Abstract

Full support of tourist activities in each area to accelerate in achieving the target of tourist visit is expected for the tourism advancement in each region. Tanjungpinang is one of the three main gates in Riau Islands. The city of Tanjungpinang prepares various events and festivals to support the growth of tourists visit. Tourists now demand a dining experience that is not only a process of fulfilling the needs felt by the taste buds, but also the other four senses. Focusing on tourists demands, the purpose of this research is to find out the development of culinary tourism destinations through one of the semprong cake festivals held in Tanjungpinang city. Research Method use Qualitative Descriptive Based on the result of the study, organizer was very successful in making an interesting concept. However, the limitations of the organizer in conducting the festival resulted in not achieving the aims of the festival. Thus, the readiness to develop a culinary tourism destination become unfulfilled. In this case, it is necessary to take a strategic view of creating experience with synergy through the 4A approach, that are Attractions, Access, Amenities and Assisting Facilities.Keywords: Tourism, Culinary Tourism, Festival

Abstract

Nowadays, tourism growth starts to deal with new segmentation of market, which is special interest tourism. Special interest destinations also come with special interest market segment. To face this situation, management has to heedful and wise to develop some policy to cover tourist perception. Because, perception can affect buying decisions (in this case, affect the tourist to visit the destination). Buying decisions, of course, take an effect on the level of visit and the level of satisfaction of the tourist who visits the destination. As a special interest destination, balancing the tourist need and the management goals are also tricky. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct a study about the Policy Implementation To Tourist Perception In NuArt Sculpture Park As Special Interest Destination. This study is qualitative descriptive study. The focus of this study is to observe three elements which are the place, the actors and the activity. This study aims to observe the tourist activity while visiting NuArt Sculpture Park, and also to find out about the motivation to visit this destination. The sampling technique chooses for this study is purposive sampling technique. Data collecting instrument was planned to use observation, interview, documentation and also triangulation technique. Abstract

Boyolali district is identical with dairy. Dangean village is located in the District of Cepogo which is a milk producing center in Boyolali. The majority of Dangean people as dairy farmers. The efforts to diversify the community business are by packing the daily activities of residents as a breeder to serve as a tourist attraction in rural tourism. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The method that is used in this research is experiment. The sample determination is done by purposive method that is foreign student representing foreign tourists. The sample is 5 foreign students. The number of samples is determined by considering the readiness of the facilities currently available in Dangean. The results of research conducted by a team of researchers from Ambarrukmo Tourism institute (STIPRAM) Yogyakarta showed that the attractions and packaging tour packages are the factors that become the main preference tourists when traveling in Dangean. The main strengths of Dangean are the activity of attractiveness, the visual landscape of the area, and the package of tourism activities. While the weakness that is currently owned by Dangean is the low level of popularity, competitiveness, and service.Keywords: Dangean Village, Kampung Wisata, attractions, tour packages

Abstract

In the management of tourism sector, Pacitan regency can not be separated from the role of central government in meeting the economic needs and tourism infrastructure in Pacitan regency. The policy of regional autonomy has encouraged the Pacitan local government to manage its own finances in order to increase the regional fiscal independence. The research sample is district government of Pacitan determined by purposive sampling method. The method of analysis in this study is to use simple linear regression analysis. The analysis used is classical assumption test and simple linear regression analysis is used to know the influence between independent variable (X) that is tourism sector to dependent variable (Y) that is fiscal independence. From the results of research proved that the tourism sector positively affect the fiscal independence of the region Pacitan post-establishment of Geopark Gunungsewu.Keywords: Tourism Sector, Fiscal Independence, Geopark Gunungsewu

Abstract

Moslem people have certain needs when travel either for tourism or other purposes. Halal tourism grows fast internationally and the muslim traveler needs should be accommodated for those targeting muslim traveler. The purpose of this research is to gain better understanding about muslim consumer behavior and muslim traveler needs. Literature review and observation have been conducted to collect information, analyzed it and then written it. Muslim traveler needs prayer space facilities and halal food and beverages as the most priority. Hotel accommodation, public facilities, social environment which are muslim friendly are the next needs for muslim traveler. Application and technology are helpful and will make traveling more convenience. The recommendation for tourism and hospitality industry who targeting muslim traveler should improve and provide the needs and what become concern for muslim traveler. Abstract

This research aims to determine how the strategy of preserving the Jamasan Pusaka Suroloyo tradition as a traditional cultural asset in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. The research method uses qualitative research and data analysis uses SWOT analysis. This research was conducted in September-October 2019. Based on the research conducted, researchers found that the preservation of the Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Suroloyo is the only Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Kulon Progo. The Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Suroloyo is held at the Suroloyo Peak Tourism Object on the 1st of Suro. In an effort to preserve the Jamasan tradition, it can be said that the community still carries out this tradition today. In addition, managers and the community have played an important role in the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition and the Government has been very helpful in preserving the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition.Keywords: Jamasan Pusaka Tradition, Preservation, Tourism Culture, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Determine and analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee productivity Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta, (2) analyzing the effect cultural influence organization against employee productivity, (3) Know and analyze the influence of job satisfaction, and organizational culture on employee, and (4) Knowing and analyzing the variable job satisfaction and culture organization if there is a dominant effect on employee productivity. Type of research used in this research is the explanation. The variable in this study are job satisfaction, organizational culture, and work productivity. The populations in this study are all permanent employee of Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta as many as 90 employees. Sampling in this study using the technique of total census or a questionnaire. The analysis tools are simple linear regression and multiple linear regressions. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction on employee productivity, (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture on employee productivity, (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational culture on employee productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta, and (4) There is a positive and significant relationship job satisfaction and organizational culture on employee productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta. The higher variable is job satisfaction. (5) Variable job satisfaction is the most dominant variable influence on employees productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta.Keyword: job satisfaction, organizational culture, work productivity

Abstract

The process of assessing the satisfaction of tourists must be done an organization or business. By knowing the attitude of tourists, Local Government can issue policies related to services for tourists and can find out how far the level of customer satisfaction with the service. Fishbein method is used to determine the attitude of tourists to a particular object or product (such as brand, service, etc.). Based on data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that Si Thole tourism service is considered good based on tourist attitude. with attributes include: low cost, ease of access, precise purpose, quality human resources services and provide comfort for tourists. This can be seen through Fishbein analysis that has been done and obtained the mean value of 79.49. The mean values are at neutral answer intervals and agree or are on the right side indicating a positive value.Keywords: Transportation Performance Tourism, Si Thole, Fishbein Method

Abstract

Marine Tourism Area at Pari Island cluster has a variety of ecosystems, one of them is the seagrass ecosystem. Seagrass is one of the coastal and marine resources, which has the potential to be developed as a resource for tourist attraction in the marine tourism area of Pari Islands. Purpose this study is to describe seagrass conditions, is it worthed to be used as a tourist attraction by conducting field research of species composition, distribution, percent cover at marine tourism territory Pari Islands, DKI Jakarta. The study was conducted from April-May 2017 with the descriptive method, where this method is done by describing or describe seagrass conditions. Survey and field data acquisition carried out in Pari Islands at 10 stations using the quadrant transect method. Based on field observation, in the field was found 5 species of seagrass species Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroides, Halophila ovalis, Syringodium isoetifolium and Thalassia hemprichii that can be a potential attraction for marine tourism. The results of calculations percent cover of seagrass shows that the highest percent cover was at station 9 with total percent was 76,2 %, while the lowest percent cover was at station 2, amounting to 20,4 %.Keywords: Marine Tourism, Pari Islands, Seagrass Beds

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the hospitality industry in Yogyakarta, especially the Grand Orchid Hotel Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Primary data obtained from interviews, observations and interviews. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a very significant impact on the business of the Grand Orchid Hotel Yogyakarta. In terms of income and also the number of employees. Various things have been attempted to keep the hotel operational, namely by giving big discounts for rooms and dining menus in restaurants, making wedding packages with a limited number of guests. As a form of support to the Government regarding the implementation of various restrictions on activities, especially in hotels, Hotel Grand Orchid Yogyakarta has also received CHSE certification from the Ministry and also from the Sleman Regency Government. In addition, the Grand Orchid Hotel Yogyakarta also enforces the COVID-19 Health Protocol SOP for both guests and employees.Keywords: pandemic, hotel industry, grand orchid Yogyakarta
