Abstract

Organizational leaders are the determinants of the direction of a change so that to plan and implement organizational change, strong leadership is needed through leadership actions in influencing and directing organizational members to achieve change. This study aims to describe the role of leadership in change management in an organization. The method used is literature review. The results of this study are the importance of the role of leadership in management change. Change needs to be designed, engineered and managed by a strong, visionary, intelligent and developmental leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of KPRI PLN Area IV in 2019 - 2020 by using the Liquidity Ratio, Solvency Ratio, and Profitability Ratio. The elements selected from each ratio are Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Equity Ratio to Total Debt, Assets to Debt Ratio, Equity Profitability Ratio, and Asset Profitability Ratio. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Civil Servant Cooperative (KPRI) PLN Area IV, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The variable of this research is the financial performance of cooperatives as measured by a ratio analysis that has been determined based on the report on the Balance Sheet and Calculation of Business Results of KPRI PLN Area IV in 2019 – 2020. This study applies a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the Financial Performance produced by the Employee Cooperative of the Republic of Indonesia PLN Area IV has a weakness, namely the occurrence of over-liquid due to excess current assets that are idle or not utilized properly. Meanwhile, short-term fund management has been going well. For this reason, there are several suggestions that must be considered by the KPRI PLN Area IV cooperative

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, every agency requires every employee to be able to improve their performance. The increase in performance is strongly influenced by the role of management in carrying out effective leadership. The failure or success that will be achieved by a company is influenced by leadership and is supported by adequate company capacity so that the company's goals will be achieved. On the other hand, leadership weakness is one of the causes of the collapse of a company's performance. This shows how big the role of leadership in a company is, so that a leader is expected to have the ability to motivate, direct, influence and communicate with his subordinates so that organizational goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently. This study was conducted to find out how the influence of leadership at the Indonesian Business Polytechnic on the performance of all employees consisting of lecturers/teaching staff, staff and employees, so that it is known how the reward system influences employee performance, and also to determine the effect of leadership and the reward system together. on job satisfaction with the method of direct observation on the object of research. In this study, the data used are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires containing questionnaires to employees consisting of teaching staff, staff and employees at the Pematangsiantar Indonesian Business Polytechnic. The data analysis test used consisted of validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, namely data normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and research hypothesis tests, namely f test and t test.

Abstract

Economic conditions in various parts of the world are currently unstable because the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic cannot be overcome. All sectors were heavily affected. This condition is also experienced specifically by rural communities in parts of Indonesia. Previous researchers have also conducted research related to village economic recovery. One of the results of their research is to take advantage of the potential of agriculture and strengthen MSMEs. The specific purpose of this study was to analyze the technology-based village recovery strategy in Motung Village. The urgency of this research is to formulate a strategy in the context of village economic recovery based on IOT (Internet of Things). The analytical technique used in this study is the Miles and Huberman approach, namely the analysis process begins with data reduction, data display, and data verification/conclusion. The results of this study say that the village economic revovery strategy is to empower the community, build infrastructure related to technology, improve the quality of coffee agricultural products, distribution and marketing of coffee agricultural products, support creative economies.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of work discipline, job description and work facilities on work employee performance at CV. Sakura Makmur Santoso, Magelang district. The population used in the research were all employees of CV. Sakura Makmur Santoso with a total of 60 employees (respondents). The sampling technique is the non-probability sampling technique with the saturated sampling method. In this research using primary data, the method of data collection is by distributing questionnaires/questionnaires. This research is a quantitative research, the approach used is multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate that work discipline, job description, and work facilities have a positive and significant influence partially/directly on employee work performance as evidenced by the t value of the variable X1 X2 X3 > from t table (2.003) and the sig value on the variable X1 X2 X3 < 0.05, and the results of this research have a positive and significant simultaneous effect on the work performance of CV Sakura Makmur Santoso employees with a calculated F value of 25.824 > from F table of 2.76 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Human resources are needed by companies to realize organizational goals. To make it happen, companies need to pay attention to the work environment and work discipline so that employee performance can be maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance at CV Cahyo Utomo Kubah Nganjuk. The method used is a quantitative method and data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale as a measuring tool. The population and sample used are employees of the production division at CV Cahyo Utomo Dome with a total of 35 employees. The data used are primary data and secondary data using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. Based on the results of research that has been done: 1). A well-managed work environment can also have a good influence on employee performance at CV Cahyo Utomo Dome Nganjuk. 2). Good discipline has a good influence on the performance of employees of CV Cahyo Utomo, Nganjuk. Keywords: Work Environment, Work Discipline, Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the government's role, the role of the private sector, and the role of NGOs on community empowerment through corn cultivation in Sarimatondang Village. In addition, this study also aims to find out how community empowerment can affect family welfare. This research is a type of causal associative research conducted with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were corn farmers in Sarimatondang Village, Sidamanik District. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. While the method of data analysis was carried out using the PLS technique. The results in this study are expected to be input for the village community in developing the empowerment of corn cultivation in Sarimatondang Village, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency by knowing how the synergy of each role of the government, the private sector and NGOs is. he role of the government and the private sector is proven to have a positive and significant influence on community empowerment through corn cultivation. In addition, it is also proven that community empowerment has a positive influence on family welfare in Sarimatondang Village, Sidamanik District.

Abstract

This research has a purpose, namely to know Working Capital Managementin terms of Return On Investment (ROI) at PT. Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk. The subjects in this study were PT. Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk and the object research on financial statements for the period 2019-2020 which includes items in Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports. Data collection method used in this research is documentation. The data analysis method used in This research is financial ratio analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that the performance of capital management working capital seen from (1) working capital turnover is categorized as less because it is below 6 times (2) cash turnover is good because it is above 10 times (3) receivables turnover it's good because it has reached above 7.2 times (4) inventory turnover is still categorized as less because it is below the industry standard which is 3.4 times. Performance The company's ROI is good because it is above the industry average standard which is 5.08 times. Keywords: Working Capital Management, Return On Investment

Abstract

Lake Toba is one of the largest caldera lakes in the world, located in North Sumatra Province, Mel176 km to the west of Medan City. Lake Toba, which is one of the super priority tourist destinations that has been certified by UNESCO Global Geopark (UGG) at the world level. This provides a huge opportunity and responsibility for Indonesia, in advancing the economy and sustainable development in the area around Lake Toba. This study discusses the extent of the Role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Developing Lake Toba Tourism as the "Monaco of Asia". So that the use of ICT in the development of Danu Toba tourism will increase the number of local and international tourist visitors in the Lake Toba area. The results obtained in this study indicate that the role of information communication technology has a positive and significant effect on the development of Lake Toba Tourism. This is indicated by the tcount value of 53,961 which is greater than the t-table value of 0.088 and the significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the 0.05 significance value. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. which means, there is a significant positive influence of information communication technology in developing Lake Toba Tourism "Monaco of Asia".

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic had heavily affected Indonesian economy, especially for the tourism sector. The Indonesian government has taken numerous measures to respond to the Covid -19 pandemic such as large-scale social restrictions, restrictions on community activities, in which reduces community and impact on the tourism sector inevitably. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of service quality on the decision to visit Lake Toba tourist destinations. The research activity was carried out in Parapat, Simalungun Regency. This research uses descriptive and quantitative methods. Data were collected from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample used was 100 tourist respondents who visited Lake Toba Parapat during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression analysis. The test results have a positive and significant effect on service quality on the decision to visit Lake Toba tourist destinations. The influence of the service quality variable on the visit decision variable is 0.10, the remaining 0.80 is influenced by other factors not examined in this study such as psychological factors, economic factors during the Covid-19 pandemic. Efforts to increase tourist visits during the Covid-19 pandemic are carried out by paying attention to the tangible dimension and increasing other dimensions in service quality.
