Abstract

Health service through Prolanis (Program Pengelolaan Penyakit Kronis or Chronic Disease Management Program in English) is a management program for health maintenance in order to achieve an optimal quality of life. One of the targets of prolanis is patients with hypertension. Hypertension can cause the blockage of uric acid crystals in blood vessels so that kidney function is disrupted. As a result, there is an increase in uric acid levels. Based on a preliminary study conducted on March 14, 2022, at Puskesmas Klirong II, it was found that 23 prolanis patients had complaints of joint pain, while 38 of them had hypertension. This research aimed to find out whether there is a correlation between uric acid levels and the incidence of hypertension in prolanis patients at Puskesmas Klirong II. The population was 50 people with a sample of 37 people. The sample was obtained by employing random sampling. This was an Analytical Observational research with a Cross-Sectional research design. The uric acid levels were checked with the Urikase-PAP photometer method. This research was conducted in May 2022. The results showed that 4 respondents had normal uric acid levels and normal blood pressure. On the other hand, there were 12 respondents who had normal uric acid levels and high blood pressure. Meanwhile, the other 21 respondents had high uric acid levels and high blood pressure. The results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test obtained a p-value = 0.028 <0.05. It was concluded that there was a correlation between uric acid levels (photometer method) and the incidence of hypertension in prolanis patients at Puskesmas Klirong II, Kabupaten Kebumen.

Abstract

Mother's behavior in providing complementary foods greatly affects the nutritional status of toddlers. One way to improve the behavior of mothers in providing complementary foods to breast milk is to provide health education. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling on the management of food ingredients (moringa leaves) MPASI on the behavior of mothers who have babies aged 7-12 months in Tegal Sari Village in 2022. The method used pre-experimental designwith pre-test and post-test group design. The sample with total sampling technique was 32 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Wilcoxon testbecause the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that the behavior of mothers in providing complementary feeding to infants aged 6-12 months after receiving counseling on the management of food ingredients (moringa leaves) was mostly good, as many as 19 people (59.4%). The results of statistical test analysis showed that there was a significant difference with the value of z=-5.109 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a significant influence on the behavior of mothers in providing complementary foods to breast milk before and after health education is carried out on the management of food ingredients (moringa leaves).

Abstract

Low milk production is the main problem for new mothers, besides the problem of sinking or flat nipples, swollen breasts, the baby is reluctant to suckle due to improper technique or the baby has a short tongue. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving soy milk (soybean milk) to increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Nasywa Clinic in 2022. This study used the methodpre-experimental designby designone group pretest-posttest without control. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Respondents who were used as samples were 30 postpartum mothers who had problems with insufficient breast milk. The bivariate analysis used in this study was a nonparametric difference test with the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that from 30 respondents, 21 people (70%) complained of not having soy milk before being given the intervention. The increase in breast milk production after being given soy milk was 19 people (63.3%) in the category of smooth breastfeeding and 11 people (36.7%) with non-fluent breast milk. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant effect of giving soy milk (soybean milk) to increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Nasywa Clinic in 2022, with a value of p = 0.002 (p <0.05).

Abstract

The performance of nurses in RSUD Dr. Djoelham Binjai is still unable to provide the best health services to patients due to the lack of optimal work motivation of nurses and the lack of awareness of nurses about work status as a function of health services. To determine the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation with the performance of honorary nurses. This research uses survey research with explanatory research type. The population in this study were all honorary nurses in the Inpatient Room totaling 150 people using the total population sampling technique Random sampling with the Slovin formula, which was 109 people. Univariate analysis to explain the independent variables, namely intrinsic motivation, extrinsic and nurse performance. bivariate analysis using chi-square test and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression. Showed that intrinsic motivation (p=0.001) had an effect on the performance of nurses at Djoelham Binjai Hospital with an Ods Ratio of 13,486. Extrinsic motivation (p=0.008) affects the performance of nurses at Djoelham Binjai Hospital with an Ods Ratio of 11.457, thus intrinsic is the most influential variable compared to extrinsic motivation variables. It is expected that hospitals should intensify technical training to improve the performance of health workers, one of which is a nurse. Hospitals should encourage, send, evaluate nurses to take part in training held by external parties to the hospital and head nurses should be more flexible in accepting nurse input to increase participatory efforts from employees under them.
