Abstract

Tanaman tomat termasuk ke dalam tanaman semusim dengan umur lebih kurang 4 bulan, berbentuk perdu dengan tinggi tanaman bisa mencapai 2 meter. Batang tanaman sewaktu masih muda berbentuk bulat dan teksturnya keras berkayu. Ciri khas batang tomat adalah tumbuhnya bulu-bulu halus disekitar permukaannya. Akar tanaman tomat memiliki akar tunggang yang tumbuh menembus kedalam tanah dan akar serabut yang tumbuh menyebar kearah samping tetapi dangkal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat kimia tanah dan kriteria kesuburan tanah pada kemiringan lahan yang berbeda pada tanaman tomat di Desa Riaraja Kecamatan Ende. Penelitian dengan metode skala sampling, pengambilan sampel tanahnya pada lahan tanaman tomat dengan kemiringan lahan berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan kurang lebih 3 bulan. Adapun variabel kimia yang diamati yaitu: P2O5, K2O, Kapasitas Tukar Kation, Kejenuhan Basah, dan C-Organik. Variabel yang telah dianalisis, dideskripsikan dengan membandingkan dengan kriteria kimia tanah dan kesuburan tanah dari Pusat Penelitian Tanah Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P2O5 tegolong sedang hingga sangat tinggi, K2O tergolong tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, KTK tergolong tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, KB tergolong sangat tinggi dan C-organik tergolong sangat rendah hingga sangat tinggi. Sedangkan kriteria kesuburan tanah tergolong sedang hingga tinggi.

Abstract

The Paddy plant is one of the important primary food commodities in Indonesia, Java island is one of the national paddy granaries in Indonesia. As one of the staple ingredients in Indonesia, Paddy rice is also used as a source of livelihood for most people in Indonesia. Sumbersuko Village, located in Pasuruan Regency, Purwosari District, is a village in which the majority of the population works as paddy rice farmers. From this background, the study aims to determine the income level of paddy rice farmers in Sumbersuko Village and to see what factors that influence paddy rice production in Sumbersuko Village. The data used in this study include primary data sources and secondary data sources. The analysis method used is farm income and linear regression. The result of this research is that the average income of rice farmers in Sumbersuko village is around 4,986,054, -IDR per hectare. The factors that significantly influence the area-wide land.

Abstract

Growth Response And Production Of Local Variety Of Long Bean At Various Dosages Of Organic Fertilizer. Red long bean is one of the leguminous plants that has a high nutritional content and plays an important role in meeting the nutritional needs of the whole community and has great opportunities, but the productivity of long beans produced is still very low, the use of manure is expected to increase productivity and quality. from a healthy growing environment. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of organic pig manure and to obtain the optimum dose on the growth and yield of red long bean. The study used a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 5 doses of organic pig manure, namely: P0 = no fertilizer, P1 = 7.5 tons/ha-1 or 2.7 kg/plot, P2 = 15 tons/ha -1 or 5.4 kg/plot, P3 = 22.5 tons/ha-1 or 8.1 kg/plot, P4 = 30 tons/ha-1 or 10.8 kg/plot. The variables observed were number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), number of pods per plant (fruit), pod weight per plant (gr), pod weight per Ha (tons/ha). The results showed that the application of organic fertilizer from pig manure had a very significant effect on the variables of leaf number, leaf area, number of pods, weight of planted pods and weight of pods per hectare with an increase in each observation variable of 11.82% for the number of leaves; leaf area by 20.07%; the number of pods by 21.47%; the weight of the pods planted was 29.24% and the weight of the pods per hectare was 29.21%.

Abstract

Bahan organik dalam tanah merupakan salah satu indikator kesuburan tanah. Penggunaan bahan organik dapat meningkatkan kesuburan tanah melalui perubahan sifat fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah. Lahan sawah dengan intensitas penanaman yang tinggi sangat minim aplikasi pupuk organik. Berbagai alasan mendasar sehingga petani dominan memanfaatkan pupuk anorganik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan unsur hara tanaman. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Desa Magepanda Kecamatan Magepanda Kabupaten Sikka. Uji sifat kimia tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Nusa Cendana Kupang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kandungan C- organik adalah 1,04-2,01% dengan kriteria rendah hingga sedang dan tergolong dalam tanah dengan pH netral (bandingkan sifat kimia tanah menurut Balai Penelitian Tanah Bogor, 1995). Perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah di Desa Magepanda Kecamatan Magepanda Kabupaten Sikka adalah melalui penggunaan pupuk organik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the population, intensity of attack of Helopeltis sp, and the relationship of the cocoa plantation ecosystem to the level of attack of Helopeltis sp. P3S. The study was conducted from May to June 2020. The variables observed were population and intensity of Helopeltis sp attacks as well as temperature, humidity, and natural enemies. The results showed that the population and intensity at the two locations were different. The number of Helopeltis sp in cocoa plantations that did not apply P3S was 49 individuals/tree with attack intensity ranging from 0 - 81.25%, The number of Helopeltis sp in cocoa gardens applying P3S was 6 individuals/tree with attack intensity ranging from 0 - 43.75%. The main factors that play an important role are temperature, humidity, and natural enemies.

Abstract

Soil macrofauna is animals that have a body size of 2-20 mm. The main place of life for macrofauna is not only above but also underground. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of soil macrofauna and environmental conditions on forest land and agricultural land in the Mutubusa Geothermal Mine area. The selection of research sites using the purposive sampling method and The sampling technique was carried out by the monolith sampling method. Observational variables in this study were diversity index, relative frequency, density index, and relative density. The results of the diversity analysis show that there are ten types of soil macrofauna, that is; Cockroaches, Millipedes, Spiders, Ants, Conch, Earthworms, Crickets, Grasshoppers (H' = 1.67), Mixed Fields (H' = 1.32), and Coffee Fields (H' = 1.28). While the density of soil macrofauna in candlenut land is 2.9%, forest land is 0.2%, mixed land is 1.5% and coffee land is 0.4%. The highest important value index in candlenut land was snail species, amounting to 39%, while in forest and mixed land, the highest important value index was ant species, respectively, 41% and 67%.
