Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of religious moderation in the context of Sharia studies and the associated challenges and understandings of religion. The religious moderation movement has a significant impact on maintaining sustainability, social harmony, and interfaith coexistence in contemporary Muslim society. Despite the diverse views on religious moderation, it is essential to understand that this concept should lead to the preservation of strong faith in Aqidah while practicing tolerance in religious matters. This article also examines various perspectives of scholars and thinkers regarding religious moderation, both in support and doubt. This research employs a qualitative research approach to explore differing viewpoints and understand complex issues within the context of religious moderation. The research findings indicate that moderation is not intended to undermine Aqidah but rather to strengthen it by maintaining tolerance in specific areas such as creed, jurisprudence, ethics, transactions, and economics. A balanced understanding of religious moderation can serve as a strong foundation for creating a peaceful and united Muslim community, in line with Islamic values that emphasize peace, harmony, and interfaith coexistence.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the challenges and constraints in the evolution of Islamic bonds and explore the challenges that have been identified. aims to provide insights into the dynamics of sukuk and identify key challenges. The research method used in this study is a qualitative case study approach. This study uses purposely selected informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of this phenomenon. The data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique, which includes data reduction, data display, and verification, resulting in a comprehensive conclusion about the challenges and future prospects of sukuk (Islamic bonds). The research results in this study produce several causes of challenges and obstacles to the evolution of sukuk (Islamic bonds) in the form of non-uniformity of sharia principles that must be used as guidelines and the complexity of the transaction structure. The study concludes that the evolution of sukuk (Islamic bonds) is faced with significant challenges such as public perception and regulatory complexity, which affect the development of this financial instrument. Nonetheless, the future prospects of sukuk remain promising with increased understanding of Shariah principles and efforts to improve the regulatory infrastructure. To achieve the full potential of sukuk, strong collaboration between market participants, regulators and the public is required to overcome these challenges and capitalize on opportunities to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

In the context of Islamic Economics, Usury is a major sin. However, in the practice of usury, many people are still confused about the practice of usury in everyday life. Both usury in buying and selling and muamalah. Especially those related to bank interest. Because in sharia banking it has become a word that is widely known to both Muslims and non-Muslims. Where sharia banking provides the best service to its customers without usury or interest which is forbidden by Allah and is clearly written in the Koran and Hadith. But even though it has been clearly explained that usury activities are prohibited, it is still a matter of debate to this day. Therefore, this research aims to re-examine the meaning of usury in the Koran, as well as bank interest in the views of several scholars'.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan hukum perkawinan di Indonesia serta berbagai permasalahan yang muncul. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi perkawinan di Indonesia telah melalui tiga fase yang diwarnai oleh berbagai tantangan. Proses perkembangan hukum perkawinan di Indonesia telah melalui perjalanan yang panjang untuk mencapai tujuan berbangsa dan bernegara. Saat ini, terdapat beberapa isu yang dianggap melanggar ketentuan mengenai perkawinan, seperti perkawinan antaragama, perkawinan sirri, perkawinan sesama jenis, dan kawin kontrak. Dari perspektif sejarah, hukum perkawinan di Indonesia menunjukkan kesamaan sejak masa penjajahan Belanda hingga diberlakukannya Undang-Undang No 1 tahun 1974, meskipun dengan ruang lingkup yang semakin luas.

Abstract

Madura has great tourism potential and has high opportunities to develop sharia tourism, however, some tourism in Madura, especially Rindu Beach tourism, does not yet have a full tourism development strategy, and still faces several challenges in implementing sharia principles in accordance with the DSN Fatwa MUI Number 108 of 2016. This research aims to identify and formulate a tourism development strategy for Rindu Bangkalan Beach and to find out whether sharia principles as stated in MUI Fatwa Number 108 of 2016 have been implemented. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and review of relevant documents. The research results show that Rindu Beach has a strong natural attraction, good security and promotion but still faces shortcomings in terms of artificial attractions, cultural attractions, health services, souvenirs and government support. This research also analyzes the suitability of the existing conditions of Rindu Beach with sharia tourism criteria, and designs a development model that can be a reference for local governments and local tourism actors. The resulting policy recommendations are expected to increase the attractiveness of Rindu Beach as a sustainable sharia tourism destination, provide economic benefits for local communities, and preserve religious and cultural values. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of productive zakat programs managed by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Lampung in encouraging the empowerment of human resources (HR) and community economic growth. The analyzed programs include Lampung Sejahtera, Lampung Cerdas, as well as various micro business capital assistance and education through scholarships. The analysis was conducted using two main theories, namely social assistance and maslahah. Social assistance focuses on the assistance provided to mustahiq (zakat recipients) in order to manage zakat funds independently and sustainably, while maslahah theory assesses the extent to which these programs support the fulfillment of the basic needs of human life, such as religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property. The results show that the productive zakat program of BAZNAS in Lampung has an impact on the economic and social empowerment of the community. Through the provision of business capital assistance in the form of ducks and goats, as well as educational scholarships, BAZNAS not only helps increase mustahiq income, but also improves the quality of human resources that can contribute to the local economy. The assistance provided ensures that zakat assistance is used effectively and provides long-term benefits. Meanwhile, the principle of maslahah is achieved by paying attention to five important aspects of life, namely religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property, all of which support the welfare of society.
