Abstract

he job that gets much exposure to gasoline is selling gasoline, exposed to gasoline fumes quite often. Workers are significantly at risk of DNA damage due to the genotoxic nature of these substances. Currently, there are still many gas station workers who do not use PPE when working. Workers do not seem to pay attention and maintain personal hygiene while working. After holding the gas station and holding the money directly, eat food. Protective equipment in the workplace is often neglected by workers or employees, even by workplace management. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the characteristics of individuals using PPE at Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) workers. Method: This type of research is cross-sectional. The population is 46 people; using Saturated Sampling, that is the whole population. Results: the results of the study found that there was a relationship between Age, Education, Marital Status, and Period of Service with the Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at Public Fuel Filling Station (Spbu) Workers in South Aceh Regency as evidenced by a value > 0.0 00. The group that completed PPE was more dominant than the female sex group as many as ten people (62.5%), aged 30 years ten people (71.4%), secondary education 12 people (63.2%), marital status 11 people (68.8%), 11 people (64.7%), the p-value for each indicator is less than 0.05, so there is a significant relationship between each characteristic: gender, age, education, marital status, and years of service with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Female gender, age group more than or equal to 30 years, married status, secondary education, and working period of more or equal to 2 years are more aware of completing PPE. It is recommended that male workers under 30 years, unmarried, with primary education, and working period of under two years must use complete PPE when working. Companies and the government pay attention to the safety and health of workers.

Abstract

Sectio Caesarea has recently become a trend because it is considered more practical and less painful, so it is not surprising that it has become the second most common obstetric surgery used in Indonesia and abroad. Sectio caesarea surgery is the main choice for medical personnel to save the mother and fetus. World Health Organization or World Health Organization (WHO) the delivery rate with Sectio Caesarea is around 10-15% of all labor processes (WHO, 2015). In Indonesia the delivery rate with Sectio Caesarea reaches 9.8% and in Yogjakarta the prevalence of childbirth with Sectio Caesarea reaches 15% this prevalence is quite high looking at The highest prevalence occurs in Jakarta, which is 19.9% (RISKESDAS, 2014). This research is descriptive in nature, that is, it aims to identify the actions of nurses in adhering to fixed procedures for postoperative wound care for Sectio Caesarea at Martha Friska Pulo Brayan General Hospital in 2018. Using education and experience research variables. The data collected using a questionnaire as many as 10 statements filled out by observing 45 respondents. The data collected is presented in the form of a frequency distribution table and then discussed using the existing literature method. The results of the research that has been done are known that the actions of nurses in complying with fixed procedures for postoperative wound care caesarean section are the majority obedient as many as 40 respondents (88.8%) of 45 respondents. Based on DIII education the majority obeyed as many as 25 respondents (55.5%), the majority of S1 education complied with 15 respondents (33.3%). Based on the experience of 1-6 years, the majority were compliant with 36 respondents (80%), 7-12 years the majority were obedient, 4 respondents (8.9%). The conclusion of this research is that the minority DIII education is 5 respondents based on education, the minority 1-6 years experience is 5 respondents based on experience. Suggestions are expected for nurses who work in the health sector so that every action of postoperative wound care for Sectio Caesarea is in accordance with the established SOP

Abstract

The phenomenon of people preferring to seek treatment abroad instead of using domestic health services is a big challenge. This challenge can be answered by improving quality in all fields, especially the health sector. So, this is what will help health service providers in setting strategies to meet the needs of the community in the health sector. The purpose of the study was to determine the need, demand, and utility of public health services in the work area of the Marsabut Lake Health Center, South Tapanuli Regency. Types of quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The population is a community living in the working area of Lake Marsabut, South Tapanuli Regency. With a sample number of 60 people. The study was conducted in June 2022. The results of research related to need showed that the main needs of respondents related to health service facilities were quality and distance ≤ 3 km. Community demand is dental poly and general poly services provided by Marsabut Lake, South Tapanuli Regency.

Abstract

Anxiety is an emotional reaction to the perception of danger, either real or imagined. Anxiety is a common reaction to disease because disease is perceived as a general threat to life, health, and the integrity of the body. Anxiety can result in an increase in blood pressure or blood sugar in surgery patients. This type of research is a quasi experiment with a one group pre-post test design. With the aim of knowing to identify the effect of the guide imagery relaxation technique on the anxiety level of pre-op vitrectomy patients at the SMEC Medan Special Eye Hospital in 2021. The population is all pre-op vitrectomy patients at the Medan SMEC Eye Specialist Hospital in 2021, as many as 15 people. Based on the results of the study showed that the anxiety level of pre-op vitrectomy patients before the guide imagery relaxation technique was performed, the majority of respondents experienced severe anxiety (Score 28-42) as many as 8 people (53.3%), and the minority experienced Panic (Score 43-56) as many as 1 person. (6.7%). Then after the guide imagery relaxation technique was performed, the majority of mild anxiety (score 14-20) were 9 people (60%), minority moderate anxiety (score 21-27) were 6 people (40%). The results of the statistical test showed that the mean value of the pre-test was 3.93 and the post-test was 2.33 so that a difference of 1.6 was obtained, then the standard deviation of the pre-test was 1.280 and the post-test value was 0.488, so the difference was 0.792 with a significant p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early days of birth, but stunting only appears after the child is 2 years old (Kemenkeu, 2018). Children who experience stunting can experience impaired physical, mental, cognitive and intellectual development so that children are not able to learn optimally. Stunting children have low cognitive abilities, if not treated before reaching the age of five years, they can have an impact until adulthood and are at risk of death and will give birth to children with low birth weight (Soetjiningsih, 2013). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge and work regarding the growth and development of toddlers with the incidence of stunting at the Dabun Gelang Health Center, Dabun Gelang District, Gayo Luwes Regency in 2021. The type of research conducted is descriptive analytical, the population in the study is 578 people and a sample of 57 people is taken, using Accidental Sampling. The data collected in the study is primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of the study were that the majority of respondents lacked knowledge as many as 31 (54.4%) respondents with short stunting, 23 (40.3%%) respondents. From the results of statistical tests obtained P value of 0.003 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about growth and development of toddlers with stunting. the majority do not work as many as 30 (52.6%) respondents with short 25 (43.8%) respondents. From the statistical test results obtained P value 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the mother's work on the growth and development of children under five with the incidence of stunting. It is hoped that health workers at the Dabun Gelang Health Center can encourage and foster the community to better maintain health and improve the growth and development of toddlers so as to minimize the risk of stunting

Number Dead Mother (BATTERY) until moment this still high , wrong one the cause is infection . Infection time postpartum can caused because wound perineum which no treated so that no recover . Care wound perineum could conducted by pharmacology and non pharmacology . Wrong one care by non pharmacology is consume ingredient herbs that is drink boiled water ginger red ( Zingiber officinale Var.Rosc.Rubrum ) because contain substance anti- inflammatory . Purpose : for knowing effectiveness drink water stew ginger red ( Zingiber officinaleVar.Rosc.Rubrum ) against healing wound perineum on mother postpartum in Clinic Trismalia Deli Serdang Year 2020. Method : Design study quasi experimenter with design posttest only control group with amount sample 38 respondent , taken by consecutive , data healing perineum obtained by observation . Result : Time healing wound perineum on group respondent drink water white median 16 (min- max : 11-23) whereas group respondent drink boiled water ginger red ( Zingiber officinaleVar.Rosc.Rubrum ) median 13 (min-max :8 -20). After tested with Test Mann- Whitney with score significant 0.002 (p < 0.05) so there is difference time recovery wound perineum mother postpartum on second group that is group drink water stew ginger red ( Zingiber officinaleVar.Rosc.Rubrum ) more fast healed compared to group drink white water . Conclusion : Drink boiled water ginger red ( Zingiber officinaleVar.Rosc.Rubrum ) effective in healing mother's perineal wound breath . Suggestion: Recommended on power health so that give counseling in give water stew ginger red ( Zingiber officinaleVar.Rosc.Rubrum ) for healing perineal wound and on respondent in order to get spread results study for healing wound perineum, for researcher next so that researching to Step which more continued

Abstract

Breast milk is the primary source of nutrition for newborns and toodler, containing fat, protein, carbohydrates and variable minerals and vitamins. Breast milk also contains substances that help protect an infant against infection and inflammation, whilst also contributing to healthy development of the immune system and gut microbiome. Effort for increase exclusive breastfeeding among mother is increase of mother knowledge through education. Utilization of the sociodrama method in education will make it easy delivery message to mother. The aim of this study is to identified the effect of exclusive breastfeeding education through telehealth with the sociodrama method towards knowledge of post partum mother. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study were postpartum mothers, sampling was taken a total sampling of 31 postpartum mothers who were in the working area of ​​the Cibeber Health Community Center at Cimahi City. The primary data collection technique used was a questionnaire with a sociodrama video intervention. Data analyzed by paired t test non parametic wilcoxon at a significant level of 5%. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an effect of providing exclusive breastfeeding education through telehealth with the sociodrama method on mother's knowledge. The recommendation based on the results of this study is that health workers use the sociodrama method as an alternative media in providing education to breastfeeding mothers

Abstract

The use of a birth ball during labor can reduce pain levels because it stimulates postural reflexes and keeps the muscles and spine in good condition, thereby reducing anxiety, minimal use of pethidine, facilitates descent of the fetal head, reduces the length of the first stage. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of counterpressure with birth balls on reducing labor pain in the 1st stage of labor. Types of quantitative research and pre-experimental design. The sample were 16 mothers and the sampling technique was Accidental Sampling. The research instrument was observation sheet with univariate and bivariate analysis. Data analysis used paired sample t test. The results showed that there was an effect of counterpressure with birth balls on reducing labor pain in the 1st stage, with p-value 0.000 <0.05, while the results of the different test with independent t-test obtained p-value = 0.006, which means that there was a difference between the groups that were treated with counterpressure. Birth Ball and what not to do on the reduction of labor pain in the 1st stage. It is hoped that the Sinta Medika Clinic can be an innovation for health services, especially in the field of maternity care to reduce maternal pain in the first stage

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease caused by high blood glucose levels. Blood glucose is a sugar that functions as an energy source for humans, formed from carbohydrates consumed and then stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles. Examining blood glucose levels can be done in two ways, namely using a photometer and a glucometer. This study aimed to determine differences in the results of blood glucose checks measured using a photometer and glucometer. The research was conducted with an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in June 2022. The population in this study were all Prolanis participants at the Klirong 1 Public Health Care Center. The sampling technique in this study used the accidental sampling technique. The data analysis used paired sample T-test. The results of the blood glucose checks using a photometer and glucometer showed a p-value (0.000) and alpha value (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the results of blood glucose checks using a photometer and a glucometer.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignant process that occurs in the cervix / cervix so that the surrounding tissue cannot carry out its function as it should. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 490 thousand women were diagnosed with cancer, 240 thousand of them died, 80% of these cases occurred in developing countries. Research objective: to determine the knowledge description of married women of reproductive age about cervical cancer in the environment II sub-district of peace, sub-district of stabat, Langkat district in 2013. Research methodology: This type of research is a descriptive survey using primary data. The population in this study were married women of childbearing age in the neighborhood II of Peace Village with a sample of 40 people. The results obtained that the majority of 40 respondents lacked knowledge as many as 22 respondents (55%), based on age >35 years as many as 24 (60.0%) based on high school education as many as 24 respondents (60%) with sufficient knowledge, based on occupation the majority of IRT were 28 (70%), based on sources of information from health workers as many as 18 (45%). Suggestions It is hoped that the community will be more active in seeking information related to women's health maintenance.
