Abstract

The background of this research problem, among others, clearly visible differences in the ability of learning Arabic in the same class even though the material provided in accordance with the student's academic level. This study used a qualitative approach that seeks to describe actual realities on the ground. Data collection methods used include, library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. Field was discovered that 1) there are things that Affect several differences in ability levels of students in learning Arabic in the same class, 2) some of the solutions that can be used to overcome reviews these problems. The conclusion that each individual is different in some respects, particularly in learning Arabic and learning methods by teachers varied greatly affect in tackling these problems. Individual differences among students who appeared in learning Arabic as a second language are: age, sex, closeness between the first language learners and the Arabic language, mastery of the first language learners, Personal factors, the tendency of language, attitude towards Arabic and culture, motivation to learn Arabic, learning styles and so forth.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the letter أن in the Qur'an surah Al-A`rāf which is not in accordance with the basic theories of Arabic linguists regarding the letter أن. Researchers use the content analysis method. Based on research that has been done, it was found that in the Al-A`rāf letter there are several syntactic functions of Mu muwal muawwal from the letter أن with the words afterwards. The syntactic functions found are found in three i`rāb, namely rafa`, naṣab, and jar. From i`rāb rafa` there are those who occupy the positions of fā`il, mubtada, isim كان, and khabar mubtada; in i`rāb naṡab some occupy the positions of maf`ūl bih, khabar كان and his brothers, maf`ūl li ajlih, mustaṡnā muttaṣil, and ma`ṭūf to isim manṣūb; in i`rāb jar there are majrūr by jar letters, domiciled as muḍāf ilaih, and ma`ṭūf to isim majrūr.

Abstract

Islam came to brought a major contribution to develop society. Among them, enrichment of words absorption from the Al-Qur’an. This is provied by the strong relationship since Islam entered Sunda. This study aims to find out the phonological, and morphological changes of their, and also to determine the method of their use in teaching Arabic. Researcher used a descriptive analysis method. The way to compare the two languages, between Arabic and Sundanese, using two dictionaries. Then describe and analyze them, and try to apply them in teaching Arabic. The results showed changes in them in terms of phonological, which is divided into four: sound removal, sound impairment, addition of sounds and changes in sound, and morphological which can take the form of masdar changes into fa'il, mufrad-jama', jama'-mufrad, Masdar-another masdar, and the addition of morpheme. This research also shows that they can be utilized in teaching Arabic.

Abstract

Textbooks must meet the criteria for suitable textbooks that have been set by BSNP, and the teaching material in them is quality teaching material. The purpose of this study was to determine the Arabic language textbook class VI Issued by Toha Putra. whether the textbook meets BSNP standards and meets the quality of the textbook based on aspects of selection, gradation, presentation and repetition. The method used is documentation study and literature study. Based on the results of this study the book is a book that is not in accordance with BSNP standards and meets the quality of teaching materials based on aspects of selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition.

Abstract

This research was conducted to overcome the problems faced by academics on the difficulty of understanding Arabic texts with the application of Google Translate.  Through qualitative descriptive methods, data obtained by interviews and questionnaires.  Then data is collected which finally found various problems.  Departing from these problems, the data are analyzed to find solutions to overcome them.  From the results of the study found a solution, namely there need to be several steps that can be used as a guide so that the translation results are commensurate in the target language.  These steps are (1) enter the whole text into the machine;  (2) copy the translated text into Microsoft words;  (3) read the entire equivalent in the target text;  (4) compile the target text according to the structure in the target language;  and (5) looking for the right equivalent in accordance with the culture contained in the source language and target language.

Abstract

In studying the Qur’an, we can use a variety of scientific studies as a basis and learn from them. This research aims to show the aspects of bayān majāz mursal knowledge in Surah Nuh verse 7. Translated to the inference model which pays attention to cognitive relevance and communicative, the meaning contained easier to understand. This research is qualitative study with descriptive analysis method. The results of this study are 1) in Surah Nuh verse 7 contains majāz  mursal with the type ‘alāqah kulliyyah 2) With the inference model of translation, the verse shows more communicative 3) The study manners can be taken are the student should avoid ignoring the truth, always accept critics and not being arrogant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of student difficulties in reading the Arabic text. That's because students often find it difficult to read or understand the content of a text in the Arabic language lessons Muṭāla'ah so the impact on learning outcomes Muṭāla'ah which is low ie with an average yield of 5.65. Though the ability to read has a very important role in learning Arabic also in everyday life. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. In this study, which is the subject of research is the students of class X MA Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Garut academic year 2014/2015. Results of the study revealed that factors student difficulties in reading the Arabic text can be classified into two factors. First, internal factors include the ownership experience and language competence of students was low, less interest in reading students, and students' motivation is low. Second, external factors, including factors of teachers who lack the mastery of the material, learning methods that are less attractive, the attitude of the teacher in the learning process assessed to be less enthusiastic, lack of instructional media used, the mobility of the position of a teacher in a classroom that is lacking in monitoring student activities, and lack of availability of textbooks.

Abstract

This research based on the first grade of MTs Ar-Rohmah’s students’ Arabic speaking skills. It was caused by the lack of application of  in speaking Arabic. The students often feels bored and lack of confidence. So, the researcher was interested to find out differences in student’s speaking skill using Edutainment method. This study used  quantitative approach, and quasi-experimental methodology. The techniques of collecting data are observation, interviews, test learning instruments, and documentation. The results are: (1) The mean value of experimental class’ pre-test has 41,25. Meanwhile in the control class has 51,40. (2) The mean value of experimental class’ post test has  63,43, meanwhile the control class has 59,68. (3) N-Gain Score’s test shows there was an increase in experimental class amounts 43.94% or 0,43 which in the average category. Besed on the results, the application of Edutainment method with ‘Listen-Repeat-Speak’ games can improve Arabic speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of lecturing Arabic by implementing a combination of singing and playing strategies. As for the main problems in this study are: (1) what is the process of implementing a combination of singing and playing strategies in Arabic lectures for Tadris Biology Study Program students? (2 how do their perceptions of the results of Arabic lectures by combining the two strategies?. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a combination of singing and playing strategies uses the following steps: (1) The lecturer started the Arabic lecture by singing Arabic songs that the Lecturer got while still teaching Arabic at the Al-Azhar Pare Institute, Kediri, East Java, (2) The lecturer explained the theme of the material and the purpose of the lecture to be held, (3) The lecturer implemented the "Memory Game" which was adopted from the book "99 Games in Arabic Language Learning. Researchers also found that 80.6% (29 students) and 19.4% (7 students) of the 36 TBG study program students who participated in lectures gave very positive responses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sentence structure of Arabic and Indonesian terms in Surah Al-Baqarah, their similarities and differences, and their implications for translation. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were documentation and triangulation studies. From the results of this study, researchers found 190 the number of shar'iyah in surah Al-Baqarah with various sentence structures. Then, some similarities and differences in the structure between the sentence terms in Arabic and Indonesian, as well as the implications of this study, the researcher found a tendency to translate adawat syará¹­ on the translation of the Ministry of Religion and Al-Mishbah.
