Abstract

As a result of the country's economic and military resurgence, China has become one of the primary actors in the effort to maintain stability in the Asia Pacific region. As a result of the United States' observation of this phenomenon, the nation's foreign policy shifted its focus from the Atlantic region to the Pacific region. The competition between the two great powers will have an effect on the safety of the surrounding area. As a result, the purpose of this paper is to attempt to discuss the security dynamics of the Asia Pacific region against the backdrop of the competition between the world's two most powerful superpowers, the United States and China. A qualitative approach, a method that involves reviewing previous research, and descriptive analysis were utilized in this study. The conversation will start with an analysis of the relationship between the two major powers in the region, followed by the creation of a picture depicting US dominance as the main power in Asia Pacific, which is rivaled by China through the development of military strength, and an examination of US defense policy and China's military development as a form of balance of power in the Asia Pacific region.

Abstract

Highways in Indonesia generally use this type of bending pavement. To get a good bending pavement, it is necessary to plan a good asphalt mixture. One type of bending pavement is Hot Rolled Sheet (HRS). The use of cement and stone ash in asphalt mixtures results in an increasingly expensive price. It is necessary to innovate to try to replace cement and stone ash with other materials. Alternatives to the filler substitute are zeolite powder and Kinang Jingkion Powder. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of using zeolite powder and Kinang Jingkion Powder as filler on HRS-WC hot asphalt mixture. This research was conducted by making a mixture of HRS-WC hot asphalt by using zeolite powder and Kinang Jingkion Powder as fillers with variations in asphalt content of 5.5%, 6.0%, 6.5%, 7.0% and 7.5% As a comparison, test objects with cement as filler were also made. Marshall Test results on Optimum Asphalt (KAO) 6.975% for Cement fillers received a stability value of 1242.90 Kg, MQ of 396.9 Kg / mm, VIM of 2.70% and VFB of 81.30%. Zeolite filler with KAO 7.04% received a stability value of 1335.8 Kg, MQ of 422.5 Kg/mm, VIM of 2.31% and VFB of 82.64%. Meanwhile, the Kinang Jingkion Filer with a KAO of 6.85% got a stability value of 1194.40 Kg, MQ of 460.2 Kg / mm, VIM of 2.68% and VFB of 80.16%.

Abstract

PT. XYZ Manufactures and distributes electrical products. XYZ Company there are some issue in production Line, for the assembly process on High-speed cables consists of 3 lines, namely the Cutting line, Assembly Line and Measurement Test Line. Where the Assembly Line has a fairly long process compared to other lines, with the occurrence of line imbalances in production causing idle time on other lines and the buildup of WIP inventory on the cutting line because the information between the cutting line and the assembly line data is not updated automatically. The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for improvement methods in the production process, such as kaizen and line balancing in the Assembly process, by recalculating the determination of the number of operators in production, relocating the assembly line to the Cutting line and Measurement test line, and developing a traceability system that integrates with each line. Researchers use Value stream mapping to find out the waste that occurs and the operation process chart to find out which processes need improvement. The results of this study resulted in an optimal line balance method and the optimal number of operators used for the manufacture of High-speed Cables, which can reduce production cycle time to 90.98 minutes from the previous 115.01 minutes and operator requirements to 29 operators from the previous 40 operators.

Abstract

The increase in the number of television stations, both national and local, from year to year followed by an increase in broadcast quality and quantity, is evidence of the development of television broadcasting media. Competition between television stations in Indonesia is not only in its function as a medium for delivering entertainment, but also in its function as a medium for delivering information or news. First established in 2015, CNN Indonesia is classified as a new media category and requires an extra strategy to introduce and attract viewers. At the beginning of its appearance, CNN Indonesia did not have as many viewers as it does now. The problem of the lack of number of viewers made CNN Indonesia implement a simulcast program strategy. This simulcast program is a means used to extension the number of CNN Indonesia's market to increase the number of viewers. With the big names of several media owned by Trans Media, several CNN Indonesia TV programs are broadcast on Trans TV, with this simulcast program strategy, the programs being watched on CNN Indonesia TV channel, they can also be watched on Trans TV. The target audience for news TV will certainly be different from other TV stations, such as entertainment TV. This study used a qualitative research approach with case study method using in-depth interviews three informant from CNN Indonessia TV and data from Research & Development Departement CNN Indonesia TV. This thesis uses media convergence theory, omnichannel marketing concept and target market expansion. The result of this research is, through the simulcast program, CNN Indonesia TV finally expands its target market by adding Trans TV viewers. This strategy has proven to be able to overcome the problems experienced by CNN Indonesia TV as a newcomer to get an increase in the number of viewers with simulcast programs on Trans TV. With the differences in characters between Trans TV viewers and CNN Indonesia TV, CNN Indonesia TV in the simulcast program must be modified and repackaged to match the content.

Abstract

Tetraparesis means weakness of muscle strength in all four extremities. Tetraparesis is one of the most common symptoms in daily practice but is often treated in a less comprehensive manner without finding out the root cause of the problem causing increased progression and worsening the prognosis of the disease. We report a case of cervical tetraparesis due to disc herniated in a 63-year-old woman with complaints of cramping in both hands for 10 months ago and lower back pain. Complaints such as tingling, fever, night pain, unexplained weight loss, nausea, and vomiting were denied. On physical examination, there was a decrease in motor strength in all four limbs, an increase in physiological reflexes, pathological reflexes positive, and decrease in sensory function. Cervical MRI examination revealed cervical spondylosis with degenerative discs. HNP Central discs C2 to C3, C4 to C5, and C5 to C6 pressing heavily on the thecal sac, no neural foramen narrowing was seen. Protrusion of C3 to C4 and C6 to C7 centers compressing the thecal sac and neural foramen bilaterally, suggestive of compression irritating to bilateral C3 and C6 roots. The treatment given was laminectomy surgery with pedicle fixation and pharmacologic such as Methylprednisolone 4 x 125 mg, Omeprazole 2 x 20 mg, Tizanidine 1 x 2 grams, Provlyn 3 x 50 mg, and Ketorolac tromethamine 3 x 10 mg with good results without any complication. The patient's prognosis is good.

Abstract

Implants are internal fixators that are implanted into the human body. Implantable materials that have biodegradable properties in recent years. This research aims to make a matrixed biocomposite of a mixture of polycaprolactone (PCL) and poly(l-lactic acid (PLLA) with a modified nano hydroxyapatite (nHA) filler of one of the silane coupling agents, namely 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and analyze the effect of the addition of PLLA and nHA on morphology and elements. PCL was chosen as a matrix because it has biodegradable, ductile and low degradation rate properties and is mixed with PLLA because it has high biodegradable and mechanical properties but a high degradation rate. So, combining PCL and PLLA can make the mechanical properties of the polymer more optimized and promising for use in bone fixation devices. nHA was chosen because it has bone-like properties and has excellent biocompatibility. The variations used are PCl/PLLA composition ratios of 70:30, 80:20, 90:10 and the addition of nHA modified by APTES with variations of 10, 20, and 30%. The results of the SEM analysis show that with the addition of the percentage of PLLA and nHA 20% get optimal results. EDX results validate the elements or elements contained in the PCL/PLLA/nHA biocomposite.

Abstract

The city of Medan is one of the big cities that is not spared from sexual crimes against children. Pedophilia or what is familiarly called (a pedophile) is a deviant symptom experienced by a person (adult human) in sexuality, where a pedophile tends to be interested in having intercourse with or molesting minors. Pedophilia is classified as a disease disorder that a person can experience due to two factors, the first is an internal factor, this is because the previous perpetrator was also a victim of acts of sexual violence, and that is what drives pedophiles to do the same to them. other people in the hope that he doesn't feel alone and is the same as him. The second factor is external (external) factors, the environment has a major influence on a person's life, as well as perpetrators of sexual violence against children. by some things like porn videos. The research was conducted in Medan City by involving the police, the community, the Koran, and the victims' parents. The results of the study show that pedophiles have had sexual disorders or traumatic factors in the past where perpetrators should also be given rehabilitation because of the tendency to be more sexually attracted to children and not just prison sentences to create a deterrent effect.
