<![CDATA[Worship is one of expression channel of human relationship with God through contextual worship, but the contextualization of worship also has the potenstial to lead to separation and devision of the Church. Shifting values in society also play a role so that worship has potential to experience a shift in values that are far different from its original essence, where worship can’t carry mission’s messages and foster missionary character in the congregation. This issue is interesting to study and leads to the need for the church to rebuild a correct theological basis in contextual worship. How to rebuild the theological basis of contextualized worship so that it fulfills the characteristics of missionary worship? These are question that will be answered in the study. The purpose of this research is to rebuild the theological basis of contextual worship to build the missionary character of the congregation. Worship in the Church of the Nazarene is carried out as an expression of the highest love for God which is full of missionary values. This research method will use a descriptive phenomenological analysis approach based on a literature review to explore the theological basis and get a bridge to the missionary Christian character. A study of culture is needed to get the sharpness of the contextualization aspect in worship, equipped with field observations to see its application in the field. It was concluded that it was necessary to return to teaching about building the theological and missionary foundations on contextuak worship to all practitioners and decision makers involved in contextual worship in the church through various teaching, monitoring and evaluation programs to all related parties.]]>

<![CDATA[Social media is a platform of collective interaction and communication with an internet connection. Various data says that youth and adolescents are the largest group of social media users. Many problems arise due to the neglect of healthy communication principles. This research aims to examine the principles and aspects of communication that need to be considered based on a textual study of James 3:1-12. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an exposition approach and hermeneutic principles in interpreting the text and referring to various literatures related to the subject of the study. The findings in the study show that healthy communication on social media must pay attention to social, personal, and spiritual aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[In this transition period adolescents are faced with various life challenges both from within themselves and from their environment, in facing these challenges not all teenagers are able to overcome them alone, the inability to face problems often leads teenagers to solve problems with suicidal solutions, so it is necessary to do something about it. youth-specific approach. The purpose of this study was to find out how pastoral counseling attempts with cognitive restructuring on adolescent suicide attempts. This research was conducted with a qualitative method with the type of social descriptive research. The result of this research is that in conducting pastoral counseling, the behavior of adolescent suicide attempts can be carried out with seven stages of pastoral counseling, namely; building relationships, history taking, diagnosis, treatment planning. treatmentt, evaluation and review and termination. This study uses one counseling technique that focuses on the mind, namely the cognitive restructuring. The implementation of pastoral counseling for adolescents who have attempted suicide can go through the seven stages above and focus on questions based on cognitive restructuring so that it can be formulated that pastoral counseling with cognitive restructuring is achieved if adolescents can map their minds, open up, and have good goals in life.]]>

<![CDATA[The survey results show that the church has played little role in sending missionaries to the regions. This is very concerning about the implementation of Christ's great commission. Therefore the authors researched how to maximize the role of the church in sending missionaries to the regions. Method for answering this research question, the authors use a qualitative approach. The discussion in this paper includes a shared perception of missionaries, the importance of the Church making missions, and how the church chooses and sends missionaries. From this discussion, it is obtained that the role of the church should be in sending missionaries to the regions.]]>

<![CDATA[The concept and teachings of redemption become a major desire for every religious person, including Christians. Through the teaching of atonement, every people are made aware that God works to liberate sinful humans through His acts of love. This work of God's liberation is understood as a form of human release from the power of sin so this teaching about redemption becomes the basic core of every religious teaching. One of the redeeming teachings of the Bible is found in the narrative of the bronze serpent statue in Numbers 21:4-9. However, it is not the only religion that talks about the teachings of redemption, every culture also has the teachings of redemption, including in this case the culture in the Nias community called Famatö Harimao. By using qualitative methods, especially library research and textual interpretation approaches, this research shows that the narrative of the copper snake statue can be used as the basis for contextualizing Famatö Harimao culture. The results of the study show that the Famatö Harimao culture which has been contextualized through the basis of Numbers 21:4-9 can still be lived and lived by the people of Nias because through this culture the people of Nias have a concept of redemption that is culturally and biblically accountable.]]>

<![CDATA[The new testament history of the apostles records that it is after Pentecost. The Lord's church is organism forged through the preaching of the apostles and the believers and then formed a fellowship within it. The bible records the early appearance of communion on ACTS 2:41-47 as a result of experiencing repentance from the apostle Peter's talk after Pentecost received by the apostles in Jerusalem's attic. The growth of the church at that time was based on the work of the holy ghost through the apostles and believers through the preaching being preached there were many converts and then in forming communities of believers. Such communion results from the work of the holy ghost in the lives of believers, so the role of the holy ghost has the effect of growth in the church both organisms are capable of forming a vast communion of the Lord's congregation.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract Humans are social beings who need their neighbors, especially those with limitations. Bringing home and warmth to them in the form of solidarity is a form of recognition of their existence in the midst of society. The basis for the enactment of solidarity in Christianity is the example and teaching of Jesus. This needs to be implicated in the life of the Church today. Therefore, this study will examine Jesus' Solidarity for people with disabilities: a practical implication of church solidarity with people with disabilities. The research method used is a qualitative type with a literature approach, namely books, journals and other documents. The result of this study is, First The basis of solidarity in Christianity is the example and teaching of Jesus. Second, church attendance as a form of practical implication of Jesus' example and teaching in building solidarity for people with disabilities.]]>

<![CDATA[The mission of Lutheran churches in Indonesia has recently been considered less developed than other streams, such as Charismatics and Pentecostals. This is due to the lack of significance in carrying out mission strategies by the Lord Jesus. It can be believed that the success of the mission of the Lord Jesus was influenced by the strategy used in carrying out the mission itself. In this study, researchers used a qualitative research method emphasizing literature study. Therefore, the Bible is the main source in this study, while books and journals are used as references. After conducting a study based on qualitative research methods, the focus of this research is proven that Jesus' mission strategy has contributed to significantly impact the success and development of the mission. The strategies of the Lord Jesus in carrying out His mission are choosing a team to be discipled, teaching in various places, the existence of mission material, serving with supernatural power, serving holistically, and not looking at people from various statuses. Jesus was very focused on fostering disciples to become evangelists and church planters. The strategy of the Lord Jesus, as described in this study, is very appropriate when applied in Lutheran churches in Indonesia so that this church stream will be more advanced in mission in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[This writing employs a qualitative approach to the method of literature research. In their apologetic activities, several Indonesian Christian apologists ended up in court because they were caught in blasphemy laws. The reason is that Christian apologists often consider acts of offense (attacking) other religious beliefs to be included in the scope of Christian apologetics. The Bible does not justify acts of apologetics to insult and demean other religious beliefs but to correct existing misunderstandings. An arrogant attitude in apologetics will cause new problems for apologists by trying to build a wall of enmity (separator) between opponents and the gospel that is conveyed so that it opens opportunities for the gospel to be reviled and rejected, as well as building a bad mindset about the gospel because Christian apologetics is not to win an argument but to pave the way for preaching the Gospel of Christ. Because the success of an apologist lies in a respectful and gentle attitude and behavior accompanied by a pure heart. So the research objective of this scientific paper is to expose the attitude that Indonesian apologists should have and to open the curtain on understanding misunderstandings in understanding offense perspective apologetics.]]>

<![CDATA[The learning process of education is essentially presented in a multi-ethnic and multicultural context. The presence of Christian Education (CE) within the scope of the school aims to provide enlightenment of thought for multi-ethnic and multicultural students in the dynamics of learning, especially in the learning process of Christian Education. Christian Education is presented as a bridge between ethnicities and cultures so that there are values of tolerance in the interpretation of the Christian Faith. The learning process of Christian Education takes precedence over the principle of humanist education to implement faith in the practice of life, namely, students respect each other and love each other as the Lord Jesus commanded believers. The purpose of this research was to see how the dynamics of multi-ethnic learning at SMA Kristen Wamena. This research was conducted at the Wamena Christian High School Senior High School. The qualitative method used for this research explains the reality of the dynamics of the learning process of multi-ethnic Christian education. The use of qualitative methods in this study is to reveal and understand something behind the phenomenon and gain insight and instil multi-ethnic and multicultural values in Wamena Christian High School students. The research result is that learning in SMA Kristen Wamena is heredity, and the learning process runs effectively and efficiently.]]>
