Abstract

In the view of Islam, educator essentially is the Prophet?s heir. He has a great responsibility to build the student?s character in order to be good and knowledgable. This is in accordance to the purpose of man?s creation, i.e. to worship Allah. Thus the main purpose of education is to direct mankind to in total obedience to Allah who are able to maintain the earth (khalifah fil ?ardh) based on divine values.  Educator therefore should become a figure who can the divine mission and spread it The divinemission of an educator should be realized in a sufistic character by educating his students both intellectually and spiritually.

Abstract

This paper is behind the concept of innovation that became one of the universal and fundamental strategy. The substance of innovation in education has the purpose of improving and updating the context of human development and educational institutions. Reference and inspiration of Islamic principles into modern theoretical problematic have a significant impact as the basic foundation of management science study in the future. Planning is part of a management science resulting from the process of human innovation of the object of education. This paper uses a method of commentary maudu'I or thematic interpretive analysis, which refers to a unity of certain themes in the verses of the Qur'an, as well as analyze the innovative part of planning in the perspective of Al-Quran. The study of educational innovation embodied in the Qur'an has implications for the human mindset to be able to plan the educational process systematically, objectively and dynamically. Planning human resources to the stage of management is a manifestation of human success to improve the paradigm of innovation that entered the world of education.

Abstract

Maslahat is the fundamental purpose of Islamic law. All that are Allah commanded by Allah through His lawcontain benefit dan kindness to anyone who done it and vice versa all that Allah prohibited contain vices. None of His law is meaningless. Allah has put human beings at the highest level of creation, honored them among His creations, and protects and look after mankind?s life. Qishas was created by Allah to prevent human beings from the vice of human act that endangerhis spirit and body.

Abstract

This paper decribes the existence of the Qur?an abrogation or it?s popularly called the naskh of Qur?an which was introduced by  the ?ulama? in early days of growth and development of Qur?an sciences. The study of abrogation in the Qur?an as part of tehe study ?Ulum al-Qur?an is still questionable until now.  It can be proved tha there are a lot of ulama who oppose the theory of naskh by reducing the verses of Qur?an which are considered have been abrogated. Thus, from time to time the number of abrogation verses is decreasing. Nevertheless, this theme is still warm to be discussed especially when the position of the Qur?an as a holy text that has undergone a transformation and as a culture product.

Abstract

This study discussed the method of tafsir Rawaiul Bayan by Muhammad Ali Ash Shabuni is related to hijab, especially in Surah Annur ayah 30-31. Ash Shabudi prioritised his overview that wearing of veil (cadar) is obligated. On the other hand, the referral literature  used is dissagred that woman?s face is ashame. This literature study  uses Rawaiul Bayan as fundamental literature.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the interpretation of a few Qur?anic verses of Tafsir Al Ibriz,  written by KH Bisri Mustofa, that contain theological teachings. From literature study it was known that KH Bisri Mustafa used bi al-ra?yi approach, as well as bi al-ma?tsur, i.e. using hadith to strengthen the intepretation of the verse. His theology is influenced by Maturidiah and Mu?tazilah, with a tasawuf style. While in terms of method, he used ijmali which tend to be short in explaining the meaning of the verse.

Abstract

Al Qur?an was sent down to Prophet Muhammad SAW as the Holy book by Arabic. Allah decided Arabic as one of miracles because it was the pure language and uninfluenced by any concept, philoshopy of religion, and doctrines by other cultures; and also built by a great roof of words with eternally semantic guarded purity. In Jahiliyah, Arabic was stated as sastra language. It was changed as a science of language since itwas sent down as wahyu. By this case, author decided that process (the alteration from sastra to be wahyu) is a part of Islamization process. The terms, definitions, and new key words come from Islamization process. Those concepts gave new sense which was different in using and understanding before Al qur?an was sent down.  Islamization Arabic, worldview, and framework of the society were changed into Islamic substance.

Abstract

The authenticity of the Qur'an as a scripture is undoubted by its adherents. But when they talk and deal with polygamy verse, it seems it was rejected. Ziauddin Sardar stated that this polygamous verse denotes prohibition. In line with Sardar, Siti Musdah Mulia thinks that polygamy degrades the dignity and value of women. The view of both figures areat odds with texts in well-documented hadith literature that lead to its allowance. This paper attempts to understand both pro and contra sides by accommodating some of the insights and approaches that make it possible to understand this verse.

Abstract

The idea of wali has a meaning that varies from one scientific discipline to another. What is meant in the terminology of the fuqoha (disciplines of jurisprudence) is clearly not the same as the description understood by the Sufis (disciplines of Sufism). This article is intended to trace the use of the term wali in the perspective of Muslim Philosophers (disciplines of philosophy).

Abstract

Muhammad Arkoun is one of Muslim thinkers who offers a controversial theory of interpretation of the Qur'an. Arkoun argues for a project of criticism of Islamic reasoning, which supports the reexamining of the essence considered as well-established in the Islamic world, which for him is not in accordance with the true Islamic reasoning. Through deconstruction he criticizes discourse that is considered well-established in Islam and  inseparable from its readers. One of them is about revelation, in which an important point of change is its historical plot that can been seen from the change of verbal revelation into a written corpus, or mushaf, which he considers as the point of problematization to restore the authenticity of the manuscripts and signifies a deviation in thought and interpretation. As a solution, Arkoun offers the concept of historicity in order to dismantle the discourse rooted for centuries.
