Abstract

Problems distribution where the transport vehicle departs from depot to get to some destination point by passing through multiple routes and come back to the same depot better known as the Vehicle Routing Problem ( VRP ) . VRP is an NP - hard problem Combinatorial means more size or variable problem, efforts to make computing will also increase exponentially. This is the background of this research by applying algorithms Sequential Insertion resolve the problems of VRP to determine the optimum (minimum of vehicles and duration ) in the distribution of fuel in the eastern region of Indonesia with the characteristics of VRP with heterogeneous fleet of vehicles , VRP with multiple trips , VRP with split deliveries, VRP with multiple products and multiple compartements.

Abstract

Developing a product must meet technical and economic requirements so that product quality and it can be beneficial to society. Wheel design is one product that has been widely circulated in the community. Cases were found in some of the local manufacturing industry rims are the methods used to analyze a product of its wheels trial and error, as a result many losses at this stage of the production process. The purpose of this study was to determine the fatigue life of the products racing wheels are modeled in three forms then numerically simulated by applying a load of normal force acting on the wheels , and the engine rotation. Fatigue analysis results of three models of wheel racing Toyota Avanza produced , acquired age racing wheels 4.8 x 109 cycle. When compared with the value of Endurance limit A356.0 - T6 Aluminum Alloy 5 x 108 cycles, then the design is relatively high cycle or infinite cycle, means it will fail in a long time. Alternating value of maximum stress of the largest found on all three wheels models worth 4.4733 x 107Pa, while the smallest maximum alternating stress on models wheels are both worth 2.6779 x 107Pa . Safety factor The minimum value of 3.6156 on the model of the second wheel, while the smallest minimum 2.1645 Safety Factor for the third wheel models. This means wheels secure the second model is used for loading normal force of 2870.817 N than the first model and wheel rims third model.

Abstract

PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk., a state-owned enterprise and the largest service and network provider in Indonesia, always prioritizes to meet the need of consumers. The fit between consumers want and company's services become one measure of the success of the company's performance. Therefore, a research is conducted to study a communication gap of Telkom Speedy Services, which is measured by a comparison of customer expectation yielding by promotion activities and customer perception forming by actual services. Result shows a significant difference between customer expectation and customer perception.

Abstract

Environment, especially in urban areas or places where people do their activities need to kept safe and comfortable for the survival of people who move in it. The Pattimura University campus which currently holds about 20.444 students requires environment that remain comfortable and beautiful to be occupied by academicians, educators and students. Green Campus strategies should be developed by analyzing the factors that influence both internal and external. By using SWOT analysis, results of the research show that the index factor was 0.51 strengths and weaknesses, and opportunities and threats factor index is 0.68, which means that this university in aggressive position: strengths can eliminate weaknesses and opportunities will minimize the threat. Determining the optimal strategy is calculated by using QSPM. S- O strategy is to create an academic community participation and education personnel organized through the green campus-based activities with TAS value = 6,32. W-O strategy is green campus of the application of the policy through media relations and NGOs with TAS value = 6,58. S-T strategy is to make rules and guidelines for the campus management with the concept of a green campus, TAS value = 6,31. W-T strategy is carry out research on the campus environmentally sustainable with TAS value = 6,11.

Abstract

Civil registration services, as a product of Population and Civil Registration Agency, has operated with bureaucracy that take a lot of time to complete. Since internet network become information sharing tool to support local development, putting service application of civil registration in network will change performance of the present system and have a high level of efficiency and affectivity. The designed application in this research are administration system of civil registration, especially to produce a Birth Certificate using biometric (finger print) as an identification and management system documents using database server. This application must be interactive because has been developed to enhance the performance of personnel department staffs and simultaneously performing common perception among staffs of the agency, villages/kelurahan and hospital (the places to enter the application data of civil registration) and related institutions such as local government, KPU and BPS. Application systems designed are using object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) method with UML as modeling language.

Abstract

Forecasting always provide different results to its actual values, that are negative or positive difference. Economically, these dissimilarities have impact on losses. This article aims to (1) establish a forecasting model to forecast the demand of packaged drinking water (AMDK) based on the actual data pattern of Aiso and Ayudes; (2) establish a partial forecasting model according to performance criteria of model; and (3) compare the expectation value of economic losses among each model. Result of study presents Single Exponential Smoothing as the chosen model with lower error to forecast AMDK demand. It also shows that the lower expectation of economic losses for AMDK Aiso is provided by Trend Analysis model, while the highest expectation yielded by Moving Average and Single Exponential Smoothing model. The lower expectation of economic losses for AMDK Ayudes is provided by Trend Analysis model, while the highest expectation yielded by Double Exponential Smoothing model. The minimum expectations of economic losses produced by Trend Analysis Model are Rp. 229.781.833 (AMDK Aiso) and Rp.279.120.911 (AMDK Ayudes).

Abstract

Scheduling is an important process in courses that established by filling numbers of component like major, lecturer, class and semester in timeslot, consisting of time and room. Scheduling systems of Engineering Faculty of Pattimura University perform manually that are not effective and efficient yet and might not be used for a long-term. Integer linear programming is a method to modeling scheduling problems with various obstacles that fitted to university needs. The aims of research are to formulate obstacles functions, objective function, optimal solution and sensitivity analysis of integer linear programming; and to obtain the best courses schedule using integer linear programming method. The result shows that obstacles functions could be formulated for getting an optimal solution. There is not a clashed schedule among lecturers who teaches more than one course.

Abstract

Composite materials with natural fiber filler have widely known in the manufacturing industry. Environmentally friendly material, which is able to be recycled, and can be destroyed itself by nature is a requirement of today's technology. Coco fiber is a natural fiber derived from the processing of coconut wastes that are abundant in the Moluccas and has not utilized optimally. A research are conducted with focus on getting the maximum value of volume variation fraction of coco fiber to the value of bending strength and impact strength, in accordance with the desired application. This research uses Hands Lay Up method in manufacturing the fiber composite sole with a variation of the volume fraction of coconut fiber 90%: 10%, 80%: 20%, 70%: 30%, 60%: 40%, 50%: 50%. The dependent variable is strength bending and impact strength. Results show that an increase in bending strength and impact strength with escalation of volume fraction. The highest bending strength of coco fiber composite is obtained at fraction volume 40% (90 709 MPa), the bending strength lowest at fraction volume 10% (66 520 MPa), Price Impact highest at fraction volume 50% (0203 J / mm2) and the lowest in fraction volume 10% (0.041 J/mm2).

Abstract

Rapid economic progress to encourage the increasing transport demand, on the other hand the natural environment that supports the livelihood of human beings increasingly threatened the quality, so that the negative effects of air pollution on human life is increasingly growing. Experimental research conducted by varying the motor rotation, to measure exhaust emissions on the motorcyle, by applying a Helmholtz resonator and the air blower in the carburator skep ventury . Measurement results showed that the concentration of exhaust emissions standard carburetor produce CO gas amounted to 2255.8 ppm, NO 29 ppm and 28 ppm SO2. whereas the application of Air Blower and the Helmholtz resonator, exhaust emissions decreased, whereas levels of CO gas emissions amounted to 2478.2 ppm and 16 ppm NO and SO2 shows a slight increase of 28.2 ppm.

Abstract

Beach tourism is one of tourism protections that able to be developed in South Leitimur district. The development of this tourism will increase local income (PAD), community's economic and provide opportunities for external investor to invest on tourism in this district. Since requiring a lot of time, energy and money, a simultaneously tourism development along the beach on this district will face a very difficult challenges. Therefore, a research performs to identify selected criteria of developed location and propose the worthy location to build tourism at that district. By using Fuzzy TOPSIS method, results of analysis recommend Naku's beach as chosen alternative after rated by entrepreneur respondents who has experienced in beach tourism at Ambon Island.
