Abstract

Trichophyton mentagrophytes is a type of fungal species that most often causes dermatophyte infections that can cause skin infections. The fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes often causes skin infections such as tinea. Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanni) can be grown in several areas in Indonesia. Cinnamon bark contains chemical compounds, namely flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins. To determine the inhibitory power of cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomum burmannii) in inhibiting the growth of the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes. This study was experimental, post test only, consisting of 4 groups: two intervention groups (10% and 20% cinnamon bark extract), positive control (Flucanozole), negative control (aquadest). Five samples have been identified as Tricophyton mentagrophytes. In this test, potato dextrose agar was used and the growth inhibitory effect was determined by measuring the apparent clear zone. The results showed that cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomum burmannii) with concentrations of 10% and 20% could inhibit the growth of the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomun burmannii) with a concentration of 10% and 20% has the ability as an antifungal against the growth of the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomun burmannii) with a concentration of 20% was more effective in inhibiting the growth of the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes (the highest clear zone) than cinnamon bark extract with a concentration of 10%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the factors that influence the work discipline of the state civil apparatus at the Secretariat Office of the Regional Representatives Council of South Nias Regency. The research method uses multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of multiple linear regression research that attitudes, leadership roles, and emotional intelligence on work discipline in the State Civil Apparatus of the DPRD Secretariat of South Nias Regency, test the hypothesis for the F test that the role of leadership and emotional intelligence has a significant effect on work discipline in the State Civil Apparatus of the Secretariat of the Regency DPRD South Nias, for the t test, attitude was found to have a significant effect on work discipline, the role of leadership had a significant effect on work discipline, and emotional intelligence had a significant effect on work discipline. Suggestions that employees should conduct personal development training, and leaders should pay more attention to cooperative relationships with other organizations

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic which resulted in disruption of the community's economy which affected the increase in the Regional Original Income of Kabupaten Nias Selatan, of course the Regional Government of Kabupaten Nias Selatan has a strategy in increasing PAD. This study aims to determine the strategy Regional Government Kabupaten Nias Selatan in increasing Regional Original Income during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques by means of in-depth interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is inductive analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification (make conclusions). The results of the study found that the Covid-19 pandemic had a negative impact on the realization of Regional Original Income, and the Regional Income and Asset Financial Management Agency, especially the Regional Revenue Planning and Evaluation Sector, did not have a new strategy to increase local revenue. In fact, the Regional Government of South Nias Regency lowered its target of Original Regional Revenue in 2020 due to the unstable economy of the community.

Abstract

STH infection is an environmental-based disease that is still a health problem for Indonesian people who are transmitted through land. This infection generally attacks elementary school age children. This study aims to determine the relationship of STH infection with the level of hygiene in 105296 elementary school students Percut Sei Tuan. This research is analytic descriptive with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is done by a total sampling method with a total sample of 190 students. Data processed with chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between STH infection and the level of hygiene in 105296 elementary school students Percut Sei Tuan. With a lack of hygiene level in the Public Elementary School 105296 Percut Sei Tuan as many as 50 people. There is a relationship between STH infection and the level of hygiene in 105296 elementary school students Percut Sei Tuan.

Abstract

The scope of this study aims to analyze the Leadership Style and Performance of the Principal in Improving Teacher Performance in Hang Tuah Private High School, Teluk Dalam District, South Nias. This type of research is a qualitative research and the location studied is in Private Hang Tuah, Teluk Dalam District, South Nias. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection procedures used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style of the Headmaster of SMA Taruna Hang Tuah Telukdalam has a democratic leadership style and good performance in improving teacher performance. This leadership style can be seen from the leadership characteristics of the Headmaster of SMA Taruna Hang Tuah Telukdalam including: shared workload, willingness to accept opinions, criticism and suggestions, involving subordinates in decision making, trusting subordinates by continuing to supervise, two-way communication and prioritizing common interests. In addition, the principal's performance. The principal's performance is the ability to carry out the work or tasks that are owned in completing a job at the school he leads.
