Abstract

Air Conditioner (AC) is one of the most common used facilities for air conditioning. Air conditioners that are rarely cleanedand poorly maintained are a convenient place for the breeding of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi), which hasimplications for the decline in human health and activity. The existence of microorganisms can be influenced by variousfactors, namely temperature, humidity, lighting, occupancy density, ventilation system, the nature and activities of individualsin the room. The purpose of this research was to identify the bacteria and fungal on Air Conditioners in the Faculty ofMedicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatera class. This research was a descriptive observational study using 14samples of dust smears taken from the AC filter. Data analyzed used distribution table. Most of the grown bacteria was GramPositive Bacillus Subtilis are 10 samples (66.7%) and half of the identified mold growth was Penicillium sp. are 7 samples(50%). The highest number of colony found was 32 x 109 x 102 CFU/m3 and the lowest was 0,02 x 102 CFU/m3. There aremicroorganism growth found in the room AC with the most common bacteria found was Bacillus subtilis and the mostcommon fungal growth was Penicillium sp. Despite the growth, more than half the lecture room AC colony number still in therange for air quality qualification are 8 samples (57,1%).

Abstract

In this study, honorary employees received salaries, but there were honorary employees who received wages, such asambulance coordinators and ambulance drivers. They get a reward when there are patients who need an ambulance, andthe coordinator also gets a reward for being tasked with coordinating the use of the ambulance car. All matters relating tosalary and wages shall be supported by forms, records or other supporting evidence in accordance with generally applicableregulations, or regulations made and applicable within the company. Researchers have also conducted preliminary researchand obtained general data on how the process of Payroll and Wage Accounting Information System in Tarutung RegionalGeneral Hospital. The procedure begins with the making of the payroll and wages by the administration, then the payroll andwages are sent to the finance department and then the finance department sends the payroll to the bank and the financedepartment sends the salary to the honorary employees, while for the wages will be directly given to the recipient through anintermediary. Then the finance department will issue cash outgoing evidence that will be used as a basic proof of salary andwage payments to hospital employees. Payroll and Wage Accounting Information System in Tarutung Regional GeneralHospital has not run effectively and efficiently, which has not been effective, because sometimes there are still employeeswho do activities about payroll and wages manually, such as in the process of wages, although there are procedures butsometimes the provision of wages is done manually, because when making wage payments manually, employees consider iteasier and easier to realize than following existing procedures , because wages are rare in this hospital.

Abstract

Research studies on microalgae such as Chlorella vulgaris have been widely carried out because they can be used invarious field. Chlorella vulgaris is a promising source of raw materials for oil, food, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmeticproducts and high-value products. However, their use is hindered by the large volume harvesting process. Flocculation isseen as a cheap and promising harvesting method as a technique for harvesting microalgae to obtain large amounts ofbiomass. Metal salts such as alum and ferric chloride are commonly used as flocculants in the microalgae harvestingprocess. However, its use creates metal residues on the harvested biomass, so that other solutions are sought to obtainflocculants. Natural flocculants derived from natural ingredients need to be studied and developed their potential forharvesting microalgae. Apart from being environmentally friendly compared to chemical flocculants, another advantage isthat it is abundant in nature and renewable. Among natural flocculants, corn kernels, chitosan, Moringa oleifera seeds andcellulose have been developed through several studies related to their use as flocculants. The results obtained were thatnatural flocculants were able to reduce turbidity, anionic surfactants and other colloidal particles in water treatment usingflocculation techniques. However, it needs to be further reviewed regarding its use in the flocculation process of Chlorellavulgaris by considering several parameters.
