Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik semakin meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk dan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kebutuhan akan penggunaan energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan, aman dari polusi dan persediaannya tidak terbatas seperti pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) perlu ditingkatkan. Kementrian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi energi surya yang sangat besar yakni sekitar 4.8 KWh/m2 yang kemanfaatannya belum optimal. Sebagai upaya untuk turut serta mendukung penggunaan sumber energi terbarukan, maka rancang bangun pembangkit listrik tenaga surya perlu dilakukan khususnya untuk penggunaan listrik rumah tangga. Rancang bangun PLTS ini terdiri dari panel surya yang terhubung pada solar charge controller (SCC), inverter dan baterai. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan beban berupa lampu dan kipas angin. Hasil pengukuran data dari nilai rata"“rata tegangan terbuka (Voc) adalah sebesar 20,40 V dengan arus hubung singkat (Isc) sebesar 6,54 A dan intensitas sinar matahari sebesar 323.09 W/m2. Hasil yang diperoleh dari rancang bangun PLTS ini mampu menahan beban 570 Wh selama 11 jam.

Abstract

Analog sensors are devices used in the process industry. These sensors can be used to measure the pressure, flow, temperature, and level of a fluid in a tank. A sensor is an important part of a feedback control system that is commonly used in the process industry. In this research, an analog sensor was used to measure water pressure on a couple tank kit, which was SKU SEN0257. This pressure was converted to the depth of the water in the tank. A problem occurred when the dimension of the tank was small, then the depth change of water could not be read by a controller that connected to the sensor. Therefore, a prototype of instrumentation amplifier using IC OP027 was designed. This amplifier was used to increase the output voltage from the sensor so that it could be read by controller. The circuit that has been designed, managed to produce voltage around the desirable value 0-5V. Problem that arise from this research is the fluctuation in the amplified voltage value that need further improvement on the circuit design.

Abstract

Pada pengujian seakeeping miniatur kapal cepat gerak zig-zag mengalami overshoot sebesar 13,5° melewati jalur yang telah ditentukan 20°, sehingga tidak terwujud konsistensi kestabilan kapal dan kemiringan arah sudut yang berakibat pada hasil pengambilan data. Pada penelitian ini berfokus pada pembuatan sistem kontrol otomatis untuk mengendalikan gerak rudder. Metode yang digunakan yaitu PID dengan tuning Ziegler-Nichols. Sistem ini menggunakan teenseyduino sebagai mikrokontroler untuk mengontrol dua servo motor sebagai rudder kapal, HWT 905 sebagai sensor dan motor DC sebagai laju kecepatan pada miniatur kapal cepat. Sensor HWT905 akan mendeteksi kemiringan arah pada badan kapal akibat gelombang. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapatkan parameter gain yang mampu memberikan hasil terbaik yaitu pada saat nilai Kp = 1,1, Ki = 3,3, Kd = 0,09, didapatkan nilai error steady state sebesar 15% dan overshoot sebesar 3°. Nilai rise time yang diperoleh sebesar 3 detik dan settling time diperoleh sebesar 5 detik yang menunjukkan bahwa gerak dari motor servo mulai stabil pada waktu tersebut.

Abstract

Security is a condition that is free from denger, every individual has the right to feel safe in daily life or activities. As time goes by, the security level can be disrupted or dangerous things can happen beyond prediction, in other words, it can happen suddenly, therefore of course there must be a system development as a medium for anticipating this. With the aim of develop the system, it is necessary to design a system that can reduce crimes that are beyond human expectations. This system is called the Smart Security System which is a development of CCTV in general, this system uses cameras and smartphones as information media that will provide notifications to each individual to get notifications regarding real-time conditions in areas under camera surveillance via telegram. This system is assisted by Machine Learning in the form of OpenCV which is programmed on a Raspberry pi4 device which is connected directly to the camera to detect people ormovement in areas under CCTV monitoring so that it can immediately provide information to users which is sent via telegram in the form of video. It is hoped that with this system the level of security can be more effective so as to reduce the risk of theft in a room. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, it is found that to determine the effectiveness of the work of this study, an optimal distance is needed with a minimum distance range of 2 meters - 10 meters from the front of the camera and bright lighting

Abstract

Plastic injection machine is a plastic product making machine with an injection molding process. Plastic injection machines at PT Shimano Batam currently cannot be monitored automatically. Therefore, a system is needed that monitors and stores all data about the performance of the plastic injection machine automatically. In this system Arduino Uno is used as a microcontroller of the plastic injection machine signal and the Xbee Pro S2C module is used as a sender and receiver of data packets from the plastic injection machine, the data is processed and then displayed on a PC and stored on the server. The test results of this system show that the machine status data matches the data displayed on the PC. From the results of testing the engine cycle time as much as 11 times, there is the largest difference in processing time, which is 1.20 seconds. From the results of reliability testing, packet loss was obtained by 0.006%. Xbee Pro S2C communication testing with a distance of 1 meter to 60 meters was successful without any data packets lost, when testing Xbee Pro S2C communication with a distance of 85 meters to 110 meters there were 30 data packets lost.

Abstract

Process control is one of the automation techniques that has been commonly used to control pressure, temperature, flow and fluid level in industrial factories, which aims to maximize production, maintain product quality levels, safety in production, and create a more economical production process. Based on these needs and situation Politeknik Negeri Batam begin to developing laboratorial module for the students. One of these modules is STEM Pressure Measurement and Control Plant with developed by adding a data acquisition system based on PLC CP1H and CX Supervisor application as data presentation element. The results of this study indicate that the application of the CX Supervisor and PLC CP1H has supported the development of learning, especially in the practice of process measurement and control. From the test results it can be seen that the three pressure transmitters used have linear characteristics according to the specifications of the device. From the test results of the proposed data acquisition system, the measurement results show a value that is close to the actual value with a deviation value of -0.1"“0.17 and standard deviations of 0.088, 0.075, and 0.107 and standard errors of 0.024, 0.021, and 0.030, respectively for pressure transmitter with capacitance, piezoresistive, and extensimeter types

Abstract

The increasing demand for parking spaces in various facilities, such as shopping centers, ports, and airports, poses a significant challenge for parking managers. Drivers waste time and fuel searching for available parking slots, resulting in increased air pollution and negative environmental and health impacts. Therefore, a new solution is needed to address these issues and improve parking management efficiency. A parking management system that utilizes RFID technology and allows for the RFID Tag on each car to display user data, user ID, and parking space reservations is needed to improve the efficiency and convenience of parking at various facilities. The proposed system design incorporates various components, including a Camera Sensor, Raspberry PI, ESP8266, UHF RFID reader, and RFID Tag. The RFID technology captures radio waves emitted by the RFID Tag, enabling individual identification through unique codes. Testing revealed high accuracy at close range but decreased effectiveness at longer distances. Internet speed and network latency affected system performance, with faster speeds enabling faster data transmission. The system, developed using Thunkable and Firebase, provides real-time parking space availability information and streamlines vehicle entry and exit processes through RFID technology. This system has the potential to greatly improve the parking experience at busy public facilities by facilitating efficient parking spot finding and enhancing overall convenience for drivers.

Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country that has a large territorial water, one of the efforts to protect the ship's hull from corrosion is by using coating technology. In this research, the process of characterizing the results of image processing on the hull was carried out to determine the corrosion level of the hull. 4 stages of the process, including: Taking samples and images of the layers of the ship parts that need maintenance and coating. In making a prototype, the coating results are assembled using the mini PCNVIDIA Jatson Nano using a webcam, then the images obtained will be processed using Edge detection uses a cany to obtain the contours of the bilge cross section of the ship. Next, using the Neural Network as an artificial material to create images captured from the captured prototype results on the results of coating or coating on the observed parts of the ship. The results of various image captures are processed and observed for shapes, patterns, contours, corrosion and coatings that are formed. The image processing method can be used as an inspection method for coating results with readings on data and software with 2 readings on data, namely reject or accept. Gradient values "‹"‹are related to changes in MSE, so gradient values "‹"‹cannot be used as a reference to justify model performance. With the addition of iterations, the value of the neural network and neural targets produced is linear.

Abstract

The large number of people who use private vehicles has an impact on increasing people's need for parking areas, including in residential apartments. Limitations to getting information on the availability of parking slots result in difficulties for drivers finding available parking locations. This study aims to develop an effective parking slot mapping system for apartment managers and users using the configuration of image processing and MySQL servers. System design works to process vehicle plates recognized on camera using segmentation and analysis image processing. Data processing uses a visual studio tool as an interface that is connected to MySQL as a database server and activates the visualization of slots and parking locations through the Blynk apps. The results show that the system can read detected vehicle plates and send notifications to Blynk apps to inform the slot status and available parking locations. System testing was carried out for any variations of distance and camera angle positions to determine the standard parameters for a good operating system

Abstract

A visitor monitoring and counting device is a tool designed to send information in the form of images and the number of visitors detected through a camera and sensors installed on the device. This device is based on the Telegram application using the ESP32-CAM module as the camera to capture images of each incoming visitor. The device is equipped with an infrared sensor used to detect incoming visitors. The device works by counting the number of visitors when they enter, and then sending a signal to the ESP32-CAM to capture a physical image as evidence. The data from the device's operation is sent through the Telegram application. The research results show that the device functions well at a distance of 60 cm, but it does not function properly at a distance of 90 cm. The average time required for the device to send an image to the application is 2.5 seconds. The fastest time required by the system to read data between one visitor and the next is 15,4 seconds.
