Character education is an urgent need for quality Indonesian human development. Character education, apart from taking place in the context of the family and school, also takes place in the church environment. The purpose of this paper is to explain the significance of the church's strategic role as an educational agent and facilitator in shaping church members with Christ's character. The research method used is qualitative research with theological studies using the Bible and literature according to the subject, then analyzed and presented descriptively. From this research, it can be concluded that there are two strategies of the church in forming young generations with Christian characteristics, namely (1) the church must complete its wages, especially families so that the family functions as a place where Christian character and values live, grow and develop in children. ; (2) the church must equip its members who are teachers so that they are committed to Christ's call for the development of teacher professionalism.

The church in Indonesia is still struggling with contextualization effort that are able to land the understanding of Biblical Theology into the understanding of the local community. This happened because the church’s attitude tended to reject local wisdom and force western culture into the context of Indonesia Culture, especially the Kanayatn Dayak Culture. Several previous studies have tried to see how the Kanayatn Dayak tribe understand their faith in Jubata which is reflected in their local wisdom. However, these studied have no yet reach an attempt to estabilish Jubata’s identity as Yahweh. Therefore this article seeks to show that Jubata is Yahweh who has previously revealed himself to Israel, to build a contextual theology capable of transforming culture and the church, using qualitative research methods of ethnographic studies to examine to the local wisdom of the Kanayatn Dayak tribe and Intepretation textual to see how Yahweh existed in Exodus 3:14. The values of chirst must renew the local wisdom of the Dayak Kanayatn tribe and Jubata must be understood not as idols but as Yahweh who has sovereignty over the universe in the local wisdom version Dayak Kanayatn tribe. Because Jubata is Yahweh who has revealed himself with the phrase “I AM THAT I AM” to declare His eternal and sovereign existence to reveal himself to all mandkind, especially Dayak Kanayatn tribe.

ABSTRACT Mark 2:26 is one of the most disputed texts. The text's pivotal problem is around the accuracy between Jesus' narration and the historical facts in the Old Testament (1 Sam. 21:1-6). This discrepancy implies the authority of Christology and Bibliology in the Christian faith. This research was conducted to examine the text in order to answer the disputes around the text. The authors used a qualitative descriptive research method in this research with a textual criticism approach. The research approaches covered textual history, text's authorship history, and text's grammatical analysis. This research found that there were neither textual errors nor Jesus's mistakes in quoting a history. Addressing Abiathar as high priest is a part of the patristic culture in the priesthood tradition in Israel. Jesus’ motive in mentioning Abiathar closely related to the unfaithful story that has made him disposed as a high priest. Thus, the authority of Christ and the Bible as God's Word could not be overthrown by this passage. Keywords : Abiathar; High Priest; Mark 2:26

The relationship between the Christian and culture is the overarching theme in the Petrine epistles, making them relevant now as they were first penned. Both 1 and 2 Peter can be considered as “epistles of hope” with “the best commentaries on Matthew 5:10, ‘blessed are the persecuted because of righteousness…” This paper’s primary question is: “In calling his readers to be holy in all their conduct, what does Peter identify as help and hindrances?” The answers are discussions of identity: the “identity” of the One who elects, the present identity of the elected people, and the life that identifies them as elect in contrast to the identity of the non-elect. By admonishing his audience to consider these, Peter hopes that they will remain committed to their faith in the midst of persecution and challenges. Instead of despair and apostasy, Christians ought to remember their identity and calling as the chosen people of God.

Jonah was not the ideal model, chosen to learn how Christian missionaries should be. The contrary response to the call to be a servant of God becomes an interesting study to find out the background that shapes and pushes his attitude. The principles described in this paper lead to a paradoxical condition between missionary idealism and conditions in the field. Through the principles of hermeneutics, especially literary analysis, background analysis, context analysis, and theology, it tried to be used to find answer to the problems in Jonah's attitude which is contrary to his responsibility as the Prophet of God. The final purpose of this paper is the strengthening of the existence of God as God who provides opportunities for repentant humans, which is manifested in forgiveness, acceptance, cancellation of punishment, and restoration of relations with humans. The practical principles are drawn from the discussion become the standard for how Christians should respond through submission to God's authority.

God created a man for a purpose. Humans can achieve goals because God gives knowledge and abilities about these goals. That is how God establishes a leader in the family. God equips one's needs to be able to lead a family properly, appropriately and successfully. Leadership in the family is referred to as the head of the family, usually led by a man. Man in the family stands as husband to wife and as a father to children. A man carries out this leadership goal as leaders in providing the right, correct and good role models. It is not easy for family members to face a pandemic situation that limits all activities in living every day, so it impacts relationships and interactions. It can even lead to disputes and conflicts between family members. Researchers used qualitative methods with an exposition, interview and literature approach. The results and discussion found the basics of exemplary leaders in the family and then applied them in everyday life.
