas Teknik – Telkom University. Untuk melakukan ekspansi komunikasi, maka dikembangkan modul ethernet yang compatible dengan PLC tersebut. Dari hasil rancangan dan realisasi modul ethernet yang menggunakan WIZ812MJ, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa modul tersebut compatible terhadap PLC mikro yang ada, dan hanya memerlukan daya sebesar 0,5934 W dengan konsumsi arus sebesar 78,9 mA dari sumber catuan main module PLC mikro.Kata Kunci—Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Extended Module PLC, Ethernet Module

Abstract

The use of speech recognition as part of home automation, especially for smart homes, is an exciting thing that is still being developed. That is because of human needs for comfort, convenience, quality of life, and better safety. Speech recognition built in this study is used as a device to control smart home devices by identifying the commands spoken by users, especially in a state of clean speech. The command used is a predetermined consecutive word. For the extraction of voice commands, the MFCC algorithm is used to match spoken words with templates using the Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm. DTW algorithm can find the difference between 2-time series that have different lengths of time. The results of the accuracy of this system by using these algorithms were successfully carried out by 86.67%, with an average time required to identify the commands of 5.28 seconds.

Abstract

Data security is one of many problems that we face in IoT implementation. One of the problems with data security is we cannot assure that the data we received in the server-side is truly our data that we send from client-side or sensor-side. With that problems, comes some solutions like encryption and decryption method or some basic authentication planted on the server-side. In this research, we propose some encryption and decryption method that can be easily implemented on both server and sensor-side and then we analyze the complexity of its algorithm. This research aims to create some authentication process for the data that server-side receive from the sensor-side by creating encrypted ID consisting of 6 digits of alphanumeric and useful for identification process in system, so the server can recognize the data and validate it.

Abstract

Autonomous robot adalah suatu robot yang mampu bekerja secara mandiri tanpa pengendalian langsung dari manusia. Robot bekerja berdasarkan sensor-sensor yang dimilikinya, mengambil keputusan sendiri untuk menyelesaikan misi dalam lingkungan kerjanya. Dalam dunia nyata, lingkungan kerja robot sangat dinamis, selalu berubah, dan tidak terstruktur. Membuat suatu model lingkungan yang tidak terstruktur sangat sulit. Memperoleh model matematik yang tepat dari lingkungan seperti ini hampir tidak mungkin dilakukan. Untuk membuat suatu autonomous mobile robots yang mampu bekerja pada lingkungan yang tidak terstruktur dan dinamis,diperlukansuatumetodatertentuyangadaptifdanmampubelajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka pada riset ini dirancang suatu autonomous mobile robot dengan arsitektur berbasis perilaku yang dapat belajar dan bekerja secara mandiri pada lingkungan yang tidak terstruktur, menggunakan metoda Reinforcement Learning. Tujuan metoda ini diterapkan agar robot mampu belajar dan beradaptasi terhadap lingkungan yang tidak terstruktur. Selanjutnya robot dikembangkan agar mampu menyelesaikan misi menemukan target pada posisi tertentu berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh dari sensor sensor yang ada. Hasil simulasi menunjukan bahwa algoritma pembelajaran Reinforcement Learning berhasil diterapkan pada arsitektur kendali berbasis perilaku di autonomous mobile robot dengan akurasi sebesar 85,71%.

Abstract

The use of electricity for large loads such as buildings and industry is a 3-phase electrical system. The manual activity of recording or monitoring data on electricity usage is considered impractical, so the use of IoT devices can be a solution. However, sending data on IoT devices using wired communication and Wi-Fi is considered less suitable considering that the device will be placed in a panel room that is rarely covered in the network. So that the use of other IoT communications such as LoRa can be an option. Therefore, the design and manufacture of LoRa-based IoT devices was carried out. This is done to expand the scope of IoT devices in carrying out 3-phase kWh meter readings. The device sends data through LoRa communication with test parameters, namely RSSI, SNR and throughput. The device made is an interface between a 3-phase kWh meter with LoRa communication which includes a MAX485 IC, ATMega 2560 microcontroller, and LoRa RFM95W communication module. From the test results, the device can send 3-phase kWh meter data every 3.611 seconds with an average throughput of 957.231 bps. LoRa communication performance used in LOS conditions can reach 300 meters with RSSI -107.625 dBm, SNR -13.063 dB. Meanwhile, in non-LOS conditions the lowest RSSI was -103.338 dBm and the lowest SNR was -8.897 dB.

Abstract

Data of number of people in the room, calculations are usually carried out by assigning someone to oversee a room. In this final project, a system for calculating the number of people in the room is designed with image processing based on human detection that can be used in rooms, both for commercial applications and for security. This system uses Raspberry Pi device that already has an image processing method Haar-Cascade Classifier. Input data is in the form of video taken directly via webcam to be captured into a frame so that it can be used as a input the Haar-Cascade Classifier method and perform the counting process will be sent to the Antares platform. The system design has been tested with five scenarios. Scenario 1 the effect of the distance of the object, scenario 2 the effect of the pose of the object, scenario 3 the effect of the amount the object in the frame, scenario 4 affects the scale factor and scenario 5 measurement computation time. Scenarios 1 to 3 will do the best configuration for minimum neighbour. The system gets the best accuracy of 98,5% when the object distance 4 meters, the best accuracy of 96,6% when the object is facing forward and accuracy the best is 97,7% when the object in the frame is more than two objects with the best configuration use the minimum neighbour 5. Scenario 4 gets accuracy the best is 76,2% when using the scale factor 1.1. Scenario 5 gets the average computation time of the system is under one second, meaning the detection process done pretty fast.

Abstract

As a country located among three major tectonic plate confluences, namely the Eurasian Plate, the Indo-Australian Plate, and the Pacific Plate, Indonesia is an earthquake-prone area. Information about the earthquake occurrences is distributed by the BMKG through social media, websites and television. However, it is undeniable that there are still people who do not have televisions or smartphones. Therefore, earthquake warning systems began to be widely developed. Furthermore, sensors for earthquake vibration detection have an important role in earthquake warning systems. So in this article, the author has conducted a literature study and analysis of the sensors commonly used in earthquake detection systems. This study aimed to present sensor recommendations to be used as earthquake sensors. The result of the literature study, that the author had done, is the selection of sensors is customized to the needs and budget of the project. A description of the sensor recommendations for each project has also been included in this article.

Abstract

Quality control is one of important process that can not be avoided in industry. Image processing technique is required to distinguish the quality of wood. If it can be done automatically by the computer, it will be very helpful. This paper discusses the detection of straight and slant wood fiber to distinguish it’s quality. This paper propose an algorithm by using only two features i.e. mean (average value of slop angle fiber) and maximumangle (the maximum value of slop angle fiber). Abstract

We propose an algorithm to separate black object in binary image. The algorithm is designed to perform vertical separation first, then followed with horizontal separation. This process is done only once (one layer). Results showed that the algorithm potentially could be developed into n-layer separation in a recursive function. The algorithm also potentially could be developed in adaptive to determine when to use a vertical or horizontal separation first. It could be expected to reduce the recursive number.
