Abstract

This study discusses variations in the use of carbon cleaner additives for Power, Torque and Top Speed ​​produced by Beat motorbikes in 2016 using a mixture of 75ml and 150ml additives. The purpose of this study is to analyze how much power, torque and top speed the vehicle will get if the fuel is mixed using carbon cleaner. This type of research is experimental research. The object of this research is a Honda Beat motorcycle in 2015. At the initial starting without giving a mixture of additives Power, Torque and Top Speed ​​produced respectively 6.23 kw, 6.38 Nm and 52.53 Km / hour, the treatment using carbon cleaner additives as much as 75 ml Power, Torque and The resulting top speed of each mixture is 6.74 kw, 6.84 Nm, and Top Speed ​​53.82 km / hour. Whereas in the use of carbon cleaner additives as much as 150ml, the increase in Power, Torque and Top Speed ​​respectively was 6.47 kw, 6.41 N.m and Top Speed ​​52.93 km / hour. After going through a comparative test using the t test with a significant level of 5%, it can be said that the increase in Power, Torque and Top Speed ​​without treatment with the treatment of 75ml and 150ml is not significant. Penelitian ini membahas tentang variasi penggunaan zat aditif carbon cleaner terhadap Daya, Torsi dan Top Speed yang dihasilkan oleh sepeda motor Beat tahun 2016 dengan menggunakan campuran zat aditif sebanyak 75ml dan 150ml. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Menganalisa berapa pengaruh Daya, Torsi dan Top Speed yang peroleh kendaraan yang apabila bahan bakar dicampurkan menggunakan carbon cleaner. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Objek penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor honda Beat tahun 2015. Pada starting awal tanpa memberikan campuran zat aditif Daya, Torsi dan Top Speed yang dihasilkan masing-masing sebesar 6,23 kw, 6,38 N.m dan 52,53 Km/jam, pada perlakuan penggunaan zat aditif carbon cleaner sebanyak 75ml Daya, Torsi dan Top Speed yang dihasilkan masing-masing campuran sebesar 6,74 kw, 6,84 N.m, dan Top Speed 53,82 Km/Jam. Sedangkan pada penggunaan zat aditif carbon cleaner sebanyak 150ml peningkatan Daya, Torsi dan Top Speed masing-masing sebesar 6,47 kw, 6,41 N.m dan Top Speed 52,93 km/jam.

Abstract

This study explores the management system of technology center and database laboratory which is far from being optimal to facilitate ICT course. This study aims at developing an application used to facilitate ICT learning in order to optimize the computer laboratory use and make it more systematic. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through observation. The result of the study shows that the application which was developed could simplify the work of the users and administrators in the computer laboratory management system. Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya pemanfaatan laboratorium komputer pustekipad (Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data) untuk pembelajaran mata kuliah TIK. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka penulis melakukan penelitian untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi peminjaman laboratorium komputer tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode observasi juga digunakan dalam pembuatan tulisan ini. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi yang digunakan untuk memudahkan penggunaan laboratorium komputer pustekipad untuk pembelajaran TIK. Dosen dan sivitas akademika yang menjadi pengguna di dalam laboratorium ini dengan mudah melakukan peminjaman laboratorium dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi yang telah dibuat. Hal itu mempermudah pengguna dan administrator dalam pengelolaan laboratorium.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of temperature changes on the corrosion rate of motorbike exhaust. In this experimental study, the test specimens were given heat treatment by burning directly using solder gas, then immersed directly into a container containing plain water and salt water. After being given the treatment, an evaluation was held to see how much influence it had. On the 12th day of testing, all specimens experienced a decrease in weight, with details in specimen A experiencing a weight loss of 0.5 grams from the initial weight of 32 grams, with a corrosion rate of 0.064942241mm / year. Specimen B experienced a weight loss of 0.31 grams from the initial weight of 32 grams and the corrosion rate in specimen B was 0.402641894 mm / year. In specimen C, it experienced a weight reduction of 0.46 grams from the initial weight of 32 grams with a corrosion rate of 0.59746862mm / year. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh perubahan temperatur terhadap laju korosi pada knalpot sepda motor. Pada penelitian eksperimen ini spesimen uji diberi perlakuan panas dengan dibakar langsung menggunakan solder gas, kemudian dicelupkan langsung kedalam wadah yang berisi air biasa dan air garam. Setelah diberi perlakuan (treatment), diadakan evaluasi untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Pada hari ke 12 pengujian seluruh spesimen mengalami penurunan berat, dengan rincian pada specimen A mengalami penurunan berat sebesar 0,5gram dari berat awal 32gram, dengan laju korosi 0,064942241mm/tahun. Spesimen B mengalami penurunan berat sebesar 0,31gram dari berat awal 32 gram dan laju korosi pada spesimen B 0,402641894 mm/tahun. Pada sepesimen C mengalami pengurangan berat sebesar 0,46 gram dari berat awal 32 gram dengan laju korosi 0,59746862mm/tahun.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of installing a Turbo Cyclone on a 4 stroke gasoline engine on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. This research is a quantitative study using experimental research methods. The 4 stroke petrol engine used is the Yamaha Jupiter MX 135 cc. The data were processed in several stages of analysis using the mean formula, fuel consumption, the percentage formula, and comparing the results of data analysis from each treatment. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the installation of the Turbo Cyclone had an effect on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions from the 4 stroke engine. The best effect is obtained from the installation of the Turbo Cyclone after the carburetor, fuel consumption shows a decrease of up to 8%, exhaust emissions show a decrease in HC levels by 9% and an increase in CO2 levels by 1%. Penelitian ini mambahas pengaruh pemasangan Turbo Cyclone pada mesin bensin 4 Tak terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi gas buang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Mesin bensin 4 Tak yang digunakan adalah Yamaha Jupiter MX 135 cc. Data diolah dengan beberapa tahapan analisis menggunakan rumus mean, konsumsi bahan bakar, rumus persentase, dan membandingkan hasil analisis data dari masing-masing perlakuan. Dari hasil analisis data didapatkan adanya pengaruh dari pemasangan Turbo Cyclone terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi gas buang dari mesin 4 Tak tersebut. Pengaruh yang paling baik didapat dari pemasangan Turbo Cyclone setelah karburator, konsumsi bahan bakar menunjukkan penurunan mencapai 8%, emisi gas buang menunjukkan penurunaan kadar HC sebesar 9% dan peningkatan kadar CO2 sebesar 1%.

Abstract

Solar panels are the main equipment for a solar power generation system that functions to convert sunlight energy directly into electrical energy. The solar panel performance monitoring system is designed to be equipped with current and voltage measuring sensors that have been integrated into an Excel Spreadsheet using the PLX-DAQ application program. Arduino Nano based system design and connected to a computer via USB. The advantage of this monitoring system is that measurement results from sensors can be processed directly and displayed in the form of data and graphics in real time conditions. This makes it easy for data processing. Panel surya adalah peralatan utama sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya yang berfungsi untuk mengkonversikan energi cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik secara langsung. Untuk memenuhi keperluan pemantauan output panel surya, sistem pemantauan (monitoring) kinerja panel surya dirancang dilengkapi dengan sensor pengukur arus dan tegangan yang diintegrasikan ke Spreadsheet Excel menggunakan program aplikasi PLX-DAQ. Perancangan sistem berbasis Arduino nano dan dihubungkan ke komputer melalui USB. Kelebihan dari sistem pemantauan ini adalah hasil pengukuran dari sensor dapat diproses secara langsung dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk data dan grafik pada kondisi real time. Hal ini memberikan kemudahan untuk pengolahan data.

Abstract

The decrease in the performance of the vehicle is influenced by several factors such as low air pressure entering the throttle body . The purpose of this research is to improve vehicle performance again. This study used an experimental method conducted at the UNP Automotive Engineering Vehicle Testing Workshop using a Toyota Avanza 1300 CC vehicle, power and torque research was carried out by adding a turbo cyclone. Research data collection was carried out three times in each test. The results of research that has been carried out on the Toyota Avanza 1300 CC vehicle. 1) Installation of a turbo cyclone at a slope of 55o is the biggest increase in power, which is 3.3 Kw / 4.422 Hp. 2) Installation of a turbo cyclone at a slope of 65o, the largest increase in torque, which is 7.3 Nm. From the use of a turbo cylone so as to make air pressure increase, it affects torque and power. Penurunan kinerja dari kendaraan dipengaruhi beberapa faktor seperti rendahnya tekanan udara yang masuk kedalam throttle body . Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kembali performa kendaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang dilakukan di Workshop Pengujian Kendaraan Teknik Otomotif UNP dengan menggunakan kendaraan Toyota Avanza 1300 CC, penelitian daya dan torsi dilakukan dengan menambahkan turbo cyclone. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan tiga kali pada tiap pengujian. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada kendaraan Toyota Avanza 1300 CC. 1) Pemasangan turbo cyclone pada kemiringan 55o, menjadi peningkatan daya paling besar yaitu sebesar 3,3 Kw / 4,422 Hp. 2) Pemasangan turbo cyclone pada kemiringan 65o, menjadi peningkatan torsi paling besar yaitu sebesar 7,3 Nm. Dari penggunaan turbo cylone sehingga membuat tekanan udara meningkat mempengaruhi torsi dan daya.

Abstract

Pressure vessel is a closed tube that holds pressure, both internal pressure and external pressure. This pressure vessel is designed to function as a reservoir for condensate or condensed water and convert it into steam or hot steam. This article discusses the design of a pressure vessel for a pressure of about 10 kg/cm² and a design temperature of 179oC. In the design of this pressure vessel, it includes determining the material to be used in the design, determining the allowable stress of each material used, determining the cylinder wall thickness, cylinder head or cover wall thickness, nozzle wall thickness, determining the maximum allowable working pressure limit. or maximum allowable working pressure and testing after the pressure vessel is finished, namely the hydrostatic test method. The design has been successfully carried out according to the provisions. Bejana tekan atau pressure vessel adalah suatu tabung tertutup penampung tekanan, baik tekanan dari dalam maupun tekanan dari luar bejana. Bejana tekan yang ini dirancang berfungsi sebagai penampung condensate atau air kondensasi dan mengubahnya menjadi steam atau uap panas. Pada artikel ini dibahas perancangan pressure vessel untuk tekanan sekitar 10 kg/cm² dan suhu rancang 179oC. Dalam perancangan bejana tekan ini meliputi pemilihan material yang akan digunakan dalam perancangan, menentukan tegangan yang diijinkan atau allowable stress dari setiap material yang digunakan, menentuan tebal dinding silinder, tebal dinding head atau penutup silinder, tebal dinding nozzle, menentuan batas tekanan kerja maksimum yang diijinkan atau maximum allowable working pressure dan pengujian setelah bejana tekan jadi yaitu dengan metode hydrostatic test. Dalam artikel ini perancangan secara numeris telah berhasil dilakukan dengan baik sesuai ketentuan.

Abstract

There are several methods to turn on a PC from other places, one of which is WOL (wake-on lan). This method requires modem configuration to enable WOL and port forwarding features. However, if it is not possible, there is one method offered by the researcher. The method is creating a system that functions to turn on the PC via the MQTT protocol. This system consists of electronic devices and android applications. Both can be connected to the internet network. The function of this device is to connect the PWRBTN and GND pins for 0.3 seconds. While the android application "Remote wake-on PC Masjid Mujahidin" is a user interface to receive and send data to the device. From the experiment, it was found that this device was controlled from the internet with an android application successfully. In addition, there is information about the status of the PC, the system voltage on the device, and the temperature and voltage of the PC room on the android application. All this information is successfully transmitted from the PC-enabled device to the android application. Terdapat beberapa metode untuk menghidupkan PC dari keadaan mati/off, salah satunya adalah WOL (wake-on lan). Metode ini membutuhkan konfigurasi modem untuk mengaktifkan fitur WOL dan port forwarding. Namun, apabila tidak bisa, terdapat satu metode yang ditawarkan oleh peneliti. Metode tersebut adalah sebuah sistem yang berfungsi untuk menghidupkan PC melalui protokol MQTT. Sistem ini terdiri dari sebuah perangkat elektronik dan aplikasi android yang dapat terhubung pada jaringan internet. Perangkat ini bertugas untuk meng-on-kan PC dengan cara menghubungkan pin PWRBTN dan GND selama 0,3 detik. Sedangkan aplikasi android “Remote wake-on PC Masjid Mujahidin” sebagai user interface untuk menerima dan mengirimkan data ke perangkat. Dari pengujian, didapatkan bahwa perangkat ini berhasil dikendalikan dari internet dengan aplikasi android. Selain itu juga, terdapat informasi mengenai status PC, tegangan sistem pada alat serta suhu dan tegangan ruang PC pada aplikasi android. Semua informasi ini berhasil dikirimkan dari peralatan wake-on PC ke aplikasi android.

Abstract

This research discusses about web based speed control of DC motor. This research is a development research. The development that is design and assemble a speed control of DC motor so that becomes function work well. The result of research is speed control of DC motor and monitoring value of voltage, current and rotation speed from DC motor. Speed control of DC motor using PWM on the NodeMCU while monitoring of voltage, current and rotation speed from DC motor using voltage sensor, current sensor, and inductive proximity sensor. The results show that the system is great working. On the readings of the voltage value using voltage sensor and multimeter digital, there is a difference value between 0,01 to 0,13 Volt. While for the readings of the current value using current sensor ACS712 and multimeter digital, there is a difference average 0,01 Ampere. Proximity sensors are used by monitoring of the rotation speed of DC motor. The result is this sensor is working and function well. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengendalian kecepatan motor DC menggunakan web. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan yang dilakukan ialah merancang dan merakit sebuah web dan alat pengendali kecepatan motor DC sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan dan dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mengatur kecepatan motor DC serta monitoring nilai tegangan, nilai arus dan nilai kecepatan putaran pada motor DC. Pengendalian kecepatan motor DC dilakukan dengan mengatur PWM pada NodeMCU sedangkan monitoring tegangan, arus dan kecepatan putaran motor DC menggunakan sensor tegangan, sensor arus ACS712 dan sensor proximity induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem bekerja dengan baik. Pada pembacaan tegangan menggunakan sensor tegangan dan multimeter digital terdapat selisih antara 0,01 sampai 0,13 Volt. Sedangkan untuk pembacaan nilai arus menggunakan sensor arus ACS712 dengan multimeter digital, terdapat selesih rata-rata 0,01 Ampere. Sensor proximity digunakan sebagai monitoring kecepatan putaran pada motor DC. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sensor ini bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsinya.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of using a racing exhaust with asbestos and stainless steel-based filters. The purpose of this study is to find out how big the role of racing exhaust filters in reducing noise and exhaust emissions. This study uses an experimental method with the static comparison design. The object of this research is Honda Beat injection motorcycle 2017. The data from this study were taken from testing standard exhaust, stainless steel, and asbestos. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the use of stainless steel-based filters is effective in reducing HC emissions compared to standard exhausts and racing exhausts with asbestos filters, stainless steel filters are also effective in reducing noise by 4.4% compared to exhausts with asbestos filters. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh dari pemakaian knalpot racing dengan saringan berbahan dasar asbes dan stainless steel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui seberapa besar peranan saringan knalpot racing dalam mereduksi kebisingan dan emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain the static comparison design. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor Honda Beat injeksi tahun 2017. Data dari penelitian ini diambil dari pengujian knalpot standar, stainless steel, dan asbes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan saringan berbahan dasar stainless steel efektif mereduksi emisi HC dibanding knalpot standar dan knalpot racing dengan saringan asbes, saringan stainless steel juga efektif mereduksi kebisingan sebesar 4,4% dibandingkan kanlpot dengan saringan asbes.
