Abstract

The Indonesian Adventist University Facility Reservation Information System is designed and designed to provide services and convenience in terms of managing and managing the facilities available at the Indonesian Adventist University and reducing data collection that is still done manually in order to improve performance efficiency and online adjustments. WhatsApp is a social media platform that most people are interested in because it is easy to access and looks friendly to visitors. This information system is designed using the Agile method and notifications will be sent via WhatsApp with details regarding the results of the facilities ordered. The results of the study are that organizational management can order facilities and notifications will automatically be sent to WhatsApp for those who order and do not need to spend paper to print licensing letters and time to go to various superior rooms to ask for approval.

Abstract

Information technology has become an important requirement in advancing the company. Various information technologies that can be used for work purposes, one of which is a website-based application. At the General Finance Education and Training Center, there are still deficiencies in loan management in the areas of administration with households and asset management. The management of borrowing goods that occur is not well coordinated so that they experience a lack of effectiveness and efficiency in working as needed by the world of work in the current era. So to overcome these problems, the researchers designed an application for borrowing and returning goods based on a website. In this study, the method used is RAD (Rapid Application Development) then in software modeling the researcher uses UML modeling. The result of this research is to create an inventory website that can help in managing goods at the Financial Education and Training Center.

Abstract

The BAZNAS Scholarship Institution or LBB is a program and utilization tasked with providing education funds to ensure the continuity of educational programs for underprivileged or poor students as intergenerational accountability. This study aims to find out (1) how is the procedure for distributing zakat funds in the form of scholarships, (2) the obstacles faced in distributing zakat funds in the form of scholarships, (3) the efforts made in overcoming obstacles in distributing zakat funds in the form of scholarships. Collecting data in this study using the method of documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that (1) the procedures carried out in providing scholarships are very good, (2) the obstacles experienced in distributing zakat funds in the form of scholarships, namely BAZNAS RantauPrapat City, lack of coordination between BAZNAS and the school, and the amount of scholarship funding have not met educational needs, (3) efforts to overcome these obstacles can be done by good coordination with schools, increasing coordination between BAZNAS and schools, and providing services and facilities for zakat givers.This study aims to analyze the Labuhanbatu Baznas Program in providing scholarships in Labuhanbatu using the Rough Set algorithm. The analysis was carried out based on facts and data obtained at the BAZNAS Rantauprapat office using Rosetta Software for testing. The results of this study produce a rule that can be used to make future decision-making policies during data processing.

Abstract

Intent detection is a process of classifying customer intention from given sentence or chatting. One of the uses of intent detection is in a chatbot. With intent detection, the chatbot can detect the customer intent. However, currently the use of intent detection has not been implemented by most companies in Indonesia. A good intent detection method for chatbots is one that is able to classify user intentions accurately and quickly. This study aims to perform intent detection of messages from the Indonesian language chatbot dataset obtained from customer conversations of PT. Kazee using the Capsule Network(CapsNet) method. With this research, it is hoped that the chatbot of PT. Kazee can respond to customers more appropriately. On this study we conducted experiments and analyze the use of Capsule Network (CapsNet) method in detecting the intent of PT. Kazee customers conversation. The dataset of the experiments contains questions about PT. Kazee. There are two types of datasets—a dataset with six intentions and a dataset with 18 intentions. We compare the result of this experiment with the BERT intent detection model we used previously. The experiment show that the execution time of CapsNet method is faster than that of BERT. However, BERT is still superior to the CapsNet for the ability to respond appropriately. The CapsNet method can be considered for use on chatbots that are more concerned with execution speed.

Abstract

Climate change has many causes, one of which is an increase in atmospheric temperature or commonly called global warming. As a result of global warming, the climate around plants can become unfavorable to support the growth of crop production. One of the agricultural sectors affected by global warming is the greenhouse. These problems can be solved by implementing the internet of things and the nRF24L01 communication module in the greenhouse. This system will provide information in the form of temperature sensor readings, soil moisture sensors, soil pH and light intensity that can be seen without having to come to the greenhouse because this tool will send the monitoring results using the nRF24L01 communication module. Greenhouse owners or farmers can monitor the condition of their plants through the android-based blynk application, so they can maximize their harvests. An analysis was carried out regarding plants that use the internet of things and those that do not use the internet of things for several days. The results obtained from this analysis are plants that use the internet of things have better results and are cheaper in terms of costs.

Abstract

Employee attendance at the Padang Pariaman Social Service Office uses a fingerprint system, but since April 2020 due to the COVID19 virus, fingerprints cannot be used anymore, this is to reduce the spread of the COVID19 virus. Currently the attendance is implemented in the form of a google form so that it makes data collection and calculation of attendance hours, hours out, until the information does not come in has an impact on the relatively long time in the process of recapitulating attendance from employees, errors in recording data, and making it difficult for the Head of the Administration in the management process. attendance data. Based on these problems the authors designed a website-based information system using the prototyping method using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The information system created can provide convenience for the administrative section in recapitulating employee attendance data. Then after testing the system using the blackbox method, it was found that all existing features could function as expected.

Abstract

One of the disorders of mental health that often occurs in individuals is depression. Identifying depression in the first place is important for the individual. But in fact, conducting an early examination of depression still has some drawbacks. If it continues to be ignored, this can have an impact on the health of the individual. Therefore, there is a need for other methods that can represent the level of depression in individuals, through other media such as social media such as Twitter. Twitter has become one of the media to tell what users of the application experience or feel. This is encouraging to detect of depression in Twitter users. The data used is data taken from the results of the distribution of forms based on DASS-42 with a total of 159 Twitter users for each username taken 100 tweets. This study uses the Word2Vec extraction feature, to convert data from text to vector by looking at the relationship of each word and Random Forest as a classification method, to maintain the balance of data in different classes, especially very large data sets. Based on the test results, the Random Forest model produces an accuracy of 68.75%.

Abstract

Hydroponics is an alternative method of planting that replaces soil media with water. This planting model can optimize land use which is currently getting less and less because hydroponics does not require a large planting space. Hydroponics has one of the planting techniques, namely the floating raft hydroponic model. Floating raft hydroponic has a planting style with a flat plane so that water can pool under the plant. This model is not only cheap, but also easy to make for ordinary people. However, this model has a drawback, namely the owner must always pay extra attention to the plants because floating raft hydroponic uses stagnant water without circulating water or air, this can make the nutrient content in the water poison the plants themselves. In addition, water levels can cause fungus on the roots of these hydroponic plants. A system was created to monitor nutrient solution levels, water acidity levels, temperature values, humidity and light intensity. These parameters are monitored using several sensors, namely: Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) sensor, water pH sensor, water level sensor, light intensity sensor and temperature and humidity sensor controlled by a microcontroller with the ESP32 model. The results of the sensor recording are displayed on the blynk platform which can provide real time plant status. With this system the owner can monitor in real time and can increase awareness when caring for hydroponic plants with the floating raft hydroponic model.

Abstract

CV Jejak Publisher is a publishing company who has actively held writing competitions. However, there is a problem that occurs in the assessment process that has been running. The problem is several participants get the same value of the final score which makes it difficult for the jury to determine the order of winners. Therefore, to get a fairer and clearer result, need a calculation method that can support the jury's decision for determining the winners. This study aims to design a decision support system by applying the ROC and EDAS methods. ROC is used to assign a weighted value to each of the criteria set by CV Jejak Publisher, while EDAS is used to assess and rank the data of the participants. This system has output is the rank and final score of the participants from the highest to the lowest score. As a result, the ROC and EDAS methods were successfully applied to the system, as evidenced by 110 input data and all of them were successfully ranked by the system. The highest average score is 88.4 with the highest score based on 5 scoring criteria, namely 422. Thus, this system can be used to assist the jury in making a decision on the winner.

Abstract

One of the problems experienced by many countries, especially developing countries and a concern is poverty. This matter must be immediately addressed by the government so that it is necessary to find a way out so that people's lives will be better. One of the solutions that the government has taken is to provide assistance, for example the assistance of chickens. However, the provision of assistance is still uneven, one of which is due to errors during the data assessment process for prospective beneficiaries. Therefore it is necessary to make a Decision Support System (DSS). DSS built web-based using the incremental model for system development. the method implemented in the DSS to determine the recipient of chicken livestock assistance is the weighted product. From the results of the study, it was found that the prospective recipient of chicken livestock assistance who had the greatest preference weight was obtained by Pornomo Sidi, which was 0.1390. In addition, the system created is very attractive and can display a list of potential recipients of chicken livestock assistance effectively and efficiently.
