<![CDATA[Historical Facts in Rumpa’na Bone Novel by Andi Makmur Makka a New Historicism Study. This research is to understand the historical facts that exist in Rumpa’na Bone novel by Andi Makmur Makka. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative study. The data source of this research is the novel Rumpa’na Bone by Andi Makmur Makka. The analytical method used is the parallel reading technique, by compare with literary texts (novel), and non-literary texts related to events in the analyzed novels. The results include: (1) historical facts in the periode before the collapse of the Bone Kingdom; (2) historical facts are represented through cultural elements, namely siri’culture, royal ceremonies and bissu.]]>

<![CDATA[Writing Descriptive Text using Environmental Media as a Learning Source. This study aims to describe the ability to write descriptive text of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Labakkang Pangkep by utilizing environmental media as a learning resource. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all grade VII students at SMPN 2 Labakkang, Pangkep Regency, totaling 180 students. Sampling was done by using simple random sampling technique. The selected sample, that is class VII R.A. Kartini. The instrument used in this study was a written test. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the level of ability to write descriptive text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Labakkang using environmental media as a learning resource was in the quite capable category.]]>

<![CDATA[The relationship between the use of gadgets and the students' interest in learning Indonesian at SMKN 6 Pangkep. This study aims to determine how much the relationship between device use and students' interest in learning Indonesian. Determination of the sample using the Total Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used Product Moment analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) data processing program. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the intensity of the use of the device and the students' interest in learning Indonesian at SMK Negeri 6 Pangkep.]]>

<![CDATA[Experiential Learning in Poetry Writing Lessons for Class X High School Students. This study aims at describing the effectiveness of experiential learning in learning poetry at the tenth class SMA LPP UMI Makassar by using an experimental research design type One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study is the whole class X SMA LPP UMI Makassar, and the sample collection was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data in this study were collected using observation techniques and oral tests which were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. The results showed that experiential learning was effectively used in poetry writing at the tenth class students of LPP UMI Makassar. This is based on the results of data analysis which shows that on average the results of students’ poetry writing ability tests after applying experiential learning methods are higher than the results of students' poetry writing ability tests before applying experiential learning methods.]]>

<![CDATA[The Influence of Regional Language on Communication Patterns of Students of the Faculty of Letters, Muslim University of Indonesia. This study aims to examine the description of regional language and its effect on student communication patterns. This type of research is quantitative research with regression techniques using a questionnaire instrument. The research data was sourced from students of the 2019 Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program. The number of samples was 59 people using descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and inferential statistics. The results showed that the local language had a significant influence on student communication patterns.]]>

<![CDATA[The Effect of Image Streaming Strategies in Short Story Writing Learning in Class XI High School Students. This study aims to describe the short story writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Takalar Regency before and after using the image streaming strategy and to prove the effect of the image streaming strategy on short story writing skills. This type of research is pre-experimental, with the research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the short story writing skills of students before using the image streaming strategy were classified as less skilled and after using the image streaming strategy were classified as quite skilled, and the image streaming strategy had an effect on students' short story writing skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Analysis of the Completeness of the Paragraph Reasoning Elements and Reasoning Patterns in the Headlines of Kompas Daily Newspapers. This study aims to determine the completeness of the elements and paragraph reasoning patterns in Kompas daily headlines. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data source of this research is Kompas daily newspaper. The results showed that the elements of the paragraphs used in Kompas daily headlines were the main sentence elements, explanatory sentences, affirmative sentences, and transitions, and used deductive, inductive, and mixed paragraph reasoning patterns. The paragraph elements used in Kompas daily headlines are complete and there are all patterns of reasoning in his writings, although more often use deductive patterns.]]>

<![CDATA[The Effect of Bugis Song Media Utilization on the Short Story Writing Ability of Class XI SMA. This study aims to describe the results of learning to write short stories for class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Pinrang before and after using Bugis song media, and to prove the effect of using Bugis song media on the ability to write short stories of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Pinrang. This type of research is pre-experimental, with the One Group pretest-posttest research design. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the students 'ability to write short stories before using Bugis song media was categorized as quite capable, after using Bugis song media was categorized as quite capable, and the use of Bugis song media had an effect on the students' ability to write short stories.]]>

This study aims to determine the effect of local cultural video media on the ability to write descriptive texts of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bissappu, Bantaeng Regency. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental design with One Group Pretest-Postest Design research design. The data collection technique is a test which is divided into pretest and postest. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an influence between local cultural video media on the ability to write descriptive text for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bissappu, Bantaeng Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Polite Language Based on the Principles of Student Cooperation Class of 2018 PBSI UNM Study Program. This study aims to describe the scale of language politeness based on compliance with and violations of the principle of cooperation in discussion activities for students of the 2018 PBSI UNM Study Program. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the language politeness scale based on the compliance with the principle of cooperation in the discussion activities of students of the 2018 PBSI UNM Study Program was categorized as varied, namely: polite, moderately polite, less polite, and disrespectful by obeying four maxims, three maxims, and two maxims. Likewise, the scale of language politeness based on violations of the principle of cooperation in discussion activities for students of the 2018 PBSI UNM Study Program has varied categories, namely: moderately polite, insufficient, and impolite with violations of two maxims and one maxim.]]>
