Abstract

Sunday school is church organization formed to teach children about Christianity. With the material given, hopefully, children will grow by faith and have better character and become someone who has strong faith in God. Family’s role, especially parents’, is so important in educating and supporting children’s growth in faith and character. Although, it can not be denied that a complete education facility consists of four essential pillars. First, family where parents are the main source of character education for children. Second, church that religiously will help in forming children character. Third, government that protects children’s right legally. Fourth, environment in general.

Abstract

In the world of missiology, there is a wide range of methods and approaches to preach the good news (Gospel); from time to time the experts tried to make the methods and strategies to respond to the needs of the proclamation of the good news in accordance with the time. Jesus ' conversation with the Samaritan woman by nature on the banks of Jacob's well in town Sikhar, remains the inspiration that no fission by age, because the principles that Jesus used can still be applied as a method and strategy of delivering good news at the present time

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu sarana yang dipakai untuk mebangun kehidupan suatu bangsa, dan oleh sebab itu mahasiswa yang mengambil jurusan dalam bidang ilmu keguruan sedang dipersiapkan untuk menjadi agen perubahan dalam masanya kelak, untuk itu perlu adanya pembekalan yang memadai bagi para mahasiswa calon guru untuk memahami ilmu-ilmu keguruan yang cocok bagi profesi mereka, sehingga para mahasiswa calon guru dapat mengenal dan memahami tantangan apa yang akan dihadapi agar mereka dapat menjadi guru profesional dikemudian hari. Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan adalah sebuah tindakan mengaplikasikan teori dalam praktek, diharapkan dengan pengalaman ini mahasiswa dapat mengukur kemampuan dan kualitas mereka untuk bersiap menjadi guru di kemudian hari. Dengan terjun ke lapanagan yakni ke sekolah-sekolah yang dipersiapkan untuk tempat praktek, para mahasiswa dapat dengan luas menerapkan ilmunya dan membagikan ilmu pengetahuan yang sudah diperolehnya kepada siswa didik.

Abstract

Dalam ibadah agama, ada beberapa unsur, yaitu: orang, ibadah pribadi, dan tempat ibadah. Bangsa Israel sebagai umat pilihan Tuhan telah menggunakan Bait Suci untuk menyembah TUHAN. Itu karena keyakinan bahwa di dalam Bait Suci TUHAN hadir untuk membantu, memberkati, dan memberi mereka shalom. Umat pilihan Allah ini sangat membanggakan Bait Suci yang mereka bangun dengan sangat istimewa. Fungsi Bait Suci di tengah-tengah umat Israel sebagai tempat pertemuan dengan Tuhan, sebagai tempat ibadah kepada Tuhan.

Abstract

Christian leadership is leadership based on the principles of Christian belief that are built on biblical truth. The Community of God's Kingdom built by Jesus Christ is a different group from other groups in the world. Therefore the right leadership applied in leadership here is leadership that is not based on violence and authoritarianism but rather humble, afraid of sin, gentle, like truth, full of mercy, pure heart, peaceable, ready to suffer.

Abstract

The title of Abraham as "father of the faithful" written in the Bible contains various meanings related to the nature of the concept of salvation. This title breaks down some of the stories and history behind it in Genesis 12:10-20 which contrasts with the awarding of the title. A comprehensive in-depth study is needed from various points of view to find out the basis and purpose of God's choice fell on Abraham. Paul's perspective in the Romans and James's perspective in the James become the chosen reference for exploring the facts behind the title. The author's view is presented as a conclusion to the writings of Paul and James, and is understood as God's sovereign perspective on the salvation of mankind.

Abstract

Tugas bermisi merupakan tanggungjawab yang diembankan oleh Tuhan Yesus Kristus kepada seluruh orang Kristen. Pemikiran yang mendasari ide ini diambil dari 1 Korintus 9:1-23. Rasul Paulus memberikan beberapa prinsip dan pendekatan mengenai jembatan yang dapat dipakai oleh orang Kristen dalam melakukan tugas misi kepada setiap orang. Setiap orang merupakan prioritas kepada Injil dan setiap komunitas memiliki jembatan kepada Injil.

Abstract

God has established His church on the earth purposefully. One of God’s purposes in establishing His chruch is that the church can provide the answers for the very complex needs of this earth. This research is being conducted in order to discover the biblical model of the church’s ministries wholelistically using the roles and function of church leadership that are mentioned in the New Testament. The approach methode that is being used in this research, is exploring New Testament texts related to leadership role in the early church. The early Christian church was equiped with the roles of appostle, deacon and elder, each with their own responsibilities that complement each other in order to create wholistic ministry in the church.

Abstract

The Servant of God in the pastoral care of the congregation in the millennial era was subjected to severe testing and challenges. The influence of the progress and development of civilization greatly impacts and erodes the truth values that have been instilled by church fathers. Purity as a servant of God in carrying out the ministry of pastoral care is at stake. Loyalty to the Bible as a source of behavior and the carrying out of church service calls is questionable. And service as a servant of God has been a struggle in life throughout church history. This study aims to find the extent to which there has been a shift in the value of God's servants in carrying out their ministry. The result is a clear illustration of how important it is as a servant of God to remain consistent in keeping with the Bible, the source of behavior and measuring tools for the life of God's servants as a form of accountability for carrying out the ministry of pastoral care to God.

Abstract

Professionalism is a word that we often say when we see people working with all the skills and abilities that are qualified accompanied by a sense of full responsibility. Professionalism in work can be found in every profession anywhere, including in the teaching profession. By working professionally, a teacher will prioritize quality performance so that in every job the teacher will be seen as a very noble profession. In relation to Christian Religious Education teachers, Christian Religious Education teachers should carry out their duties with a full sense of responsibility, because they are called to be partners of God in educating the people. The teachers are God's servants who must continue to learn and emulate the Lord Jesus Christ as the Great Teacher who always cares for the people and leads them to the truth.
