Abstract

There are about 87% of motorcycles used by motorists on the streets are automatic type motorcycles which are dominated by Honda Beat. Seeing the interest of the world community about their interest in automatic motorcycles, it is necessary to conduct research to analyze the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) system on this motorcycle. The method used in this research is the troubleshooting analysis method. Troubleshooting is a method for observing symptoms, diagnosing damage, conducting inspections and measurements, identifying damage based on the results of inspections and measurements, and determining corrective steps if repairs must be made. The results of this study are recommendations for troubleshooting steps on the Honda Beat CVT system. With this troubleshooting step, technicians have a reference to carry out maintenance and repair of Honda Beat automatic motorcycles, especially on the CVT system. Terdapat sekitar 87% sepeda motor yang digunakan pengendara dijalanan adalah sepeda motor tipe matic yang didominasi oleh Honda Beat. Melihat animo masyarakat dunia tentang minat mereka terhadap sepeda motor matic maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis sistem CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) pada sepeda motor ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis troubleshooting. Troubleshooting adalah metode untuk mengamati gejala, mendiagnosis adanya kerusakan, melakukan pemeriksaan dan pengukuran, mengidentifikasi kerusakan berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan dan pengukuran, serta menentukan langkah perbaikan jika harus dilakukan perbaikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi langkah troubleshooting pada sistem CVT Honda Beat. Dengan Langkah troubleshooting ini para teknisi memiliki acuan untuk melaksanakan perawatan dan perbaikan sepeda motor matic Honda Beat khususnya pada sistem CVT.

Abstract

This paper describes a problem in computer laboratory maintenance and inventory. Inventory of goods in Every company or institution always has a connection with the data management process of goods / equipment owned by the company. In addition to inventory, maintenance is also very necessary in order to keep company assets under control, safe, and always maintained. For this reason, an Inventory Information System is needed as well as a maintenance system in managing the data. The results of this design are focused on managing information about the management of goods and several aspects regarding the maintenance of goods, especially in the computer laboratory of SMK Bhakti Anindya. With the implementation of the maintenance information system and laboratory inventory at Bhakti Anindya Vocational School, data management and equipment maintenance will be better. Tulisan ini menjelaskan mengenai sebuah permasalahan dalam perawatan dan inventaris laboratorium komputer. Inventarisasi barang dalam Setiap perusahaan atau sebuah lembaga selalu memiliki keterkaitan dengan proses pengelolaan data barang / peralatan yang di miliki oleh perusahaan tersebut. Disamping inventarisasi, hal perawatan juga sangat diperlukan demi menjaga agar aset perusahaan terkontrol, aman, dan selalu terawat. Untuk itulah di butuhkan suatu Sistem Informasi Inventaris sekaligus sistem perawatannya dalam mengelola data tersebut. Hasil dari rancang bangun ini dititik beratkan pada pengelolaan informasi tentang pengelolaan barang dan beberapa aspek mengenai perawatan barang terutama pada bagian laboratorium komputer SMK Bhakti Anindya. Dengan diimplementasikannya sistem informasi Perawatan dan inventaris laboratorium di SMK Bhakti Anindya, pengelolaan data barang dan perawatan alat akan lebih baik.

Abstract

The manufacture and testing of the electro pneumatic trainer aims to overcome the limitations of the learning media and determine the effectiveness of the trainer as a learning medium for pneumatic courses. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis technique. The results of the program and functional input testing show that: (1) The push button test as I/O input works well; (2) The functional test of the trainer when given an average pressure of 79.5 psi produces a pneumatic piston speed output of 0.444 m/s. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the making of the Electro Pneumatic Trainer learning media can function properly. Pembuatan dan Pengujian trainer elektro pneumatik bertujuan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan media pembelajaran serta mengetahui efektifitas trainer sebagai media pembelajaran pada Mata Kuliah Pneumatik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pengujian input program dan fungsional menunjukan bahwa: Pertama, Pengujian push button sebagai input I/O bekerja dengan baik; Kedua, Pengujian fungsional trainer ketika diberi tekanan rata rata 79,5 psi menghasilkan output kecepatan piston pneumatik sebesar 0,444 m/s. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan Trainer Elektro Pneumatik dapat berfungsi dengan baik sesuai prosedur.

Abstract

One way to solve system control problems is by using pattern recognition. Many studies are related to pattern recognition, including artificial neural networks. This study develops an algorithm that combines artificial neural networks with Radial Basis Function (RBF) and Self-Organizing Maps (SOM). The proposed RBF-SOM algorithm was successfully realized with the MATLAB routine program and tested with the case of iris data recognition. The results of the recognition rate show that the developed artificial neural network has a good performance with an average of 98%. Salah satu upaya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pengendalian system adalah dengan melakukan pengenalan pola. Banyak penelitian yang terkait dengan pengenalan pola diantaranya dengan jaringan syaraf tiruan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah algoritma perpaduan antara jaringan saraf tiruan Radial Basis Function (RBF) dan Self-Organizing Maps (SOM). Algoritma RBF-SOM ini berhasil direalisasikan dengan program MATLAB dan diuji dengan kasus pengenalan data bunga iris. Hasil recognition rate menunjukkan bahwa jaringan saraf tiruan yang dikembangkan tersebut memiliki performa yang baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 98 %.

Abstract

This study was carried out to analyze the quality of college websites in Sumatra in terms of usability of the website. Results of the analysis presented as ranking using TOPSIS method. The object of this study was five university websites in Sumatra, Lampung University (UNILA), Medan State University (UNIMED), Andalas University (UNAND) Padang State University (UNP), and Sriwijaya University (UNSRI) with 7 criteria including accessibility, customization and personalization, download speed, ease of use, errors, navigation, and site content. Results of the research that has been calculated then ranked using TOPSIS. The results of the research show that UNAND’s website has the most excellent usability with value similarity to the ideal solution is 0.707. Compared with webometrics’ rank released in July 2021, there is a difference in ratings. Such differences may occur because the study was measuring the usability of its website and using TOPSIS method while webometrics uses different indicators. Penelitian ini menganalisa kualitas website beberapa universitas di Sumatera ditinjau dari usability website. Hasil analisis disajikan dalam bentuk rangking dengan menggunakan metode TOPSIS. Objek penelitian ini merupakan website Perguruan Tinggi di Sumatera, yaitu Universitas Lampung (UNILA), Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED), Universitas Andalas (UNAND) Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), dan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website UNAND memiliki usability yang paling baik dengan nilai similarity to ideal solution adalah 0,707. Dibandingkan dengan peringkat webometrics, terdapat perbedaan peringkat. Perbedaan tersebut dapat terjadi karena penelitian mengukur usability website dan menggunakan TOPSIS, sedangkan webometrics menggunakan indikator berbeda.

Abstract

The use of air conditioning affects energy consumption. Thermal load is a big factor that affects energy consumption by air conditioners. For this reason, the thermal load of a room needs to be reduced. One strategy to reduce the room's thermal load is the use of phase change materials (PCM). Coconut oil is a PCM that has a freezing temperature in the range of 21.30 – 21.73 oC which will be investigated in this study. The test was carried out with three room models; without PCM, with PCM partition, and PCM partitioned with night air. Each room model carried out 3 variations of air temperature, as well as 4 variations of the heater. The results showed that the use of coconut oil PCM as a room partition can help reduce the room temperature to 2oC below the AC temperature with a decrease in the use of electrical energy reaching 400 Watts. Air conditioner (AC) merupakan alat untuk mengondisikan udara pada sebuah ruangan. Penggunaannya berdampak pada konsumsi energi listrik. Beban termal menjadi faktor besar yang mempengaruhi konsumsi energi oleh AC. Untuk itu beban termal dari sebuah ruangan perlu dikurangi. Salah satu strategi untuk mengurangi beban termal ruangan yaitu penggunaan phase change material (PCM). Minyak kelapa merupakan PCM yang memiliki suhu beku dengan rentang 21,30 – 21,73 oC yang akan diteliti kali ini. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tiga model ruangan yaitu non PCM, berpartisi PCM, dan berpartisi PCM dengan udara malam. Masing-masing model ruangan dilakukan 3 variasi temperatur udara ,serta 4 variasi heater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan PCM minyak kelapa sebagai partisi ruangan dapat membantu menurunkan temperatur ruangan sampai 2oC dibawah temperatur AC dengan penurunan penggunaan energi listrik mencapai 400 Watt.

Abstract

The Cross-flow turbine is one type of hydroelectric power plant that is frequently used. This is an experimental study with the goal of analyzing the power and efficiency produced by the turbine as a result of runner rotation adjustments. The runner rotation variations used are 261 rpm, 300 rpm, 320 rpm, 340 rpm, 360 rpm, 380 rpm, 392 rpm, and 423 rpm with a head as high as 5 meters and an incoming water discharge of 0.2 m3/s. The best results shown when runner rotate at 423 rpm. It's showed the maximum power 788.85 Watt and best efficiency 80.49%. The power and efficiency produced by a runner are proportional to the rotational speed of the runner; the higher the runner's rotation, the greater the power and efficiency produced. To summarize, the best way to achieve the best turbine performance is to maximize runner rotation. Salah satu jenis pembangkit listrik tenaga air yang sering digunakan adalah turbin tipe Cross-flow. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya dan efisiensi yang dihasilkan turbin akibat perubahan putaran runner. Variasi putaran runner yang digunakan yaitu 261 rpm, 300 rpm, 320 rpm, 340 rpm, 360 rpm, 380 rpm, 392 rpm, dan 423 rpm dengan head setinggi 5 meter serta debit air yang masuk 0,2 m3/s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya dan efisiensi maksimum didapatkan pada putaran runner 423 rpm yaitu 788,85 Watt dengan efisiensi 80,49%. Terbukti bahwa daya dan efisiensi sebanding dengan kecepatan putaran runner, semakin tinggi putaran runner maka daya dan efisiensi yang dihasilkan juga semakin besar. Dapat disimpulkan, untuk mendapatkan kinerja turbin yang maksimal yaitu dengan memaksimalkan putaran runner.

Abstract

Overstock is a problem that often occurs in inventory management, the factor are the number of sales and expired date. CV.A is a distributor company for goods. In case of inventory control at CV.A, this study compared two kind of sales forecasting system; Weighted Moving Average (WMA) and Exponential Smoothing (ES) methods. Research results showed the forecast sales for SNACK X using WMA method in July 2021 is 1662, while the ES method is 1697. After performed forecasting, the error value of the two methods was calculated. As the results, Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and the Mean Squared Error (MSE) of WMA are 630 and 767304, respectively. For ES the MAD and MSE value are 626 and 806949, respectively. Based on the results, WMA has a smaller error value, it can be concluded that WMA is better than the ES method. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada manajemen persediaan adalah terjadinya kelebihan stok (overstock), faktor penyebabnya adalah banyaknya penjualan dan terbatas masa kadaluarsa. CV.A adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distributor barang. Untuk pengendalian persediaan barang pada CV.A, peneliti mengimplementasikan peramalan menggunakan metode Weighted Moving Average (WMA) dan Exponential Smoothing (ES). Dari hasil penelitian, peramalan penjualan produk SNACK X dengan metode WMA untuk bulan juli 2021 adalah sebanyak 1662, sedangkan dengan metode ES diramalkan sebanyak 1697. Setelah melakukan peramalan, kemudian dihitung nilai error dari kedua metode tersebut, sehingga didapatkan hasil Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) dan Mean Squared Error (MSE) dari WMA masing-masing adalah 630 dan 767304, dan untuk ES nilai MAD dan MSE adalah 626 dan 806949. Jika dibandingkan kedua metode tersebut WMA memiliki nilai error lebih kecil sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa WMA lebih baik dibanding metode ES.

Abstract

PT. Radian Putra Metropolindo Pratama is a company that manufactures military and non-military accessories. This research is based on not yet optimal of quality control application in the knitting process and high percentage of NG. The solution method used is a tool 4QC, including check sheet, scatter diagram, control chart, fishbone diagram and FMEA. Based on production data for the period September to October 2021 the number of NG grey in the process of knitting reach of 2.01%. Improvement analysis is performed to see other potential failures using FMEA with severity, occurrence and detection value calculations. The results of the weighting RPN identify three potential failure high, that the defect needle, broken needle, and closed needle, each of 108, 144, and 144. Recommended actions given, including periodic inspection of component materials, repair of storage systems, making schedules of maintenance and repair of components, update of knitting SOP, and operator training. PT. Radian Putra Metropolindo Pratama adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi aksesoris militer dan non militer. Penelitian ini didasari oleh belum optimalnya penerapan pengendalian kualitas pada proses rajut dan tingginya persentase NG. Metode penyelesaian yang digunakan adalah 4QC Tools, diantaranya lembar periksa, diagram sebar, peta kendali, diagram tulang ikan dan FMEA. berdasarkan data produksi periode September sampai Oktober 2021 jumlah grey NG pada proses rajut mencapai 2,01%. Analisis perbaikan dilakukan menggunakan FMEA dengan perhitungan nilai severity, occurrence dan detection. Hasil pembobotan RPN mengidentifikasi tiga potensi kegagalan tertinggi, yaitu jarum rusak, jarum patah, dan jarum menutup, masing-masing sebesar 108, 144, dan 144. Rekomendasi tindakan yang diberikan, diantaranya pengecekan berkala bahan komponen, perbaikan sistem penyimpanan, membuat jadwal perawatan dan perbaikan komponen, pembaruan SOP rajut, dan pelatihan operator.

Abstract

Pasar Rabu Tani is a business organized by the Koperasi Mandiri dan Merdeka (KMDM) which consists of a number of Andalas University academics which aims to provide healthy food needs to consumers. So far, in marketing its products, KMDM uses various media platforms such as whatsapp, google form and Instagram. The goal of this research is to produce an application that provides convenience for consumers and producers in meeting the needs of healthy food. The method used to develop this application is the waterfall method. This application was developed using android, flutter framework, JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). The final result of this research is an application that can be accessed through various smartphone devices. With the Pasar Rabu Tani application, it will be a good thing for the community to meet their food needs by staying at home but being able to shop for healthy food needs quickly and accurately. Pasar Rabu Tani, merupakan sebuah usaha yang diselenggarakan oleh Koperasi Mandiri dan Merdeka(KMDM) yang beranggotakan sejumlah akademisi Universitas Andalas yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan kebutuhan pangan sehat pada konsumen. Selama ini dalam pemasaran produknya, KMDM menggunakan berbagai platform media seperti whatsapp, google form dan instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang memberikan kemudahan bagi konsumen dan produsen dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan yang sehat. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi ini adalah metode waterfall. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dengan meggunakan android, framework flutter, JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi yang dapat diakses melalui berbagai perangkat smartphone. Dengan adanya aplikasi Pasar Rabu Tani ini memudahkan masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan dengan tetap dirumah saja tetapi dapat berbelanja kebutuhan pangan sehat dengan cepat dan tepat.
