<![CDATA[ In the process of carrying out the research, researchers looked at the ability of students to learn mathematics in SD Kramat Jati 24 East Jakarta, especially in multiplication counting operations. This condition is caused by a lack of motivation and curiosity of students in mathematics subjects, so that student learning outcomes are still not maximal. To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in calculating operating material using puzzle house multiplication media is the purpose of the study. The method is class action research with the Kemmis & Taggart model. The results of the study obtained an increase in the percentage of KKM achievement from preclusions of 28.4% where in the KKM cycle students only 65.5% got an increase to 78.1% in the first cycle and in the second cycle they got an increase to 94%. This shows that the use of multiplication house puzzles in mathematical counting operating materials can improve learning outcomes and make students more creative and effective. Researchers hope the results of this study can be useful for readers, for teachers, for parents and other education practitioners in guiding students in the learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[This reseach aims to know influence of integrated learning with nested model with conceptual understanding the perimeter and area quadrilaterals. This reseach was conducted at SD Islam Harapan Ibu Pondok Pinang academic year 2018/2019. Randomized control group only design is the methode in this reseach. Subject for this reseach are 55 students consist of 30 students of experimen class and 25 students of control class which is cluster random sampling technique from 5th grade. The instrument used to collect data with essay in 8 questions. The conceptual understanding of the perimeter and area quadrilaterals in experimen class that used integrated learning with nested model includes understanding for scoring translation is 82%, interpretation is 85,3%, and extrapolation is 61,3% even in conventional class for scoring translation is 84,8%, interpretation is 79,3%, and extrapolation is 43,8%. The conclution of this research is the conceptual understanding of the perimeter and area quadrilaterals in experimen class that used integrated learning nested model is better than used conventional learning (thitung = 2,10 > ttabel = 1,68).]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) find out the understanding of fourth grade students of SD IT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna in reading stories (2) find efforts / solutions to improve students' understanding of grade IV SD IT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna in reading stories. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection in this research is by test, interview and documentation. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Elementary School, totaling 28 students. While the object of this research is students' understanding in reading stories. The results showed that students who were able to answer questions more than 50% on the indicator (1) Identifying themes in the reading as much as 85%, (2) Identifying the main points in reading as much as 75%, (3) Mentioning the names figures in reading as much as 82%, (4) Identifying the nature / character of characters in reading as much as 85% (5) Mentioning background / place in reading as much as 75%, and (6) Finding information in the text through reading activities as much as 60%. Whereas for students who have not been able to answer questions less than 50%, the indicator (7) explains the mandate / message in the story as much as 36%, and (8) concludes the reading contents in coherent and communicative language as much as 36%. Teacher's efforts / solutions to improve students' understanding in reading stories, that is, teachers do a variety of ways and guide students to practice reading then are identified by students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the online-based learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic that began in March 2020, because Indonesia is one of the countries affected by this pandemic. This caused Indonesia to call for work from home and online learning to slow down the spread of Covid-19. Online based learning used in this study is learning that utilizes the use of Whatsapp in information communication tools. The presentation in this article is part of qualitative research report description whose main focus is to look at the learning process carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. The result showed that there are factors that greatly influence the learning process when carried out online. In this case, Whatsapp-assisted online learning experiences several obstacles to the learning process of student in elementary schools.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted in class III public elementary school 2 Pasirkembang with a total of 28 students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The procedure in this study went through two cycles, where each cycle consisted of; (1) the planning stage, (2) the implementation phase of the action, (3) the observation phase, (4) the reflection pahse. Collecting data in this study using observation sheets of student learning activities, observation aheets of teacher activities in using the index card match learning model, test questions to measure students’ understanding of concepts in the material addition and subtraction of numbers, and use aquestionnaire to determine student responses to the learning model index card match. Data analysis techniques in this research are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the application of numbers in class III public elementary school 2 Pasirkembang could increase learning activities and concept understanding. This reults can be seen from the average value of cycle I activity (61%), in cycle II (88%) and an increase of (27%). Average learning outcomes of students’ understanding of concepts in the material addition and subtraction of numbers in the first cycle (64%), in the second (92%).]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic, which has spread in almost all parts of Indonesia, has not yet been declared complete. So that it has a big influence on the learning system in schools. Distance learning (PJJ) is the most appropriate way in this situation. Likewise with PJJ in the month of Ramadan this year, different from previous years. The role of the principal and the class guardian is so important so that the learning process continues to run well. The low level of student participation in the first week of PJJ in Ramadan 1441 H is the background of this research. The purpose of this research is to increase student participation in carrying out PJJ Ramadhan in the Covid-19 era. Empowerment of classmates through Google classroom, WhatsApp and other media is used as the method in this research. So that the following results were obtained: there was an increase in the participation of class VII students who joined the Google classroom by 14%, class VIII students 8%, while class VII who submitted assignments, increased by 50%, class VIII was 90% of the number of students who submitted assignments on Cycle 1. So it can be concluded that the empowerment of the teacher through Google classroom, WhatsApp and other media can be chosen as a solution to overcome the problem of student participation that is still lacking. Motivation and support from all parties can increase student participation rates.]]>

<![CDATA[Primary school students are the first generation of literature, especially poetry. Understanding of poetry certainly needs to be conveyed with methods and teaching materials that are sufficient to facilitate current needs. The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education and Culture has disseminated integrated textbooks (Buku Tematik), one of which contains poetry lessons. This study aims to determine the extent of coverage of poetry teaching materials in the thematic books of grade IV with the Cita-Citaku theme. This research was conducted using a qualitative content analysis method on thematic books of grade IV with the Cita-Citaku theme. The data were collected by categorizing the contents of the book material into a number of categories of learning stages. The findings data were then validated using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the thematic book of grade IV with the Cita-citaku theme contains the educational side of learning poetry in the form of language features (words, lines, stanzas and rhymes). Future research is expected to reveal the coverage of the material in the thematic books for grades V and VI.]]>

<![CDATA[Education is the main means of improving the quality of human resources, without education it will be difficult to obtain maximum results from the quality of human resources. As a result of the covid-19 pandemic, various policies were implemented to break the chain of spreading the covid-19 virus in Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on various sectors, one of which is education. The world of education also feels the impact. Educators must ensure teaching and learning activities continue, even though students are at home. The solution, educators are required to design learning media as an innovation by utilizing online media. This is in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding Circular Number 4 of 2020 concerning Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency for the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). The learning system is implemented through television media. Educators can learn together at the same time using groups on social media such as WhatsApp (WA), telegram, Instagram, zoom applications or other media as learning media. Thus, educators can ensure students follow the learning at the same time, even though in different places. Educators can also give measurable assignments in accordance with the objectives of the material presented to students. However, cases that often occur when the application of television media-based learning systems include, not all students have TVRI television channels, the purpose of this study is to describe the opinions of third grade students about television media-based learning during the pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods.]]>

<![CDATA[Education creates a person of high quality and character so that he has a broad view in the future to achieve the ideals that are expected and able to adapt quickly and precisely in various environments. Unforeseen circumstances in the form of the Covid-19 disease outbreak have brought urgent changes in various sectors including the education sector. The new policy was made in the world of education, namely the technical changes face to face learning to be online. Recently a new policy has emerged called New Normal is to re-enact activities or activities of the general public, but still implemented with health protocols. This study has the aim to describe the role of teachers in the readiness of learning activities in elementary schools with the application of New Normal. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the results of the study found that teachers are ready to carry out learning in the new normal period by applying health protocols and making new regulations at school. So that from all of this research it can be concluded that the teachers at SDN 1 Cikembar already understand what will be done in learning in the new normal times that will be applied]]>

<![CDATA[A joyful on the learning process makes the achievement of learning objectives easy to be achieved. Sometimes learning is placed as a game for low grade students, especially singing. Singing activities are popular for lower class students before entering the primary school. This study aims to determine the frequency of the songs contained in the integrated thematic book of the 2013 revision curriculum. This research was conducted using the quantitative content analysis method on 24 thematic books published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017. The research data were analyzed by grouping the songs being taught. The research findings were validated in two ways, namely internal and external. Internal validation was done by triangulating data sources. External validation is done by using all members of the population as a sample. The results of the study revealed that learning through songs in low grades gradually decreased in quantity. Further research is suggested to determine the extent to which songs can provide learning content from a syntactic, semantic, pragmatic and / or hermeneutic point of view.]]>
