Abstract

The purpose of this final project is to determine the dimensions of the cantilever type retaining wall, to calculate the stability factor of safety (FS) against overturning,shear and the bearing capacity of the soil and to plan the dimensions of the retaining wall reinforcement on the Takengon-Blangkejeren II road. Data collection is done by direct observation in the field, and research in the laboratory. The research procedures in the laboratoty are: soil sampling in the field, the number of soil samples taken, soil sampling techniques, and testing of soil mechanical properties. Testing the mechanical properties of the soil in the form of Direct Shear testing. The result showed that in the laboratory test the soil was sandy silt and silty sand, so that the weight of the soil volume by taking the average value was 17,65 kN/m3, the cohesion value (c) was 0,0272 kg/cm2, the shear angle ( ) obtained 14,56 on the soil sample HB01. In the HB02 soil sample, the weight of the soil volume  was  17,65 kN/m3, the cohesion value (c) was 0,0188 kg/cm2, and the shear angle ( ) was 13,03  in the HB02 soil sample. So that the planned dimensions of the retaining wall are with dimensions H = 6,00 m, B = 3,60 m, qtoe width = 0,60 m, qheel width = 2,40 m.

Abstract

A wharf is a building in a port that is made to moor or close ships that will unload or load goods and unload ferries. This research focuses on modeling the multipurpose wharf structure. The structure of the Deck on Pile wharf is designed to be strong against loads that work either or from areas that include wind, waves, currents, earthquakes and loads due to activities at the pier including ship collision loads (berthing), mooring, loads and vehicles. In this study, trying to analyze on field conditions including information on hydrooceanography, topography, bathymetry, ship design information and pier design. The design of the wharf structure includes the size of the structure, analysis of the strength of structure using the SAP2000 software.

Abstract

Jalan Cut Nyak dhien, Aceh Besar yang menjadi pusat perbelanjaan berupa pasar tradisional. Pada ruas jalan tersebut terdapat parkir di badan jalan (on-street parking) yang menyebabkan kapasitas jalan menjadi berkurang. Kondisi geometrik ruas jalan dengan adanya pedagang kaki lima (PKL) dipersimpangan menyebabkan terjadinya titik konflik. Simpang ini merupakan jalan alternatif, keluar masuk nya kendaraan, baik untuk berpergian maupun aktifitas lainnya dan kawasan dengan pemukiman yang padat. Cara penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara melakukan survey dilapangan untuk mendapatkan volume kendaraan, dengan menggunakan metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Pengujian ini merupakan survey langsung dilapangan, meliputi data sekunder dan data primer. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kemacetan, kepadatan volume lalu-lintas pada simpang jalan berdasarkan karakteristik dan aktifitas jalan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari hasil survey dan pengolahan data adalah Jumlah volume arus lalu lintas kendaraannya (Qtot) pada jam puncak kendaraan tertinggi terjadi pada hari minggu sebesar 6260 smp/jam. Maka kinerja simpang masih dalam kinerja yang baik sehingga harus dioptimalkan. Serta Nilai derajat kejenuhan pada hari Minggu mewakili volume kendaraan tertinggi didapat DS> 0,85 yaitu sebesar 1,69, sehingga Tingkat Pelayanannya (LOS) dikatagorikan ≥ 1,00 yaitu arus terhambat.

Abstract

Proyek Pembangunan Bendungan Bendo merupakan salah satu proyek bendungan yang berada di Jawa Timur yang bertujuan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan air di Kabupaten Ponorogo dan sekitarnya serta untuk menjaga dan menjamin ketersediaan air sepanjang tahun. Salah satu pekerjaan dalam proyek ini adalah pekerjaan timbunan bendungan utama yang terdiri atas 5 zona yang memerlukan waktu cukup lama. Analisa perbandingan produktivitas alat berat dengan menggunakan crash program dilakukan dengan tujuan mendapatkan beberapa alternatif dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan agar pekerjaan selesai lebih cepat dan tidak terjadi keterlambatan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan.Dari hasil analisa, didapatkan perbandingan kondisi normal dan kondisi setelah dilakukan crash program dengan penambahan produktivitas alat berat. Analisa dengan kondisi normal mendapatkan hasil penyelesaian proyek selama 240 hari dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 47.452.800.000,-. Sedangkan analisa setelah dilakukan crash program mendapatkan hasil penyelesaian proyek selama 158 hari dengan kenaikan biaya sebesar 12% dan 15% lebih mahal dari biaya kondisi normal.

Abstract

Alumina (Al) and silica (Si) compounds in Nagan Raya fly ash (FANR) greatly affect the characteristics of geopolymer mortar so that it can be compared to conventional mortar using OPC Semen Padang (OPCSP) with FAS 0.5. This study aims to obtain the optimum composition of geopolymer mortar using Nagan Raya fly ash, so that it can be compared to conventional mortar using OPC with FAS 0.5. This test is carried out using the parameters of workability, setting time and compressive strength in conventional mortar. Alkaline solution was prepared using 10M NaOH solution, the ratio of alkaline solution to FANR was 1.0 and 1.1, respectively, with the ratio of Na2SiO3 to NaOH 2, respectively; 2.5; 3; and 3.5. The results show that the optimum workability of geopolymer mortar is 19.15 cm where this workability is close to the workability of conventional mortar of 19.2 cm, the optimum setting time of geopolymer mortar is 165 minutes where this setting time is close to the conventional mortar setting time of 191 minutes and the optimum compressive strength of mortar. geopolymer obtained at 28.86 MPa where the compressive strength is close to the compressive strength of conventional mortar of 34.38 MPa. So that geopolymer mortar based on FANR is still feasible to use and has a characteristic approach to conventional mortar made from OPCSP with FAS 0.5.

Abstract

The world of transportation’s development from time to time also demands development of its facilities and infrastructure, one of them is sea transportation. The port is a supporting facility for sea transportation that continues to develop to adapt to the demands of the times. The purpose of this research is to analyze the development potential of the Tanjung Tembaga Port which is then determined by the priority ranking of the options that have been obtained. This research using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in the form of a questionnaire addressed to the officials of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III Probolinggo. The results showed that the construction of a jetty was the most important thing to be realized immediately by obtaining a value of 29%, followed by the construction of a passenger terminal with a value of 22%, the application of the Greenport or Eco-port concept with a value of 19.5%, additional warehouse units with a value of 15.1%, construction of stacking yards with a value of 8.2%, and procurement of loading and unloading equipment with a value of 6.2%.

Abstract

Sukaramai village is very difficult to get clean water. The surrounding community uses the lake water for their daily needs but not for consumption. Physically, the water quality of Lake Sukaramai is cloudy and contains TDS. One alternative that can be applied so that lake water can be consumed is the filtration method. The purpose of this study was to determine the decrease in turbidity, total dissolved solids (TDS) and increase in pH in Lake Sukaramai water produced using an activated carbon-silica sand filter with a diameter of 0,1-0,5 with a media thickness of 30 cm and residence time. for 6 hours. The test will be carried out at the Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Laboratory of Lancang University. Based on the results of laboratory tests, it shows that the size of the decrease produced by activated carbon-silica sand filter media is 0,1-0,5 mm in diameter with turbidity parameters 93,94%, TDS 89,26% and pH 5,52%. This shows that activated carbon-silica sand filter media with a diameter of 0,1-0,5 mm is effective in reducing turbidity, TDS (total dissolved solids), and pH in Sukaramai Lake water

Abstract

The rapid development of the Construction Industry is certainly followed by various impacts. These impacts include waste came from the construction industry. Construction contribute to one third of the world's total waste. This research was conducted to identify the materials that most often cause waste in construction work. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to construction companies, by looking at the characteristics and types of materials that were most frequently wasted. The results showed that the characteristics of construction companies are M1 subqualification (intermediate 1) with working experience more than 10 years. The material that most often wastefully  is cement with a value of 16%.
