Abstract

Salah satu penyakit yang sering menyerang ikan air tawar adalah penyakit MAS (Motile Aeromonas Septicemia) yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila dan dikenal sebagai penyakit bercak merah.  Secara in vitro, ekstrak bawang putih berpotensi sebagai antibakteri yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri A. hydrophilla.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan daya hambat ekstrak bawang tiwai (Eleutherine americana) terhadap tingkat pencegahan infeksi bakteri Aeromonas hydrophilla secara in vitro.  Penelitian ini menggunakan 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan menggunakan konsentrasi ekstrak bawang tiwai 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50%, kontrol negatif tanpa ekstrak bawang tiwai sedangkan kontrol positif menggunakan kloranfenikol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bawang tiwai dengan konsentrasi 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50% memiliki pengaruh terhadap daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri A. hydrophilla.  Konsentrasi ekstrak bawang tiwai 30% memperlihatkan daya hambat tertinggi pada uji zona hambat terhadap bakteri A. hydrophilla  yaitu sebesar  14,5 mm memiliki respon hambat pertumbuhan yang kuat, dengan nilai efektivitas 72,5%.  sehingga ekstrak bawang tiwai dapat digunakan sebagai bahan alternative pengganti zat antimikroba kimia untuk pengobatan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri A. hydrophilla.

Abstract

The present research aimed to analyze adverbial anaphora resistance in students? descriptive texts at the Department of Indonesian Language Education and Literature, Faculty of Languages and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The problem ?How is adverbial anaphora (resistance) was presented in the descriptive texts written by the students? A descriptive qualitative content analysis was employed in this research. Data collection was performed through documentation of the five-semester students? descriptive texts. The results show that adverbial anaphora resistance in the students? descriptive texts consists of: (1) anaphora within adverbs of place ( ini ?this? and di sana ?there? that occupy a different position); (2) anaphora within adverbs of time (tahun ?year?, pagi hari ?in the morning?, and malam hari ?at night?); (2) anaphora within adverbs of purpose (bagi ?for? and untuk ?to?); (4) anaphora within adverbs of comparison (seperti ?like?); (5) anaphora within adverbs of cause (sebab ?cause? and karena ?because?). Adverbial anaphora is highly associated with the placement of words, the relationship between words and phrases, or interrelationship among sentences. The limited number of adverbial anaphora produced by the students originates from the students? lack of competence in writing a text.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Transformational Leadership Style, Transactional Leadership Style and Job Satisfaction have influence, either simultaneously or partially, to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Employee PT.Konstrindo Putera Perkasa. The sample in this study using all the population with the method used is saturated or census sampling. Data collection was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and through observation (observation). This study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method with the help of computer program SPSS For Windows Release 17.0.The result of hypothesis analysis and testing can be concluded that: (1) based on results obtained by Sig.F 0.000 <0,05, which can be interpreted that the variables of transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and job satisfaction simultaneously affect the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) variable. (2) based on the regression test results, the variables of transformational leadership style have significance level t sig. (0,000) <α (0,05), transactional leadership style variable has significance level t sig. (0.019) <α (0,05) and job satisfaction variable have significance level t sig. (0,05) <α (0,05), so that variable of transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and satisfaction of work partially influence to organizational citizenship Behavior (OCB) variable (3) based on result of regression test obtained variable which influenced most dominant is transformational leadership style has the highest Beta value is 0.708. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional ,Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional dan Kepuasan Kerja mempunyai pengaruh, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial, terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)  Karyawan PT.Konstrindo Putera Perkasa, Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi dengan metode yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh atau sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan melalui pengamatan (observasi). Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS For Windows Release 17.0. Hasil analisis Uji F disimpulkan bahwa variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kepuasan kerja secara serempak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) sedangkan Uji T disimpulkan variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kepuasan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh terhadapvariabel Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).

Abstract

This research contributes to language development, especially adjectival retention as a very basic resilience in the text. Research on adjectives has been conducted by (Kennedy, 2013), (Schiff et al., 2014), (Sharma et al., 2015), (Sato et al., 2016), (Cutillas & Tolchinsky, 2017) Compared to the previous studies, however, the present study focuses on adjectival retention. In addition, the research findings also provide an understanding of the use of adjectives with the meaningfulness contained in the sentence. This research is a qualitative one, using a content analysis method. The data consist of persuasive essays written by 83 students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program in the Faculty of Languages and Literature at State University of Makassar, submitted during March to September 2019 period. While the research data were in the form of adjectives in the essays submitted, the research instrument was the researchers themselves. Data collection was done by giving assignments to the students to write persuasive essays. Data analysis techniques were identifying, reducing, presenting the data, verifying, and drawing conclusions about adjectival retention. The findings of the study indicate the following cases of adjectival retention: (a) weakening of positive adjectival retention; (b) intensive retention occurring not only with the precursor which precedes it, but also with the constituent following it; (c) elative retention appearing only after the use of verbs in the sentence; (d) excessive adjectival retention having a formation that occurs due to a conjunction stating the cause; (e) retention of argumentative adjectives placing emphasis on the part of the core sentence; (f) retention of attenuate adjectives reinforcing one another and not weakening the other parts. Overall, some 42% of the essays contain adjectival retention and 58% of them were without adjectival retention.

Abstract

Kesulitan belajar tidak memandang kemampuan intelegensi yang dimiliki siswa. Banyak siswa dengan intelegensi tinggi dapat meraih prestasi belajar yang rendah. Siswa sulit mengerjakan soal yang ada dikarenakan sulitnya memamahami soal, kurangnya mampu menguasai materi yang diajarkan oleh guru disekolah, serta ketika menjelang Ujian, siswa tidak belajar dengan sungguh-sungguh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesulitan kognitif berdasarkan taksonomi bloom revisi dan letak kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada aspek kognitif pada pelajaran matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika SMP di Kota Baubau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP di Kota Baubau tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan teknik pengukuran dalam bentuk tes diagnostik yang berupa soal-soal Ujian Nasional Matematika tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang telah dimodifikasi oleh peneliti dan wawancara untuk mendukung hasil analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan: 1) tingkat kesulitan kognitif berdasarkan taksonomi bloom revisi dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika SMP di Kota Baubau dengan skor sebesar 42,43  yaitu berada pada tingkat kesulitan sedang, dan 2) letak kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada aspek kognitif, yaitu: kesulitan pemahaman faktual dengan persentase interval sebesar 10,48%-20,52%, kesulitan pemahaman konseptual dengan persentase interval sebesar 72,26%-83,74%, dan kesulitan pemahaman prosedural dengan persentase interval sebesar 86,44%-94,56%. Learning difficulties are regardless of a student's intelligence. Many students with high intelligence can achieve low learning achievement. Students find it challenging to work on existing problems due to the difficulty of understanding the questions, the lack of being able to master the material taught by the teacher at school, and when approaching the exam, students do not study seriously. This study aimed to describe the level of cognitive difficulties based on Bloom's revised taxonomy and the location of students' learning difficulties in the cognitive aspect of mathematics in solving junior high school math problems in Baubau City. This research used a survey method. The subjects in this study were grade IX junior high school students in Baubau City in the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection in this study was carried out using measurement techniques in the form of diagnostic tests in the form of Mathematics National Examination questions for the 2018/2019 school year which had been modified by the researcher and interviews to support the analysis results. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions were obtained: 1) the level of cognitive difficulty based on Bloom's revised taxonomy in solving junior high school math problems in Baubau City with a score of 42.43, which is at a moderate level of difficulty, and 2) the location of students' mathematics learning difficulties in cognitive aspects, namely: factual comprehension difficulties with a percentage interval of 10.48%-20.52%, conceptual comprehension difficulties with a percentage interval of 72.26%-83.74%, and procedural comprehension difficulties with a percentage interval of 86.44%-94.56%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the poetry writing skills of students in class VIII.11 UPT SPF SMP Negeri 3 Makassar through acrostic techniques. This research uses a type of action research. The implementation of the action was carried out for two cycles, each ermine the improvement of students' writing skills, researchers used observation sheets and poetry writing tests for each cycle. consisting of two meetings. Each cycle went through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. To determine the improvement of students' writing skills, researchers used observation sheets and poetry writing tests for eactotalingThe subjects in this study were students of class VIII.11 UPT SPF SMP Negerir in the academic year 2023/2024, totalling 34 students. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, during the implementation of cycles I and II, the average score of students was 63.2 for cycle I and 78.8 foII,cycle II. In cycle I, there were 17 students who reached the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP), while in cycle II there were 28 students who reached KKTP. The results showed that the application of the acrostic technique in the poetry learning process was able to improve poetry writing skills in students of class VIII.11 UPT SPF SMP Negeri 3 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the plot structure in the novel Pulang-Pergi by Tere Liye and its relevance to literature learning in junior high school. The research method the author uses is descriptive; the form of this research is qualitative; and it uses a structural approach. The results show that there is more than one conflict contained in the novel Pulang-Pergi by Tere Liye, namely the conflict between Bujang and his friends with Natascha and his troops on Bujang and Maria's wedding night due to Natascha's past grudges with Otets, with hitmen, and with military members. All these conflicts are reduced to one main conflict, namely the togetherness and trust of Bujang and his friends in fighting Natascha's cruelty. Furthermore, the main climax that is able to summarize the story structure is marked by the urgency and inability of the characters to fight Natascha, Black Widow, and Diego (Natascha's ally). The novel Pulang-Pergi by Tere Liye can be relevant in junior high school grade VIII in the independent

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1)Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Rantetayo Kabupaten Tana Toraja melalui penerapan model Konvensional,(2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tantetayo Kabupaten Tana Toraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair  Share (TPS),(3)Membuktikan keefektifan model pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Rantetayo Kabupaten Tana Toraja.   Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang berbentuk eksperimen dengan melibatkan dua kelompok yang terdiri dari satu kelas sebagai kelompok eksprimen dan satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluru siswa kelas IX SMPN 4. Penarikan Smpel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan penugasan menjawab pertanyaan pada pretess dan post test. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS Version 25. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TPS lebih efektif daripada konvensional terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Rantetayo. Terbukti dari hasil uji t Independent Samppel T-test diperoleh thitung >ttabel (th 3,631>tt 2,074) dengan taraf signifikan (2 sisi) 5% : 2 = -0,25. Sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Selain ini dapat dibuktikan dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata kelas VII B adalah 70,68 dan kelas VIII A adalah 78,82. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of transactional leadership style and communication style on organizational commitment at the Secretariat Office of the North Konawe Regency DPRD. The sample in this study consists of all employees at the Secretariat Office of the North Konawe Regency DPRD, totaling 65 people. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Transactional leadership style and communication style have a positive and significant influence on the organizational commitment of employees at the Secretariat Office of the North Konawe Regency DPRD. (2) Transactional leadership style has a positive and significant influence on the organizational commitment of employees at the Secretariat Office of the North Konawe Regency DPRD. (3) Communication style has a positive and significant influence on the organizational commitment of employees at the Secretariat Office of the North Konawe Regency DPRD.
