Abstract

Safety climate is vital element put on safety in a workplace organization. Attitudes, values, opinions and actions of workers in company may contribute to the perceptions and beliefs, and it will be possibly to change in the period of time and circumstance. The pandemic of COVID-19 has disrupted many aspects of life, including work safety climate in organization. Workers should be complied with tight rules and to raise their awareness of health risk and COVID-19 protocols. The study aims to overview the relationship between safety climate and COVID-19 aspects, as evidence that new adaptive behaviors can be implemented in the workplace. The study included 30 participants of oil and gas workers through online survey to assess demographic characteristics, health risks, outdoor activities, COVID-19 protocols and safety climate dimensions. Data set was performed with SPSS 24.0 to analyze safety climate items based on health risks, the possibility of outdoor exposures and the compliance of COVID-19 health protocols through independent-samples T test. The research study resulted those personal priorities and need for safety (p= 0.005) has different means among worker group with high and low health risk. Meanwhile communication perceived (p= 0.007) towards COVID-19 health protocols compliance has significant mean gap. In conclusion, the study will be utilized as pioneered evidence to make a further research about safety climate and COVID-19 aspects, which will be impactful to identify the perception in safety of organization.

Abstract

Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat (Puskesmas) merupakan pelayanan kesehatan yang paling dekat dengan masyarakat. Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas, fasilitas ini belum menjadi solusi untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya aspek-aspek yang memudahkan penyandang disabilitas dalam mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan. Artikel ini memperlihatkan gambaran puskesmas ramah disabilitas dibeberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Saat ini belum ada kebijakan mewajibkan suatu daerah memilki puskesmas ramah disabilitas dan belum ada ketentuan pemerintah terkait kriteria puskesmas ramah disabilitas. Adapun puskesmas yang diperlihatkan telah mendapat pengakuan dan kelayakan sebagai puskesmas ramah disabilitas, diantaranya Puskesmas Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Puskesmas Lendah 1 Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Puskesmas Salam Kecamatan Bandung Wetan Kota Bandung dan beberapa puskesmas lainnya. Aspek yang diperhatikan pada artikel ini dalam perwujudan Puskesmas Ramah Disabilitas adalah aspek pelaksana dan pembuat kebijakan, aspek aksesibilitas fisik dan aksesibilitas non-fisik. Aspek pelaksana atau pihak yang dapat dilibatkan meliputi pemerintah, tenaga kesehatan, organisasi atau lembaga penyandang disabilitas, keluarga penyandang disabilitas, tokoh masyakat, tokoh agama, masyarakat pada umumnya. Aspek aksesibilitas fisik dapat meliputi kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang sesuai dengan fungsi bagi penyandang disabilitas seperti guiding block, handrail, ramp, running text, Huruf braile, Tenaga Kesehatan, Pendamping Disabilitas (GAPENTAS), loket pendaftaran yang disesuaikan dan sarana lainnya. Aspek aksesibilitas non-fisik dapat meliputi pelatihan pendamping disabilitas, sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, program jemput bola, pelatihan komunikasi bagi tenaga kesehatan dan lainnya.

Abstract

In health care fields, burnout have negative impacts not only on self health, but also on patient’s healthcare. CBI is one of instruments in assessing burnout which has been widely referenced in previous study and highly adopted on several languages. This study aims to adopt CBI instrument so that can be used to measure burnout on health care workers in Indonesia. The adaptation process begins with forward translation and back translation from professional translator. After that, the translated instrument was pretested with cognitive interview method on 10 participant from different health care providers background. Cognitive interview conducted online with combination of verbal probing and thinking aloud to explore participant’s comprehension on every CBI items, included wording, structure of sentence, and the answer choice. There are nine items revised and adjusted to make it clear and more understandable. There is no item need to be deleted, so this CBI instrument can be used to measure burnout on Indonesian health care workers.

Abstract

The 2016 Global Nutrition Report noted that the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia was ranked 108 out of 132 countries. In a previous report, Indonesia was listed as one of 17 countries that experienced a double burden of nutrition, both excess and malnutrition. The stunting prevalence of DKI Jakarta Province from 27.5% (in 2013) to 17.7% (in 2018), the City of Administration area North Jakarta 0.59% (in 2018) and 0.5% (in 2019) to 3.35% (in 2020), and the District of Pademangan 0.7% (in 2018) and 0.4% (in 2019) to 6.42% (in 2020). This study aims to analyze the specific stunting integrative nutrition intervention service in the working area of ​​the Puskesmas Pademangan sub-district, North Jakarta. This qualitative research with rapid assessment procedure design uses primary data from in-depth interviews and FGDs and secondary data from document review. The results showed that planning and budgeting was not optimal, cross-sectoral cooperation and division of authority in government ranks which could be a potential obstacle to the acceleration of stunting prevention in the Pademangan sub-district, especially in the quality of stunting integrative specific nutrition intervention services carried out at the Pademangan District Health Center. In the input component, planning and budgeting as well as cross-sectoral cooperation and division of authority have not been carried out with direct implementation related to stunting integration. In the process component, namely services that are carried out on priority targets, they have been carried out but in terms of quality, namely knowledge about balanced nutrition and healthy living habits, it is still not implemented, especially by breastfeeding mothers and young women. In the output component, the quality of service, especially for mothers who provide exclusive breastfeeding and young women who receive blood-added tablets, has not yet been achieved. The role of cross-sectoral involvement and education from health workers to encourage mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding and young women to regularly consume blood-added tablets need to be improved and fully supported. Abstract

Neonatal Asphyxia is one the main causes of neonatal mortality in Indonesia with a percentage of 27%. Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is one of the factors that cause of nenonatal asphyxia. PROM causes oligohydramnios which compresses the umbilical cord so that it is narrowed and the blood flow that carries oxygen to the fetus is blocked, causing asphyxia. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between PROM and neonatal asphyxia. This study used a retrospective cohort study design. The samples of this study were are pregnant mothers who perform labor in Regional Public Hospital H. Abdoel Madjid Batoe Batang Hari, Jambi in 2020 selected based on simple random sampling method of 70 samples consisting of 35 exposed and 35 controls. The statistical test used is the multiple cox regression test with the risk factor model. There is association between PROM and neonatal asphyxia (RR= 4,34; 95% CI= 1,15 – 16,41, p-value=0,031) after controlled by gravidity, gestational age, anemia, preeclampsia, and birth weight. Based on study results, it is recommended for pregnant mother to consume vitamin C 100 mgper day to prevent PROM, carry out routine antenatal care, maintain blood pressure within normal ranges by paying attention to the food consumed, mangement and stress control, and consult a doctor before planning a pregnancy, especially for mothers who planned a second pregnancy for their second child and so on.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Filling dokumen Rekam medis di rumah sakit adalah untuk tercapainya tertib administrasi guna peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Pelaksanaan pelayanan kesehatan tidak lepas dari berkas rekam medis pasien. Berdasarkan Observasi yang kami lakukan di Rumah Sakit Hermina Arcamanik Bandung masih ditemukan adanya kesalahan penyimpanan (missfile) ataupun human eror sehingga menghambat dalam proses pengambilan, peminjaman, dan pengembalian berkas rekam medis dalam pelayanan kesehatan . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan filling rekam medis di Rumah Sakit Hermina Arcamanik Bandung. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, mengobservasi, wawancara, dan Studi Pustaka yang berkaitan dengan pokok permasalahan peneletian. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tidak adanya petugas tetap/khusus ataupun koordinator bagian filling dan setiap petugas mempunyai jobdesk yang banyak dikarenakan kurangnya SDM (Sumber daya manusia), kesalahan penomoran yang dapat mengakibatkan salah penempatan BRM (Berkas Rekam Medis), human eror disebabkan pencahayaan yang kurang, kapasitas rak yang tidak cukup serta tempat yang kurang luas. Diharapkan Rumah Sakit Hermina Arcamanik Bandung melakukan recruitment petugas untuk penambahan SDM (Sumber daya manusia) , penambahan sarana dan prasarana dibagian filling terutama penambahan fasilitas rak penyimpanan , dan Kepala Instalasi Rekam medis melakukan pengawasan terhadap berkas rekam medis.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang merupakan pandemi diseluruh dunia telah mempengaruhi pelayanan asuhan gizi di rumah sakit. Pelayanan asuhan asuhan gizi di rumah sakit yang meliputi dua kegiatan utama yaitu pelayanan asuhan gizi rawat inap dan penyelenggaraan makanan pun mengalami beberapa penyesuaian. Penyesuaian dilakukan untuk menjamin tersedianya asuhan gizi rumah sakit yang aman bagi pasien dan juga bagi tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui bagaimana melakukan tahapan asuhan gizi rawat inap bagi pasien yang terinfeksi COVID-19 serta bagaimana proses penyelenggaraan makan yang dimulai dari pemesanan makanaan hingga makanan tersebut sampai ke pasien dengan menerapkan prinsip pengendalian infeksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah studi literature review. Sumber pustaka yang digunakan dalam penyusunan artikel ini adalah dengan melakukan telaah jurnal dan buku pedoman dengan kata kunci pelayanan gizi di rumah sakit dan COVID-19. Kesimpulan: Alur pelayanan gizi bagi pasien COVID-19 meliputi dua kegiatan utama yaitu pelayanan asuhan gizi dan dietetik serta penyelenggaraan makanan. Proses asuhan gizi dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dimulai dengan asesmen, diagnosis, intervensi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan monitoring serta evaluasi. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kegiatan konstruksi yang dinamis sangat berpotensi membahayakan pekerja. Statistik internasional menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kecelakaan fatal terjadi di industri konstruksi. Konstruksi kelistrikan untuk area Jawa Tengah tahun 2020 terjadi kecelakaan yang menimbulkan kerugian. Kejadian kecelakaan tersebut adalah akumulasi dari nearmiss, perilaku tidak aman dan kondisi tidak aman. Tujuan : Menganalisis hubungan komitmen manajemen dan keterlibatan subkontraktor dengan perilaku keselamatan pada pekerja di PLN PUSMANPRO di project pembangunan kelistrikan PST JATENG I. Metode: Penelitian cross sectional ini melibatkan 100 orang pekerja pada Project PLN PUSMANPRO PST JATENG I yang dipilih secara tertentu. Variabel penelitian mencakup variabel komitmen manajemen dan keterlibatan subkontraktor sebagai variabel bebas dan perilaku keselamatan sebagai variabel terikat. Data primer diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner skala likert yang mengacu pada kuesioner dari beberapa penelitian sebelumnya pada variabel yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil: Ada hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan keterlibatan subkontraktor dengan perilaku keselamatan dengan P value = 0,000, nilai correlation 0,352 untuk komitmen organisasi dan 0,389 untuk keterlibatan subkontraktor. Kesimpulan: PLN PUSMANPRO PST JATENG I untuk membentuk perilaku keselamatan pada pekerja dapat melalui komitmen organisasi, keterlibatan subkontraktor serta fasilitas yang mendukung program keselamatan yang dapat mengurangi terjadinya kecelakaan pada proyek.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the health care system. Hospitals are required to be able to quickly change the design of their services, including in terms of resources and technology, which will become a new risk for patient safety. The lack of number of health workers and the increasing workload cause fatigue which has the potential to injure patients. Reports from the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Reporting System (PA-PSRS) from January 1, 2020 to April 15, 2020, there were 343 incident reports originating from 71 hospitals. This literature review aims to find out an overview of patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic and the steps that can be taken to improve it. Reference searches were conducted electronically sourced from PubMed, ISQua, and Google Scholar. From the results of the analysis, it was found that patient safety must always be a priority in hospital services even during the COVID pandemic. Strategies that can be taken to improve patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic are strengthening organizational systems, supporting patients and empowering the community, increasing safety in care, minimizing the risk of injury, and improving the learning system.
