The Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang published Manajemen Bisnis (MB) journal in 2011. MB journal has been accredited for SINTA 4. MB journal is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published twice a year (April and October). This journal published articles in Bahasa but in 2019 MB journal published all articles in English. This journal only accepts articles from original research results. MB journal welcomes all articles related to management and business fields. Subjects suitable for publication include financial management, marketing management, human resource management, operation management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and international business. Manajemen Bisnis journal has been indexed in Google Scholar and DOAJ. MB journal keeps an attempt to be indexed in other journal directories.

Abstract

The research aims to analyse the effect of liquidity, profitability, and sales growth on stock price. Samples used in this study are food and beverage companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2010-2014 periods. Multiple linear regression method used to anlyse the effect of CR, ROE, and Sales Growth on Stock Price. The results showed that CR, ROE, and Sales Growth have a significant effect on Stock Price.

Abstract

The research was conducted in IslamicPrivate Hospital Malang and include 140 peoples as respondents. Questionnaires used as an instrumentfor collecting data. The analyses method uses Rank scale and product moment correlation. Theresults of research show that the organizational commitment is in good conditions as well as organizationalclimate. Whereas, the conditions of employee? job satisfaction is in the high level satisfied. Basedon the product moment show that the relationship between both organizational commitment and climateto the employee? job satisfaction are in the strong level. It means that all employees in Islamic PrivateHospital are having strong organizational commitment and feeling satisfaction when they are working.It is also the organizational climate, it supports to make employee enjoy their working.Keywords: organizational commitment and organizational climate, employee? job satisfaction, IslamicPrivate Hospital Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of shopping lifestyle, age and gender on impulse buying fashion products partially. The population in this study are all consumers who purchase fashion products at Malang Town Square (Matos), located on Jl. Veterans no. 2 Malang. The sample in this study is that consumers fashion products at Malang Town Square (Matos). The sampling method used was purposive sampling method.The analytical tool used to determine the effect of shopping lifestyle, age and gender on impulse buying fashion products at Malang Town Square (Matos) is Factor Analysis and Regression with dummy variables. Hypothesis testing is performed using the t test and the test of the coefficient of determination.Results of Multiple Linear Regression with dummy variables indicating that the shopping lifestyle and gender positive and significant effect on impulse buying fashion products at Malang Town Square (Matos), while age negatively affect impulse buying fashion products at Malang Town Square (Matos). The results of the t test showed that the variables that have the greatest influence is age

Abstract

The research aims to determine the response of stock investors to the changing of Republic Indonesia?s Finance Minister on 20th May 2013. Data used the company?s stock index in LQ45 2013. Technique of collecting data is using documentary methods. Data analysis is using event study, and statistics. The result shows that changing of Finance Minister Period 20th May 2013 does not have a significant impact on return and abnormal return to be earned by investors before, during, and after changing.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a social companion model of the Joint Business Group (KUBE). There were 50 research respondents consisting of KUBE management and assistants in Pangkalpinang. The research method uses a mixed approach. Based on the results of the study, the KUBE social companion model that was developed is the professional assistance model, which starts with the process of selective recruitment of KUBE companions based on competency, followed by training, as well as the obligation to report KUBE developments periodically. In addition, this research produced the following findings: (1) 67% of training had an impact on companion skills; (3) There is a gap between the supply material and the companion needs by 50%; (4) It is necessary to improve the quality of the accompanying supplies both in terms of material, method, duration of implementation, instructor and training media; and (5) 58% of KUBE management felt that the mentor was able to help KUBE activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar adanya peningkatan jumlah toko retail online yang ada diindonesia, hal ini membuat persaingan dalam pasar online semakin kompetitif. Perusahaan dituntut tidak hanya dapat menyediakan bermacam ? macam produk yang dibutuhkan, namun perusahaan juga harus mampu menyediakan website yang baik dan dapat menarik perhatian konsumen. Kegiatan berbelanja tidak dapat terlepas dari motivasi yang mendasarinya dan satu motivasi itu adalah motivasi hedonic dimana motivasi merupakan motivasi belanja untuk mendapatkan kesenangan semata. Ketika seseorang berbelanja secara hedonic, tanpa sadar dia akan melakukan sikap impulse buying atau pembelian tidak terencana. Motivasi hedonik dan sikap impulse buying merupakan prilaku konsumen yang sangat menguntungkan perusahaan. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas website terhadap motivasi hedonic dan sikap impulse buying pada website MatahariMall.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan questioner kepada 100 orang pelanggan MatahariMall.com. Analisis data menggunakan Struktural Equation Model ( SEM ). Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kualitas website terhadap hedonic shopping motivation dan impulse buying.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the effect of product placement on word of mouth at NBL Indonesia. Population is audience of NBL Indonesia. Sample taken were 100 respondents using purpossive sampling method. Simple Linear Regression used as an analytical tool. Abstract

This study used the secondary data which taken from BEI at MuhammadiyahUniversity of Malang. The number of companies were only 7 in 2008 to 2011 and listed at the StockExchange. The sampling was total sampling. Analysis techniques used path analysis. The resultsshowed that the cash, receivables, inventories turnover, current ratio, acid test ratio and cash ratiowere not significant simultaneously effect on NPM but positive and significant effect on ROA andROE. Whereas ROA and ROE positive and significantly effect on stock prices. Partially, cash, receivablesturnover and acid test ratio were not significant and negative effect on NPM. Inventory turnover,current ratio and cash ratio were not positive effect. Cash, receivables and inventories turnoverwere not significant and negative effect to ROA whereas current ratio, acid test ratio and cash ratiowere either. Cash, receivables turnover and acid test ratio were not significant negative effect onstock prices through the NPM, ROA and ROE.Keywords: Cash turnover, receivables turnover, inventories turnover, NPM, ROA and ROE.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supplier of frozen chicken at CV. Cupu Artama Jaya, Jombang Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the supplier at CV. Cupu Artama Jaya, Jombang Regency.  According to the result of criteria selection, there are seven criteria used by the company, which are quality, price, delivery time, communication system, packing capability, warranty and complaint service, and management and organization. All of these categories range from very important, important, and sufficient. There are three suppliers selected according to the seven criteria, PT. Wonokoyo, UD. Puri Pangan, and UD. Phalosari. The findings show that UD. Phalosari has the greatest value of 76.89, PT. Wonokoyo gets 72.96, and the last UD. Puri Pangan gets 69.98. referring to this, UD. Phalosari is highly recommended to be the main supplier for the company.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of capital market interation Indonesia (Jakarta Composite Index) with American capital markets (Dow Jones Industrial Average), England (FTSE 100 Index), German (Deutsche Borse AG German Stock Index), Hongkong (Hang Seng) and Japan (Nikkei 225). The result of this study expected to become an information for investment actors in deciding to invest at the stockmarket. These variables include the Indonesian capital market as the dependent variable and the global capital markets as an independent variable. Analysis tool is the correlation coefficient and t test. It is used to determine the significance of the correlation coefficient between independent variables and the dependent variable. Based on the calculation of the correlation coefficient is exemplified that the market index Indonesian capital market and the five major global capital markets has been integrated on various classification levels of relationships or different integration. The level of integration between Indonesian capital market and capital markets of America and Japan are very strong level of integration, the German stock market has stronglevel integration, and England and Hong Kong capital market has low level integration.
