Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of mentor language style in Zenius Education learning application. The research method used in the study is descriptive qualitative method. The data source is learning videos from Zenius Education application. The form of data in this research is in the form of sentence quotations from the speech of Zenius Education mentors. The collection techniques in this research are observation, documentation, and listening and recording. The data analysis technique carried out by the first researcher converts the data obtained into written form. The data that has been seen in the form of learning videos is then poured into writing. Then the researcher identifies the language style used in the video that has been seen. Finally, the researchers categorised the data through note-taking techniques and drew conclusions. The results show that in the learning videos in the Zenius Education application, the use of official and unofficial language styles is used only to show professionalism and emphasize certain things to form the focus of students in understanding the material while conversational language styles are mostly used in the learning process to create a more active classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Kota Bima. Adapun masalahnya adalah: (1) Kurangnya pengetahuan dan skill siswa dalam menulis berita sebagai bagian dari citizen jornalism; 2) Tingginya penyebaran informasi yang tidak benar (hoax) sehingga diperlukan peran masyarakat (siswa) dalam penyebaran informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik menulis dan membaca berita. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu (1) Apersepsi dan pemberian pemahaman awal pada siswa terkait berita; (2)  Pemberian materi pada siswa tentang menulis berita; (3) Praktik menulis berita; dan (4) evaluasi serta praktik membaca berita. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) Pengetahuan siswa tentang teori menulis berita semakin meningkat, dan (2) Siswa memiliki keterampilan untuk menulis berita. Kemampuan ini menjadi keterampilan tambahan siswa yang dapat diaplikasikan pada kehidupan bermasyarakat untuk menangkal berita hoax. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Siswa, Menulis Berita, Jurnalisme Warga

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the forms of euphemism in the COVID-19 news articles of Harian Fajar Makassar; and (2) describe the functions of euphemism in the COVID-19 news articles of Harian Fajar Makassar. The data for this research consists of excerpts from news texts in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences containing euphemisms in the COVID-19 news articles of Harian Fajar Makassar. The data collection techniques used are the listening technique, the note-taking technique, and the documentation technique. Data analysis is carried out by analyzing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) the forms of euphemism found in the COVID-19 news articles of Harian Fajar Makassar include abbreviations, loanwords, foreign terms, periphrasis, and metaphors. (2) The functions of euphemism found in the COVID-19 news articles of Harian Fajar Makassar include functions of politeness and comfort, functions of meaning concealment, the religious term function "Complying with Religious Procedures", and the function of avoiding bad outcomes.

Abstract

Magang merupakan jembatan penting dalam menghubungkan teori yang diperoleh di bangku kuliah dengan praktik langsung di dunia kerja, khususnya dalam bidang jurnalistik. Artikel ini membahas pengalaman magang di Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Makassar, yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk memahami dinamika dunia media dan penyiaran. Selama magang, peserta terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas jurnalistik, termasuk penulisan berita, penyuntingan, peliputan lapangan, dan siaran langsung. Penelitian ini menggambarkan tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti menghubungkan teori dengan praktik, kecepatan penyiaran berita, dan penggunaan teknologi dalam dunia jurnalistik yang terus berkembang. Selain itu, pembelajaran mengenai etika jurnalistik dan teknik wawancara juga menjadi fokus utama dalam pengembangan keterampilan praktis. Dengan menggunakan metode partisipasi aktif dan observasi, magang ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang proses pemberitaan dan pentingnya kerjasama tim, improvisasi, serta kemampuan beradaptasi dalam menghadapi tantangan di industri media. Pengalaman ini sangat bermanfaat untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa memasuki dunia kerja di industri media dan penyiaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of satirical language styles spoken by guest stars in Ormascontent on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. The research method applied in this study is a qualitative approach. In this study, the data collected includes 4 videos of Ormascontent published on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel in the August 2023 edition. Each video has a duration of about 50 minutes. Furthermore, the videos were analysed to determine the type of satirical language style. The results showed that there were 28 types of satire sentences found, consisting of 21 horatian type satire, then 7 juvenalian type satire. Of the 28 satire styles found, the meanings of the satire styles provide an in-depth understanding of how satire is used to influence opinions and views among YouTube viewers.

Abstract

Learning to Write Poetry for Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 6 Labakkang. This study aims to obtain a complete and accurate picture of the implementation of learning to write poetry for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Labakkang. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the material and media components used by the teacher had made the implementation of learning to write poetry well. However, there are still some obstacles that affect learning, one of the different levels of student understanding makes students slow in understanding the material and the lack of variety of media used by teachers.

Abstract

The Effect of Image Streaming Strategies in Short Story Writing Learning in Class XI High School Students. This study aims to describe the short story writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Takalar Regency before and after using the image streaming strategy and to prove the effect of the image streaming strategy on short story writing skills. This type of research is pre-experimental, with the research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the short story writing skills of students before using the image streaming strategy were classified as less skilled and after using the image streaming strategy were classified as quite skilled, and the image streaming strategy had an effect on students' short story writing skills.

Abstract

Analysis Structure Fable Texts Students of Grade VII State Junior High School 18 Makassar. This study aims to describe the structure of fable story text in the writing of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Makassar on aspects of the fable story text content. The data collection techniques in this study were the writing technique of fable story texts. The research data was obtained through assignments by teachers to students, which were done at school. The results showed that. The use of fable story structure written by eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Makassar which included the use of structure (orientation, complications, resolution and koda) found as many as ten fable stories. 1 fable story that does not have a resolution structure, and there are ten fable stories that do not have a koda structure of a total of 20 fable stories.

Abstract

Analisis Soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Berdasarkan Dimensi Kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk soal HOTS tingkat menganalisis dalam buku ajar bahasa Indonesia kelas IX, (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk soal HOTS tingkat mengevaluasi dalam buku ajar bahasa Indonesia kelas IX, dan (3) mendeskripsikan bentuk soal HOTS tingkat mencipta dalam buku ajar bahasa Indonesia kelas IX. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah buku teks pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IX edisi revisi tahun 2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Peneliti mendeskripsikan data soal HOTS berdasarkan panduan analisis soal yang sesuai dengan taksonomi Bloom Revisi Anderson dan Krathwohl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk soal HOTS tingkat menganalisis dalam buku ini berupa pertanyaan membedakan, mengorganisasikan, dan mengatribusikan. Selanjutnya, bentuk soal HOTS tingkat mengevaluasi dalam buku ini berupa pertanyaan memeriksa dan mengkritik. Terakhir, bentuk soal HOTS tingkat mencipta dalam buku ini berupa pertanyaan merencanakan dan memproduksi.

Abstract

Hypograms in Sajak Liar Poetry on Social Media Instagram: Overview of Rifaterre Semiotics. This study aims to describe the data that includes the potential and actual hypograms, in other words, to describe the origin of the texts in several poems in the Sajak Liar poetry account. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research on Sajak Liar poetry show that there are several circumstances behind the writing of the selected work as well as different implications of several lines of several poems that show actual evidence of the poetry. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research.
