Abstract

The integration of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) plays a pivotal role in optimizing enterprise-level decision-making, improving company efficiency and productivity. In this research, a software connector was designed to link Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with Odoo’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, facilitating real-time data acquisition from industrial machines. The integration supports communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet IP, and Profinet, enabling seamless data flow between OT and IT systems. To demonstrate this integration, a bottle sorting plant controlled by a PLC was developed, with production data transmitted in real-time to Odoo ERP. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method was employed within a custom-built manufacturing module in Odoo to monitor key performance metrics, including Availability, Performance, and Quality. Results of the OEE analysis were cross-verified with manual calculations, showing a 0% discrepancy, thus ensuring accuracy. In addition, the OEE metrics were visualized in Grafana, where real-time monitoring revealed the sorting machine's OEE at 85.7%, placing it in the world-class category. Availability reached 96.67%, Performance was at 92.53%, and Quality measured at 95.7%. This system not only streamlined production processes but also provided actionable insights, enabling the company to make data-driven improvements. The findings of this research highlight the benefits of IT-OT integration, improving machine performance and serving as a vital tool for evaluating production efficiency at the enterprise level.

Abstract

Uang kertas adalah alat pembayaran umum di seluruh dunia saat ini karena digunakan dalam transaksi jual beli barang dan jasa. Nilai uang kertas Rupiah di Indonesia memiliki variasi yang mencakup ukuran, warna, dan pola yang berbeda. Identifikasi manual dapat menyebabkan kesalahan, sehingga diperlukan sistem pengenalan uang kertas yang efisien dan akurat. Permasalahan dalam mata uang terbaru menekankan pentingnya sistem pendeteksi yang selalu memperbarui data referensinya agar tetap akurat. Mata uang baru dengan desain atau fitur keamanan yang berbeda dapat menantang kemampuan sistem dalam mengenali keasliannya. Sistem harus mampu dengan cepat mengidentifikasi elemen baru dan memperbarui database referensi untuk menghindari risiko kesalahan atau penipuan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian perlu difokuskan pada pengembangan mekanisme pembaruan data secara real-time untuk menjaga responsivitas sistem terhadap perubahan mata uang. Maka dari itu, dilakukan klasifikasi nominal mata uang kertas Republik Indonesia Tahun Emisi 2022 menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network. Tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu proses akuisisi citra, preprocessing, pelatihan model, dan evaluasi. Dengan teknik pengenalan berdasarkan pola bunga yang terdapat pada uang kertas Republik Indonesia. Hasil yang peroleh yaitu akurasi sebesar 99% dengan 694 data berhasil diklasifikasi dari 700 data pengujian.

Abstract

Rice is one of the main crops in Indonesia that produces the largest staple food, namely rice commodities. Rice is a staple food consumed by almost 98% of Indonesian people. This study aims to compare the Linear Regression Algorithm and Decision Tree in an effort to find the most appropriate algorithm for predicting rice production data. Linear Regression is still a useful model, especially if the data has a non- linear relationship that cannot be captured by Linear Regression. So it can be concluded that the Linear Regression Algorithm with optimization of the tuning grid search cv hyperparameter is able to predict rice production better than the Decision Tree Algorithm with an R2-score value of 86.895666, MAE 261049.168107, and MSE 160199780301.226318.

Abstract

The rapid development of digitalization has accustomed many people to using technology in their daily activities. Technological advancements have had a significant impact on various sectors, including business and education. A portal website designed using the User-Centered Design method aims to meet users' needs through UI and UX. This research focuses on designing the user interface and experience (UI/UX) of the SMK Negeri 2 Lahat portal website and producing a prototype of the UI/UX design using User-Centered Design.This research report offers several benefits, including providing recommendations for improving portal website design, enhancing user experience and satisfaction through better interface design, and contributing knowledge about design methods in portal website development. The research focuses on creating a portal website design for SMK Negeri 2 Lahat that is accessible to all, utilizing literature and user interviews. The development process involves comprehensive user needs analysis, literature review, interviews, and concept design.The research results show that UI/UX design for the portal website using Figma tools with the User-Centered Design method can be implemented at SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. The results of the Single Ease Question indicate a good indicator from the Likert scale calculation of 1-7.

Abstract

Information technology has developed rapidly in facilitating people to exchange information and also do business through websites. Hotel Duta Garden is one of the commercial businesses that focuses on providing services for guests or tourists in the Yogyakarta area. Based on the results of the questionnaire that has been analyzed, users highly appreciate accurate information and attractive visual design in the online hotel booking experience. This supports the interface design that is designed to provide a more structured and informative experience for users.This study aims to enhance the UI/UX quality of the Duta Garden Hotel Yogyakarta website by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The redesign focuses on improving usability, better information visualization, and enhancing the User experience during the booking process through the website. The redesign process covers key aspects such as navigation, page layout, and user interaction, with an emphasis on optimizing the desktop version. Testing was conducted using the System usability scale (SUS) through two scenarios: room booking and error notification. The evaluation results indicate that the new design significantly improved user satisfaction, with an average SUS score of 90 for scenario booking and 81 for scenario error notification. Recommendations for further improvement were also provided based on findings during the testing process.

Abstract

Concentrates on utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach to improve the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of an information system designed for mangrove forest conservation. Mangrove ecosystems are essential for coastal defense, biodiversity, and carbon storage. Nonetheless, insufficient access to information frequently impeded community involvement in mangrove conservation. The research tackles this deficiency by creating a user-centric information system that amalgamates environmental data, cartographic representations, and educational materials concerning the mangroves of Desa Kota Pari. RAD was selected for its iterative and adaptable characteristics, facilitating ongoing stakeholder feedback and expedited development cycles relative to conventional models. The study delineates a multi-phase Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing requirements elicitation, prototyping, and user evaluation to develop a functioning and user-friendly system. By engaging end-users, including local authorities, conservationists, and community members during the development process, the system's UI/UX was tailored to address the distinct requirements of its audience, facilitating usability and the clear conveyance of intricate ecological data. Preliminary responses from usability assessments indicated a notable enhancement in user engagement and comprehension of mangrove conservation initiatives. The Mangrove Forest Information System demonstrates that the RAD technique is highly effective in developing interactive and user-centric environmental information systems, particularly in contexts requiring swift adaptation to user requirements. This approach improves community involvement and supports the sustainability of mangrove ecosystems.

Abstract

Process of traditional document approval carried out across all layers of society as part of a legal system in matters related to work or daily activities that involve legal obligations by all relevant parties is done by using handwritten signatures to bind the intentions and contents of the document with all related parties and provie legal value. With the development of internet access, traditional signatures have started to be abandoned, leading to a shift in document approval infrastructure towards a hybrid system where document signing can be done electronically. This shift has introduced the potential for electronic signature forgery, as there is no validation that can be performed on a digital image of an electronic signature.The ease of scanning someone's traditional signature can potentially be misused by unauthorized parties, so digital signatures have been developed to address this problem. Digital signatures are used to secure messages or documents from unauthorised parties, secure sensitive data, strengthen the signatories' confidence and detect attempted corruption. The solution offered in this project is the development of a software system capable of verifying the authenticity of digital documents so that the documents are not abused and can be used as appropriate using the SHA-256 Hash Function and the AES-256 Encryption Algorithm. The software produced has a satisfaction percentage of 93.71%, so it can be concluded that the applications that have been developed are running well.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to shift to e-commerce platforms to expand their market reach. Abdul Rahman's business, which deals with the sale of anchovies, faces challenges in marketing and effective payment systems. Therefore, the development of an e-commerce application is needed to increase sales efficiency and provide convenience in transactions. This research aims to design and develop an e-commerce application for Abdul Rahman's business using the Waterfall software development method. This method was chosen because of its systematic and structured process, making it suitable for the needs of a small-scale business. The development stages include requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Additionally, this application is integrated with Midtrans, a payment gateway that allows customers to make payments through various methods such as bank transfers, credit cards, and digital wallets, simplifying the online transaction process. The final result of this research is an e-commerce application that can be used to market anchovy products more broadly and provide convenience in purchasing and secure, fast payment processes. System testing shows that the application functions as expected and can enhance the user experience in online shopping.

Abstract

The problem of hot air temperature can disrupt indoor comfort and energy efficiency. The use of AC as a solution to cool the room is often not optimal, with problems such as AC remaining on when the room is empty and arbitrary temperature settings, which can accelerate device damage. To overcome this problem, this study proposes the development of an AC control and monitoring system that utilizes the Fuzzy Mamdani method based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The Fuzzy Mamdani method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty and variability in temperature settings, while IoT allows the system to monitor and control the AC in real-time via the internet. The proposed system is designed to monitor the condition of the AC, automatically adjust the temperature based on actual needs, and provide information for corrective action if necessary. With this system, it is expected that the use of AC can be optimized, energy efficiency increased, and the service life of the AC can be extended. This study shows the importance of implementing a Fuzzy Mamdani and IoT-based control system to overcome the suboptimal use of AC, improve comfort, and reduce energy consumption. The results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to more efficient AC management in educational environments and can be a model for similar applications in other fields. From the results, the room temperature tested was 25°C with humidity reaching 80%. Based on data processing using the Fuzzy Mamdani method, the results of the decision for the recommended AC temperature were 23.3°C. These results are in accordance with the results of manual testing.

Abstract

The research is based on the importance of a monitoring system for students who study outside the classroom which is very necessary on an ongoing basis, considering that the PT and DPL coordinators must continue to monitor directly or indirectly students who participate in MBKM activities. The problem so far has been the difference between the MBKM plan and the MBKM results, where from the monitoring results, there are several weaknesses in the information and data in the MBKM program, for example, difficulty in knowing the location. This study aims to design a location-based student activity monitoring system to make it easier for PT and DPL coordinators to find out student activities and make assessments based on the history of activities outside the classroom with the MBKM program followed by students. The activity history reported each day will be processed using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method to find similarities in activities based on the completion time and types of activities carried out by students. The results of the activity history processed with TF-IDF are in the form of reports which will later become supporting information for objective assessment of student learning outcomes. The system design method used in this study is the Web Development Life Cycle (WDLC). The design stages in WDLC start from Planning, Analysis, Design and Development, Testing and Implementation and Maintenance. On the backend side for data management and reporting, a web-based system will be built with the PHP programming language using the YII2 PHP Framework. On the frontend side used by students is a mobile-based application (android) which will be built using the Ionic Framework. Data storage media uses MariaDB. The results of this study are a system that allows for monitoring students who study outside the classroom, especially students who participate in MBKM activities based on the history of activities reported at any time. Given the rapid development of technology and information today, the author suggests that it is necessary to develop the system, especially in terms of user interface, system availability in the form of applications (Android and iOS), and also increasing security, especially in terms of reading the location of student activities. The results of the test with the query Introduction to the environment, a visit to the village head's office to discuss future work programs obtained the results of the similarity level in Salsabilah Yahnun Fadila (21040203) which is 1%, Juliana Br Harianja (21040210) which is 0.7164%, Agung Dermansyah Nainggolan (21040257) which is 0.5978%, Lisman Buulolo (22090041) which is 0.4004% and Irwan Jaya Bawamenewi (21100251) which is 0.3645%. The time needed for this classification is 2.2471 minutes. For testing with the query Participating in community service activities/mutual cooperation, the results of the similarity level in Kristina Tutiniwati Ndruru (21100187) were 0.6111%, Alviusman Harita (21040253) was 0.5593%, Friska Sariaman Manalu (22070012) was 0.4735%. The time required for this classification was 1.2344 minutes.
