Abstract

Utilization of solar power can use a thermoelectric generator. Thermoelectric Generators work by taking advantage of temperature differences and the application of the Seebeck effect. This experimental study uses two prototypes of a perfect house with a roof made of zinc plate. One of the roofs of the house is covered with glass. Thermoelectrics are installed at the bottom of the roof of each house as many as 12 pieces and arranged in a series circuit. Data collection was carried out one day from 08.00 -15.59. The largest electrical voltage obtained occurred at 11.00 – 13.59 reaching 0.215 – 0.183 Volts in houses with glass-covered roofs and 0.654 – 0.527 Volts. The use of a layer of glass makes the roof temperature stable because the heat absorbed can be retained by the glass. As a result, the voltage generated in a house with a glazed roof is more stable than a house with a non-glazed roof. This research also proves that the difference in temperature affects the voltage generated by the thermoelectric. Pemanfaatan tenaga surya dapat menggunakan termoelektrik generator. Termoelektrik Generator bekerja dengan memanfaatkan perbedaan temperatur dan penerapan efek Seebeck. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan dua prototipe rumah sempurna dengan atap dari seng plat. Salah satu atap rumah dilapisi dengan kaca. Termoelektrik dipasang pada bagian bawah atap masing-masing rumah sebanyak 12 buah dan disusun dengan rangkaian seri. Pengambilan data dilakukan satu hari dari pukul 08.00 -15.59. Tegangan listrik terbesar yang didapatkan terjadi pada pukul 11.00 – 13.59 mencapai 0,215 – 0,183 Volt pada rumah dengan atap dilapisi kaca dan 0,654 – 0,527 Volt. Penggunaan lapisan kaca membuat temperatur atap menjadi stabil karena panas yang diserap dapat ditahan oleh kaca. Akibatnya membuat tegangan yang dihasilkan pada rumah dengan atap dilapisi kaca lebih stabil. Dari penelitian ini juga membuktikan perbedaan temperatur mempengaruhi tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan oleh termoelektrik.

Abstract

Some factors that affect the solar panels in producing electrical energy are temperature and temperature, another important point is the shadows that block the sunlight to reach the surface of the solar panels. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the solar panel configuration with various levels of shadows that block the sunlight. The method used is a simulation of the current and voltage characteristics produced by several solar panel configurations. The configurations used are Series Parallel (SP), Total Cross Tied (TCT), Triple Tied (TT), Bridge Link (BL) and Honey Comb (HC). The results showed that the electrical energy generated by the SP, TCT, TT, BL and HC configurations respectively were 501.9 W, 517.5 W, 508.1W, 502.5W, 507.2W. Thus it is known that TCT has the maximum results. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi dari panel surya untuk menghasilkan energi listrik adalah suhu dan temperature, factor lain yaitu bayangan yang menghalangi sinar matahari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat karakteristik dari konfigurasi pemasangan panel surya dengan berbagai tingkat bayangan yang terjadi. Metode yang digunakan adalah simulasi karakteristik arus dan tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh beberapa konfigurasi panel surya. Konfigurasi yang digunakan yaitu Series Parallel(SP), Total Cross Tied (TCT), Triple Tied (TT), Bridge Link (BL) dan Honey Comb (HC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan energi listrik yang dihasilkan pada konfigurasi SP, TCT, TT, BL dan HC secara berurut adalah 501.9 W, 517.5 W, 508.1W, 502.5W, 507.2W. Dengan demikian TCT memiliki hasil yang paling baik.

Abstract

UD. Pandawa Lima is a micro-business that produces mattresses. Product defects occur at UD. Pandawa Lima are stitching defects, mattress foam defects, and faded color defects. The purpose of this study is to use the seven tools method to find the most dominant defects and propose improvements to defects. The results showed that the most dominant defects occurred in faded color defects of 50 pcs with a percentage of 48.08%. Proposed improvements that need to be implemented are to add adequate rest hours to reduce excessive stitching defects, scheduling machine maintenance to reduce seam defects and foam size defects, choosing a reliable and good supplier to reduce faded color defects and foam size defects, and improve the production process methods to reduce color fading defects, stitch defects, foam size defects. The product defects occurred are still under controlled, it does not exceed the upper and lower control limits. There is a positive correlation, the higher production the higher level of defect in the product. UD. Pandawa Lima merupakan usaha mikro yang memproduksi kasur. Kecacatan produk yang dialami oleh UD. Pandawa Lima yaitu cacat jahitan, cacat busa kasur, dan cacat warna pudar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode seven tools untuk mencari kecacatan yang paling dominan dan mengungkap usulan perbaikan terhadap kecacatan yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecacatan paling dominan terjadi pada cacat warna pudar sebanyak 50 pcs dengan presentase 48.08%. Usulan perbaikan yang perlu diterapkan yaitu menambahkan jam istirahat yang cukup untuk memperbaiki cacat jahitan berlebih; penjadwalan perawatan mesin untuk mengurangi cacat jahitan dan cacat ukuran busa; memilih supplier yang terbaik untuk mengurangi cacat warna pudar dan cacat ukuran busa; dan perbaikan metode proses produksi untuk mengurangi cacat warna pudar, cacat jahitan, cacat ukuran busa. Kecacatan produk yang dialami masih terkendali dengan baik karena tidak melewati batas kendali atas maupun batas kendali bawah. Terdapat korelasi positif pada penelitian, apabila jumlah produksi tinggi maka tingkat kecacatan pada produk semakin tinggi.

Abstract

FGH is a Home Industry that produces bags. Statistical Quality Control (SQC) is a problem-solving technique used to monitor, control, analyze, manage, and improve products. SQC has 4 main statistical tools check sheets, histograms, control charts, and cause and effect diagrams. After observing and analyzing the UD. FGH for 6 months, it found that the highest product defects were unkempt stitches (191 products), the second product defects was damaged zippers (180 products), and the last product defects was brand logo damaged (140 products). In total there are 512 defective products from 4700 of the total products. Improvements that need to be made include choosing suppliers that have good quality, providing training to employees so that they can reduce human errors during production and provide adequate rest hours for workers. FGH merupakan Home Industry yang memproduksi tas. Statistical Quality Control (SQC) merupakan teknik penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan untuk memonitor, mengendalikan, menganalisis, mengelola, dan memperbaiki produk. SQC mempunyai 4 alat statistik utama yaitu check sheet, histogram, control chart, diagram sebab akibat. Setelah melakukan observasi dan analisia pada UD. FGH selama 6 bulan ditemukan kecacatan produk yang paling tinggi adalah jahitan tidak rapi sebanyak 191 produk, yang kedua adalah resleting rusak sebanyak 180 produk, dan yang terakhir logo merk rusak sebanyak 140 produk . Jumlah total ada 512 produk cacat dari 4700 dari total keseluruhan produksi. Perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan diantaranya memilih supplier yang memiliki kualitas yang baik, memberikan training kepada pegawai agar bisa mengurangi human error pada saat produksi dan memberikan jam istirahat yang cukup untuk pekerja.

Abstract

Zahra Barokah is a company that produces fish crackers. The problem that occurs is the defective products is too high, 5.84% from the total production of 4535kg in June - August 2021. It lead to the costs increase and the company loses. In this study, the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to identify the factors that cause these problems, to minimize product defects and reduce losses. The results showed that from the three types of defects, the one that had the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) was a knife on a blunt cutting machine. Suggested improvement recommendations based on the results of this study are: workers should carry out regular checks on the cutting machine; and provide understanding to workers regarding SOPs on cutting machines. UD. Zahra Barokah adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi kerupuk ikan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah tingginya jumlah produk cacat yang mencapai 5,84% dari total produksi 4535 kg pada bulan Juni - Agustus 2021. Sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan bertambah dan perusahaan mengalami kerugian. Pada penelitian ini, metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya permasalahan tersebut sehingga dapat meminimalisir produk cacat dan mengurangi kerugian. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dari ketiga jenis cacat yang terjadi, penyebab yang memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi ialah pisau pada mesin pemotong tumpul. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang disarankan berdasar hasil penelitian ini adalah: pekerja harus melakukan pemeriksaan pada mesin pemotong secara berkala; dan memberikan pemahaman kepada pekerja terkait SOP pada mesin pemotong.

Abstract

PT. Ravana Jaya is an industrial company engaged in the construction of building frames. The problem that occurs in this company is the high rate of work accidents. The purpose of using the HIRA and 5S methods in this study is to identify potential hazards that exist in companies with a 5S cultural approach to minimize work accidents in the workshop. The results of the risk assessment of this study contained 31 hazards as follows: 6 extreme risk categories, 15 high-risk categories, 4 moderate risk categories, and 6 low-risk categories. The results of the 5S proposal at each workstation, in a nutshell, workers must always clean the work area from garbage or material remnants, tidy up and be able to sort out materials of type and type to be used in one area, routinely perform machine maintenance and check the machines used, know SOPs that must be run from the tools or machines that will be used, workers must use complete PPE following the needs at each workstation. PT. Ravana Jaya adalah perusahaan industri yang bergerak di bidang kontruksi pembuatan kerangka bangunan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan ini adalah tingginya tingkat kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan menggunakan metode HIRA dan 5S pada penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya yang ada di perusahaan dengan pendekatan budaya 5S untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja di area workshop. Hasil risk assessment penelitian ini terdapat 31 identifikasi bahaya sebagai berikut: 6 kategori extreme risk, 15 kategori high risk, 4 kategori medium risk dan 6 kategori low risk. Hasil usulan 5S pada setiap stasiun kerja secara ringkas menunjukan pekerja harus selalu membersihkan area kerja dari sampah atau sisa – sisa dari material, merapikan dan dapat memilah material dari jenis maupun yang akan digunakan dalam satu area, rutin dalam melakukan perawatan mesin dan pengecekan mesin sebelum digunakan, mengetahui SOP yang harus dijalankan dari alat atau mesin yang akan digunakan, pekerja harus menggunakan APD dengan lengkap yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di stasiun kerja masing – masing.

Abstract

UD. Albarokah is a trading business one of which produces snack that we often eat daily namely mini opaque with three flavors, namely original, spicy, and green beans. In the study, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to get right priority of marketing strategy proposals, which can be applied to compaines to increase sales volume. The results of the priority alternative marketing strategies from the highest to the lowest are product strategy being the first priority choice, promotion strategy being the second choice, price strategy being the third choice, place strategy being the fourth choice, public relations strategy being the fifth choice. The recommendations for alternative strategies given are product packaging, trustworthy information messages, easily accessible information discovery, affordable prices, clear and easy-to-understand information, product quality, attractive prices discounts, ease of payment selection. UD. Albarokah adalah bisnis perdagangan yang salah satunya memproduksi makanan ringan yang sering kita makan sehari-hari yaitu opak mini dengan tiga rasa yakni original, pedas, dan kacang ijo. Pada penelitian ini, metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) digunakan untuk mendapatkan prioritas usulan strategi pemasaran yang tepat, yang dapat diterapkan pada perusahaan untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan. Hasil prioritas strategi pemasaran dari yang tertinggi sampai yang terendah yaitu strategi produk menjadi pilihan prioritas pertama, strategi promosi menjadi pilihan kedua, strategi harga menjadi pilihan ketiga, strategi tempat menjadi pilihan keempat, strategi hubungan masyarakat menjadi pilihan kelima. Rekomendasi alternatif strategi yang diberikan yaitu kemasan produk, pesan informasi dapat dipercaya, penemuan informasi mudah diakses, harga yang ditawarkan terjangkau, informasi bersifat jelas dan mudah dipahami, kualitas produk, potongan harga yang ditawarkan menarik, kemudahan pemilihan pembayaran.

Abstract

The supply chain is one of the factors that are very influential in the production process in a company. In actual conditions, often in the production process, there are still many defective products that will be sent to buyers. Therefore, this study aims to propose a single-vendor single-buyer inventory model with consideration of the presence of defective products to minimize the total joint inventory cost. An iterative algorithm is used to obtain optimal values of the frequency of shipments and the cycle length resulting in a minimum total joint inventory cost. The results of the numerical examples and sensitivity analysis indicate that proposed integrated model gives a significant cost saving along with a high percentage of defective products. Supply chain atau rantai pasok merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh dalam proses produksi di suatu perusahaan. Pada kondisi yang sebenarnya, seringkali pada proses produksi masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat yang nantinya akan terkirim kepada pembeli. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan sebuah model persediaan produsen tunggal pembeli tunggal dengan pertimbangan adanya produk cacat guna meminimalkan total biaya persediaan gabungan. Algoritma iteratif digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai optimal dari frekuensi pengiriman dan lama siklus dalam menghasilkan total biaya persediaan gabungan yang minimum. Hasil dari contoh numerik dan analisis sensivitas menunjukkan bahwa model terintegrasi yang diusulkan memberikan penghematan biaya yang cukup signifikan seiring dengan tingginya persentase produk cacat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effective Power of Diesel Engine Test Rig Mod.E TD301 Using Biodiesel Fuel From Coconut Oil. The research was carried out at the Energy Conversion Machine testing laboratory at the State University of Makakassar from November 2020 to December 2020. Tests for the properties and chemistry of Biodiesel were carried out at the Sucofindo Cibitung laboratory. In this study, researchers used 5 types of fuel oil, namely, 1. Pertamina diesel, 2. a mixture of 75% Pertamina diesel with 25% biodiesel, 3. a mixture of 50% Pertamina diesel with 50% biodiesel, 4. a mixture of 25% Pertamina diesel with 75 % biodiesel, 5. 100% biodiesel. Of the five fuels, the highest effective power is obtained from 100% biodiesel fuel and the lowest is Of the five fuels, the highest effective power is obtained from 100% biodiesel fuel and the lowest is obtained from Pertamina diesel fuel rotation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Daya Efektif Mesin Diesel Test Rig Mod.E TD301 Dengan Mengunakan Bahan Bakar Biodiesel Dari Minyak Kelapa. Penelitian di laksanakan pada laboratorium pengujian Mesin Konversi Energi Universitas Negeri Makakassar pada bulan November 2020 sampai bulan Desember 2020. Pengujian sifat dan kimia Biodiesel di laksanakan pada laboratorium Sucofindo Cibitung. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan 5 macam bahan bakar minyak yaitu, 1. Solar pertamina, 2. campuran 75% solar pertamina dengan biodiesel 25%, 3. campuran 50% solar pertamina dengan 50% biodiesel, 4. campuran 25% solar pertamina dengan 75% biodiesel, 5. 100% biodiesel. Dari kelima bahan bakar tersebut Daya Efektif yang paling besar di dapatkan pada bahan bakar biodiesel 100% dan terendah di dapat pada bahan bakar solar pertamina.

Abstract

A Roll former is a tool used to form the surface of the rims. Roll former often experiences anomalies in its movement that make the formation of the rim after going through the roll former not so good. The anomaly was caused by a crack in the keys roll former. To deal with this, simulation analysis and modification of the design are carried out. The simulation was done using CAE with SolidWorks software. In the simulation, the research object used bolts with AISI 4130 material and keys with AISI 1045 material. Simulation is used to obtain the maximum stress and tensile stress, and displacement of the key roll former. Based on the results of the research was found that the roll formers locks with keys have better strength than the roll former locks that use bolts. From these results, the roll formers locks are modified from the one that used bolts for keys. Roll Former merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk membentuk permukaan pelek. Roll former seringkali mengalami anomali pada gerakannya yang membuat hasil pembentukan pelek setelah melalui roll former tidak begitu baik. Anomali tersebut disebabkan oleh crack pada pengunci roll former. Untuk menangani hal tersebut maka dilakukan analisis secara simulasi dan modifikasi pada desain. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan CAE dengan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Pada simulasi tersebut objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah baut dengan material AISI 4130 dan pasak dengan material AISI 1045. Simulasi digunakan untuk memperoleh tegangan maksimum, tegangan tarik, dan perubahan bentuk pada pengunci roll former. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengunci roll former dengan pasak memiliki kekuatan yang lebih baik dari pengunci roll former yang menggunakan baut. Dari hasil tersebut maka pengunci roll former dimodifikasi dari yang awalnya menggunakan baut menjadi pasak.
