Abstract

Covid-19 has affected the shift in the regional economic structure. This study aims to determine the shifting changes in the development of the tourism sector of Yogyakarta City during the new normal when Covid-19 pandemic and to determine the pattern of sectoral growth structure of the City of Yogyakarta. The analytical tools used in this research method are shift share analysis and Klassen typology analysis. The results of the shift share analysis conclude that the sub-sector of accommodation and food service activities in the tourism sector still has the opportunity to increase investment and technology development in order to realize a comparative advantage. While, the sectoral Klassen Typology analysis classify 17 categories consisting of sub-sectors of economic structure, each grouped into leading sectors, potential sectors, developing sectors, and underdeveloped sectors. As a result of Covid-19, the shift in the development of the tourism sector in the city of Yogyakarta leads to a potential sector. The value of its contribution to income (GRDP) has slowed. Therefore, government policies are needed on the development of the tourism sector. Nevertheless, Yogyakarta is still known as the City of Education, as evidenced by the education services sub-sector which is still the leading sector.Keywords: Shift Share; Klassen Typology Analysis; dan Tourism Sector

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know agrotourism sustainable development of Mangunan Garden. The reasons of developing agrotourism as such, it educates the purpose of keeping the relationship among local societies, interest sectors, and visitors. The Agrotourism of Mangunan Garden is inspired to improve the farmers earnings and the quality of rural society lives which then unexpectedly represent opportunity to educate th societies on agriculture an ecosystems. Abstract

Lokal wisdoms which are exist in the society of ecotourism area of Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran can improve its tourism attraction in this area. However, this potential attraction has not been executed maximally. Therefore, identification towards its local wisdoms which are exist in the society of ecotourism area of Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran is important to be conducted. This research used qualitative method. This study is aiming at identifying the local wisdoms which can improve tourism attraction in the ecotourism area of Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran. This research showed that there are some local wisdoms that were successfully identified such as sacred places or places which has its folklore, customary law, belief, rituals, and arts. Those various local wisdoms have its beauty, uniqueness, and appropriate meaning that can improve tourism attraction in the ecotourism area of Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran.Keywords: Local Wisdom, Tourism Attraction

Abstract

This research aims at (1) revealing the differences of motivation between the students who are assessed using authentic assessment and those who are not in the English speaking practices and 2) trying out whether or not authentic assessment is more effective than non authentic assessment on the students’ motivation to deal with English speaking practices of Ambarrukmo Tourism Institute. This study was a quasi-experimental study using nonequivalent with one control group and one experimental group design. The data collecting instruments was a questionnaire for students’ motivation measurement. The validity of the instruments was gained using expert judgment and item validity. Bivariate Pearson was employed to check the item validity, whereas the reliability employed Alpha Cronbach. To see the difference in the effect of authentic assessment to the students’ motivation, the data were analyzed using the t-test at the significance level of 5%. The results are as follows. (1) There is a different effect of the authentic assessments on the students’ motivation. (2) Authentic assessment is more effective than non authentic assessment at improving the students’ motivation to deal with English speaking practices of Ambarrukmo Tourism Institute.Keywords: authentic assessments, students’ motivation, English speaking practices

Abstract

Postmodern science is frequently insufficient to address problems in the human environment, such as health during a pandemic like the one that exists today. As a result, it is critical to begin seeking a more comprehensive solution to the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly in the tourism business, by applying the CHSE (Clean, Health, Safety and Environment) protocol using traditional local science and knowledge methodologies. This study is part of the Ambarrukmo Tourism Institute (STIPRAM) Yogyakarta student team's community service project, at the Holistic Village Development and Development Program (PHP2D). A descriptive qualitative research approach is used to determine local wellness. The study's findings reveal that some of the community's daily actions reflect the realization and can be incorporated into the CHSE protocol for Tourism Villages.Keywords: Wellness, CHSE Protocol, Nglanggeran, Tourism

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of Matantimali tourism objects and constraints faced in the management of Matantimali. the writing of this Scientific Article is presented in a descriptive qualitative manner to provide an overview and information about Matantimali tourism objects. Methods of collecting data using observation, interviews, documents, and questionnaires. the data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively and presented descriptively. The results of the study indicate that Matantimali tourism objects have potential but the lack of funds is one of the obstacles so that this potential has not been widely developed. The management of Matantimali tourism objects is currently still managed by the local community because of the absence of regulations with the local government. With sufficient human resources plus the right education and management Matantimali will be beneficial for improving the economy of the surrounding community.Keywords: Tourism Development, Tourism Management, Tourism Attraction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study and to analyze the pattern of tourist destinations to determine the excellence of attractions in each district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, as a tourist attraction. This research uses qualitative research methods with sampling techniques using positive sampling. Data sources used are informants, tourist attractions, and documents. Determination of the advantages of a tourist attraction in a regency and even in the Special Region of Yogyakarta aims to increase the selling power or visitors of a tourist attraction and become an icon or mascot in the regency or region in Yogyakarta Special Region. From the results of the discussion, it was concluded that the most preeminent in the Yogyakarta Special Region was Tourism, Beach and Temple Villages.Keywords: Tourist Patterns, Tourist Attraction, Tourist Asset, Potential Resources

Abstract

Service cape has an important role in the progress of the company's relationships with customers and employees, products and services in design as one that gives a certain image so as to attract the impression or the initial reaction to give consumer expectations. This research uses descriptive method population is taken from The House Of Raminten, and the sample is 100 people. The sampling technique used is convenience non probabilities sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive descriptive analysis. The results showed the highest ranking of the value of 87,8% in the uniform of the employee similar of the theme and the lowest ranking of the value of 23,9% in the parking lot.Keywords: Services cape, Ethnic Restaurant

Abstract

Tourism is known as a borderless sector or has no separating boundaries. It is important to facilitate accessibility for tourist with disability, so the development of a destination will increase as it can be enjoyed by anyone. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Then the data are analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique include: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results revealed that the needs of tourists with visual impairment include: guide tiles, tactile map, signs, showroom lighting, audio availability, Braille text and hands on. The needs of tourist with mobility impairment include: accessibility in parking areas, ramps, doors, toilets, pathways, signs, plenty of seats, enough space in exhibit room, and displays are in suitable height.Keywords: accessibility, disabled, accessible tourism, museum

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires all industries to be more creative and think hard in generating businesses that have been disrupted by this disaster. One of them is the tourism industry in which there is a food and beverage business that must pay more attention to the quality of its products. Because the quality of the product is needed by consumers, especially in these conditions. So to know the level of customer satisfaction to the quality of lethek noodle products sold in Warung Bakmi Lethek Sumarah Bantul Yogyakarta and analyze the attributes that are considered important needed improvement to improve customer satisfaction and even support the progress of culinary tourism in the local area. So the author examined with gap alisis method and IPA method. Informants in this study are consumers of Warung Bakmi Lekthek Sumarah taken with incidental sampling techniques with a total of 100 people. From this study produced an average value of Important Perfomance at 96.27%, where the figure in the category is not satisfactory . For gap analysis results, negative numbers (-) are obtained for menu variation variables, dish portions, food servings, and price variables. A negative sign means that the reality score received by the consumer is below the expected score. From the results of the analysis above, it is expected that the owner and manager of Warung Bakmi Lethek Sumarah pay more attention to the variables above.Keywords: Consumer Satisfaction Level, Product Quality and Covid-19 Pandemic
