This study uses 46 non-sharia general banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2021 to 2023. This study uses the number of boards of commissioners and audit committees as a measure of the board of commissioners and audit committee variables, this study uses a financial risk disclosure index compiled based on PSAK 107. To test the research hypothesis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study empirically prove that the existence of the board of commissioners and audit committee can significantly affect the level of financial risk disclosure on financial instruments in general banking in Indonesia so that it can be concluded that the role of supervision of the audit committee and board of commissioners is able to strengthen management compliance with the provisions of accounting standards according to PSAK applicable in Indonesia.

Abstract

A notary is a public official who works based on the authority according to the Notary Law (UUJN). The authority of a notary is regulated, among other things, in Article 15 (1) of the UUJN. A notary has the authoritymake authentic deeds regarding all acts, agreements, and determinations required by laws and regulations. The problem is that notaries as public officials generally work in the realm of civil legal acts. However, in carrying out duties mandated by law and of a civil nature, in public office notaries can be held criminally responsible in criminal courts, either as witnesses or even as suspects and convicts due to the deeds they make. The conflicting situation of das sollen versus das sein requires a ratio legis. For this reason, this research was conducted using a legal research method, with complementary support in the form of empirical data, the results of observations on data from 111 notaries in North Sumatra who were involved in casescriminal in that area. The study found that the presence of a notary in providing criminal responsibility is possible, with the approval of the Regional Notary Honorary Council (MKNW), as happened in 2023. Approval from the MKNW is given after being requested by Law Enforcement Officers (APH). The authority to provide approval from the MKNW is in order to carry out the mandate of Article 66 (1) of Law No. 2 of 2014 in conjunction with the Minister of Law and Human Rights RegulationNo. 17 of 2021; among others, to carry out notary guidance through granting or refusing approval requested by APH to allow notaries to be held criminally responsible in the investigation, prosecution and trial process. However, the authority to grant MKNW permits still seems less able to reduce the number of indications of notary involvement in a criminal act related to a deed made by a notary.

Abstract

Increasing competition in the business world has made companies actively expand their businesses; these activities certainly cannot be separated from capital, one of the ways for companies to obtain funds is by conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. An interesting phenomenon when conducting an IPO is the phenomenon of underpricing. Underpricing is a phenomenon where the price of shares traded in the primary market is lower than the price of shares when traded in the secondary market. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of return on equity, debt to equity ratio and company size on underpricing in companies conducting an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. This type of research is basic research. The research method used is the verification method. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method that is based on certain criteria so that the number of samples obtained is 72 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis (partial test), which is processed using SPSS version 25.0 for windows. Based on the results of the study, return on equity affects underpricing, firm size influences underpricing, while the debt to equity ratio has no effect on underpricing.

Abstract

Generation Z in Jakarta has shown a significant decline in interest in becoming a civil servant, a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly evident among young people in the capital city. This research aims to identify and analyse the main factors influencing this generation's changing attitudes and career preferences towards civil servants. To gain a more in-depth picture, the methods used in this research include a review of relevant literature, as well as in-depth interviews with a number of representatives from Generation Z who are currently studying or have entered the workforce. These interviews provided direct insight into their views and aspirations for careers, particularly in the public sector. The results of this research revealed several key factors that have contributed to Generation Z's declining interest in joining the public sector, particularly in civil service positions. The first factor identified was a change in work preferences that increasingly prioritises flexibility, creative freedom, and a more dynamic work environment. Generation Z is more likely to be attracted to jobs that offer room to grow and channel their creativity, something that is perceived to be easier to obtain in the private sector or creative industries compared to the often rigid and bureaucratic public sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stylistic elements in four poems of Emily Dickinson. Using a formalistic approach, this research focuses on three main aspects: semantic deviation, syntactic deviation, and discourse deviation, to reveal the distinctive style and profound meaning in the poems. This research uses a qualitative analysis method with a descriptive-analytic approach. Data collection was done by reading the five poems carefully using the close reading method. The analysis focused on identifying patterns of linguistic deviation and other textual elements that form Dickinson's stylistic characteristics. The results show that semantic deviations in Emily Dickinson's poems allow the poet to express abstract ideas, such as death, hope, and spirituality, through the use of metaphors, symbols, and personification. Syntactic deviations, such as inversions and the use of dashes, create unique rhythms and pauses, deepening the meaning and emotional atmosphere of the poems. Reflective and non-linear discourse structures, as well as imperfect rhyme patterns, provide a musical dimension that enriches the harmony between innovation and tradition in the poems. The findings suggest that the combination of such deviations not only enriches Dickinson's poetic style, but also reinforces universal themes such as life, death, and transcendence. This research confirms the importance of a formalistic approach in understanding how elements of language and formal structure contribute to the aesthetic appeal and deep meaning in her work

Abstract

Halal certification in Indonesia has a very important role, not only from a religious perspective, but also from an economic, social, and legal perspective. Before the One Roof System, halal certification tended to be inefficient, expensive, and less transparent. This hampers the development of the halal industry in Indonesia, both nationally and internationally. With the one-roof policy, it is hoped that the challenges in halal certification can be overcome through a more centralized, standardized, and transparent process. The problem is, how is the one-roof system policy implemented by BPJPH in the context of the halal certification process and international cooperation in the digital era? Because through the digitalization carried out by BPJPH with a one-roof system, there are obstacles in its regulations. Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance and Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 42 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of the Halal Product Assurance Sector have not regulated the one-roof system mechanism. Government Regulation Number 42 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of the Halal Product Assurance Sector does not explicitly mention the one-roof system. However, this Government Regulation implicitly supports the concept to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of halal certification. The research method is normative legal. In conclusion, halal technology refers to the use of technology in supporting the certification process, production, distribution, and supervision of halal products. In the digital era like today, technology plays a crucial role in accelerating, simplifying, and increasing the accuracy of processes related to the halalness of products. Through the use of this digital technology, the halal certification system becomes more modern, integrated, and easily accessible to all parties. This supports the growth of a more efficient and reliable halal industry in the future.
